btw the title of this video is not related to any other recent youtube videos. It‘s not my intention to be provocative or to hate in any kind of form. I just enjoy to watch other people skating without an opinion to their persona. thanks for the kind feedbacks on the part 🙏🏼❤
lol
Bro you're my favorite skater!
When you can late flip a 360 flip, you don't owe anyone any explanation.
you're allowed to poke fun my guy
No need to explain, its a fun way to bounce the ball back, thats it
So many ridiculous Mullen-esque tricks with crazy foot positioning - nobody would've thought twice if some had sketchy landings, but Jonny seemed to make a point of only including the cleanest landings possible.
Wild, creative, inventive, crazy technical and clean af. 🙌
Forever an inspiration my friend. This is absolutely unreal. Thank you for what you do for skateboarding
I have something special for you 🎁.
you should also do something good for skateboarding!!
@@smelly745 are you implying he hasn't?
@@MrPDTaylor yes
this is the rodney mullen mom says we have at home lmfaooo
Man just wanna say I can't express enough how much joy me and my son get from your skating. You are an absolute legend. Thank you for integrating the Rodney Mullen freestyle tricks into your sets.
Since when is "UA-cam Skater" a bad thing? Johnny is earning an honest living doing what he loves, and keeping me entertained while doing so. Serious respect.
Some nerds just like to hear themselves talk..
I mean it's a real phenomena and 99% of the time it involves ugly board graphics, ugly tricks, cursed shoes, self filming edited to look like not self filming. Most of the time its cringe.
@@mindphaser90 or you could just stop tryna gatekeep a recreation activity ? Who gives a shit what people look like while they're having fun.
It doesn't harm you in any way, grow a bit.
@@mindphaser90 youre not wrong, but graphics and shoes dont matter at all. youre a poser if you think that honestly. but youre right about the youtube skater thing is real and it is pretty cringe but at the end of the day it really doesnt matter its all for fun and even making fun of youtube skaters is just a light hearted thing. it's really not that serious. no one on each end should really be taking it that seriously.
@@tashi32_
The point is you can do whatever you want, but once you put yourself on the internet you cant cry about being criticized. It was your decision to present yourself with your shoes(clothing) trick selection etc etc. anyone filming themselves is asking for some sort of attention good or bad.....
I dont see whybpeople are butthurt over Gifted Haters jokes 😂
This deserves to be discussed on The Nine Club.
Much love, brother.
That's what I came here to say.
@@joekershner117 bro, I got them to talk about it on the nine club live stream today!!!
@@joekershner117 Crob and Castillo loved the part
@Walterooski nice man I want to see that discussion
@@joekershner117 I think it was on members only but if you are a member you should be able to see it
Man, his skating speaks for itself, Jonny really brings creativity to the table, could watch this dude skate all day. So good. Thank you for blessing us with this one 🙏
I stopped skating about 7 years ago, life priorities and age for the most part. You are pretty much the only person I still watch. I never cease to be amazed. Your style pays homage to the greats before you (mainly Mullen) but you add your own flair and ingenuity. Its incredible to see you continue to innovate rather than just switch lazering a 10 stair.
I was a part of the skateboarding boom of the 90s and it's been nice to have someone who can keep me in touch with skateboarding while I am busy raising my children. I know I will get back on the skateboard again one day, but I really enjoy getting to watch Mr. Giger tear it up for now. Excellent Part. Thanks for the content!
So awesome to see another street part from you, so many crazy tricks!! Love you and your skating ❤️
This is one of the first skateboarding parts in years that has had me sat wide-eyed and slack jawed. You are an incredible skateboarder. This part is tremendous.
Watch Nijah Huston part my dude
@@dandavid2027 Nyjah is really overhyped these days in my opinion, sure he's a great skateboarder, but lacks the smooth fat style Luan Oliveira has or the all arround tech perfection of Jonny's.
You are the final boss of sk8 crativity, spots, tricks, style, music...thank you for all your wonderful content!
The only type of skater I see in this video is a passionate one. It’s clear to me that Jonny loves skateboarding and that passion is what constantly motivates me to get better at this amazing sport. Keep up the awesome work, and know that you’re inspiring the next generation of skateboarders.
There’s something Swiss about how your skating is insane and you pair it to the most chill music
Love this part so much. The sunny vibes - the music - the tricks - man, wanna skate right now.
musix is trash bro
@@skamarfire Well, musical taste is a personal thing. Can't argue about taste. 😉
2:03 Oh My, that looks so good on camera. What a combo, +20 style points, new outfit unlocked.
This feels like a direct response to Gifted Haters rating of him lol
Definitely
Gifted Hater is just a regular hater with an extra slice of ego.
I like both guys but this was really good
Jahahahahaha yooo fr fr, i love giger
Thinking the same thing lmao
I'm 33 and just started to skate again I allready got a element complete and just bought a cruiser I absolutely love
I’m 47 and I have seen a LOT of street skate in my life… I can tell you Johnny is the most creative street skater I have EVER seen !!!
Amazing. That last trick was my favorite. 👏👏👏
The style of skateboarding you see people do on UA-cam channels is definitely different than what people would expect to see from "pros". But it shouldn't be thought of as a derogatory thing. It's extremely technical instead of extremely death defying. I find it more enjoyable as it's more of an advanced form of the type of skating I do, so I relate to it more. I of course can't do half the tricks Giger can but they are more in line with what I can do. I do flat ground tricks, tricks on banks, tricks on small legs, small rails, tiny stair sets, small transition, and mostly at skateparks. So while it's definitely cool to watch Nyjah send it down a 30 stair rail or someone skating 14 ft vert ramps or mega ramps, I will watch way more of Jonny's type of content. Plus he's always doing something weird, which I like, and he's great to listen to.
Agree completely. I find this closely focused technical stuff far more engaging. It manages to somehow be relatable, as you said, yet still be absolutely mindblowing.
My SOTD!!!! Decade kudos Mr. Giger!! Hardest working, flowiest, and mostly very diverse and innovative!! And oh ya super hero personality!
Dear Jonny, watching you evolve as a skater year after year, challenging yourself into ever new tricks, is a true pleasure and an inspiration. Ciao from Italy! :)
You did it Jonny. I've watched your channel for years. This is your time to shine. Get it.
I dont even skate but this was dope. Very technical and obvious that you put the time in.
Dude this is the single most inspiring video to skateboard I have ever seen, kudos
I'm not even a skater and this video has vibes of a man solidifying his status as a legend of a sport. You make this insane stuff look so damn easy. Must've taken forever to learn this huge variety of moves.
Sports are objectively measured games of skill.
^ 😂
@@moomoocowsly it's both.
The level of tech here is out of control, and you make the whacky-looking stuff look so dope!
this part absolutely solidified your status as a "pro skater." you don't need to be doing huge gaps or huge grinds, you just need style and skill. You do things in this video that nobody else can do. I have always loved your content but you're so much more than a youtube skater! we love you Jonny!
Yeah Jonny Giger earned his pro title. He's probably the only "pro" on the revive team who has.
@@dsrree John Hill deserves it too
He looks more technical than the pros too. It's just that pros are getting paid to risk their lives more.
He makes it look so fucking easy. So good.
It's not just the skateboarding that is so impressive to me, but the fact that Jonny is such a talented and creative filmmaker. Every shot is flawless, nothing quite compliments the technicality of Jonny's skating like pan shots to the swiss alps, aside from being a great skate video, it's an epic short film in it's own right when it comes to filming and editing technique. Bravo.
The Daewon/Mullen/Anderson/Haslam breed of skater will always be my favorite. Absolute banger of a part
inspiring 🥰
Unreal man, absolutely blown away, Thanks for the stoke!
Insane skills. Completely underrated. Great part.
Pretty appropriately rated.
@@shmooveyea Okay, thanks

My friend at the skatepark said to watch Jonny Giger's new part because it's nuts. He was correct.
So lange drauf gewartet 🙏 Amazing skateboarding 👌
I love how you combine your flat ground nonsense with tech manual and ledge tricks. Ridiculous, truly sets you apart from others. Absolute masterpiece
This revives viewing Rodney Mullen's part in the Questionnable video for the first time. Influential for future generations. Thank you so much! Extremaly Bien, BRAVO.
Ps I need pants!
holy crap, you just keep getting better and better. been watching for years.
The name Giger absolutely deserves to be in the same conversations as the name Mullen. He's absolutely insane and lands the most creative tricks around.
I replayed each trick for the first 2 minutes straight! Then just rewatched the part. So creative and smooth!
I got into skating by watching Rodney. I think the reason that he caught my eye was because he wasn't doing what everyone else was doing. It's so refreshing to see such creativity in Giger's skating. It's good to explore new ideas and think outside of the box. Incredible
bro is literally copying another skater’s entire bag of tricks, one by one, and you call it creativity 😂
This is one of the most refreshing skate parts I have ever watched. Every trick felt like poetry. I think you are literally writing a new chapter in the book that Rodney Mullen started (not saying he started skateboarding) and that is pretty incredible.
This is awesome dude, love the Mullen inspiration.
I enjoy watching it..come and visit Malaysia lots of skate park here...keep on rollin Jonny..i hope 1 day i'll can become pro like you...have a bless day every time...
If you ever did WANT to take a year off to make a dream part, I would mark my calendar and tell everyone I know about it. Always here to support I’ve been here for years and will continue to watch.
the most unique street skater-this is incredible. nobody is doing stuff like this so reliably since rodney.
Incredible part! Love your style, appreciate you producing more footage for us to enjoy, cheers.
Johnny's primo slides are so satisfying to watch.
even though most people would consider youtube skaters a bit cringe, you can not deny the insane level skill in this vid.
He is a pro skater though
He's not Braille.
@@kimmygibler760 Braille is for sure more fun when they aren't messing around and being silly. Still fun tho.
This video randomly popped into my feed, I don’t skateboard or follow the scene. What is a “UA-cam skater” how is it any different than just being a skater?
@@flankman9385I'm guessing a "pro skater" or skater as you referred has a whole production team around him to help find spots to film and provide cameras and etc. As for giger I think he has a small team and his parts gets produced by himself or a second party
Top notch production and a level of skateboarding beyond beliefs!
Jonny improved his skill level tremendously over the last years! Big UP and a really fat daankäääääää to him!
Loved it. Well done Jonny.
Man I’m 46 years old and my first skate video was a Powell Peralta video with Ray Barbie and I loved the flatland segments!! You F’n CRUSH Bro!! Rodney Mullen would be super STOKED at your skating!
That new part of Jonny Impossible-Late-Casper-Hippie-Rail is so good
Jonny giger is the best ! Hugies from Brazil !
Amazing, truly one of the best parts I have ever seen and am willing to bet it truly is one of the best. Like your style and set of tricks so much, thank you for the inspirations!
Wow this might be your most bangin street part Jonny! Such a joy to watch. Crazy skill level. So many homages to Rodney Mullen and even taking his style beyond... thanks for sharing
Been watching you forever now... you're super good and one of my favorite skaters
Am I missing something? How does this only have 50k views? This stuff is ankle decimating gnarly skating.
That crossed foot manny at 1:44 was so beautiful
Dude… you are an inspiration… 🛹🙏🌄
I can’t thank you enough for not only sharing what you do in such a great way- (you are a great teacher - period.)
To see a video like this with you truly letting loose and having fun doing what you love … what to say… just Awesome … 🙏🛹🌄
Sorry if I wrote too much man x you are awesome x keep on rocking it bro x 🛹🤘❤️
I love how even in your completed skating videos you include failures and repetition at some point. From somebody who has skated for decades I can tell you the failures never end. I'm no pro like you, but watching a pro go through the same growing pains as the rest of us, even as a professional, makes the audience feel a sense of comradery with you as a skater. When we get to see your evolution and experience your determination at improvement, it makes your successes feel like a group success. "This is for all the skaters out there, not just the pros". Well done homey, keep killing it!
I love him because he shows there is no shortcut to improving your skills
This is why Rodney Invented all these tricks, is for people to have something fun to do!!
Jonny boy keepin it real!!
Woo! Johnny Giger, I love your channel. Keep it up man you're awesome!
yoyo! love the part, u did alot of things i wasnt prepered for!!
So many legendary tricks in one video. Love your videos!
Awesome as always man. I was just wondering "Why is he not pro" then I realised well, you are. You get paid for making awesome videos doing what you love and that, I believe, is the definition of professional. Rock on man, you're an absolute joy to watch on that board 🤘
always amazing :O the only UA-camr whose videos I watch in slow motion. GG & Respect!!
I dig the title. Jonny is so good, but very different style than what the trends in core skating is.
The title instanly acclimates your brain to understanding, your not gonna see hige bangers and hand rails. Just godly tech.
Good shit. Really dug this
Such an amazing part. Love to watch your progression over the years.
I'm sitting here with my jaw hanging down.. Mind-blowing, incredible, creative skating
One of unique skater so creative in there own ways, ❤️😍🤟🏼
❤amazing skating and enjoying every moment of it..😊this is what skateboarding is about...keep it coming jonny.
Having watched your videos for years now, seeing your progression put together is a hell of a thing. Come a long way, and it’s been so fun being part of that journey. Thanks Jonny, keep it up!
I remember when UA-cam was the place skate footage went to die… I’m so glad it’s changed for the better over the years! This part is balls deep.
this guys is good . i watched quite few of his vids. super technical. respect
Dude you're awesome, remarkable part!!
Front smith front 3 shove was my favorite trick in this for sure. I’ve never seen that before
This was beautiful!
Half cab flip to primo slide was beautiful
I've been skating for over 20 years now and seeing this video was just so awesome. The creativity was just so fresh. Koston has been my favorite skater since I was 10 and can honestly say watching your videos have brought a sense of inspiration to me I haven't had since those early days. You put out such genuinely positive content. Keep doing you brother.
Absolutely amazing, keep pushing boss, greetings from Chile
Love this, what a talent and more slo mo shots are great so you can see just how difficult a trick is
I appreciate how good Jonny is cuz all that primo shiz is insanely hard and his board control is crazy af but I enjoy watching him do traditional skating and lines... He did some f'd up shiii 😅 good part Jonny!! 👏👏👏
Johnny in the wild is astounding. Cheers bro
This is honestly amazing!! Great tricks and keep up the good work
That was amazing. Thank you for all the hard work you put into making these videos
Early 2000's skate video style, need more of that
This is great - the king of original skateboarding.
I feel like I got transported back to 2003 watching Rodney's videos in THPS3/4... The tech in just the first four minutes blows my mind. I commend you Jonny, that was bloody awesome
Great video Jonny. Honestly, you're an amazing skater, man.
Thank you, Jonny! Amazing stylish tricks! Great technical skills! I'm really glad to see such tasty skating! 🙏🙇
Congrats Jonny, I’m sure Rodney will be in touch soon enough to congratulate you too. Thanks and keep it up.
One of the most creative and talented skaters of all time! Amazing work Jonny! I appreciate your passion for skateboarding and progressing tricks.
Been skating since late 80’s early 90’s and my top three is Mullen Hawk and you can’t get enough of you bro
Great video! I love your tech tricks. No one does it like you ! Thanks for the fresh lines!
Don’t have an instagram but would definitely love some of those pants now that I’ve gotten back into skating because of your influence. Love the skate part, just left my mouth open😮. Keep up the great work
love your content glad to see another upload! keep up the great work!
There's a lot of incredible tech skaters around but Jonny has some serious "old soul" in his skating that makes it more enjoyable for me to watch. Unreal level of dedication and complete rejection of failure to get to this level. Nice.
