The only record purchased peregrination Judas Priest physical LP, debut record "Rocka Rolla" (1974) via "Rocky Mungo's Record Shop". With original drummer John Hinch (1973-1975) that featured Alan Moore and co-written by post-original vocalist Al Atkins. (1969-1973). It’s 50-years since Judas released debut record. A 50th anniversary edition "Rocka Rolla" was remix/re-release (2024)

Most record shops, In the ever-changing music industry, independent record stores have found ways not only to survive, but also thrive. Judas Priest can still "Rocka Rolla", 50 years later :)

I've haven't experienced all Priest live footage, the few live concert Priest bootlegs I did experienced. Diamonds And Rust (2CD) 1982. This is one of the more famous live Priest concerts since it was broadcast on MTV and released on video (the DVD in the "Metalogy" boxset is from this show). It was apparently also recorded with the intent to possibly release it as a live record, but I've heard this was eventually scrapped since it was too close to the release of "Unleashed In The East.". Hell Bent For BBC - 1981. This bootleg lists the month for tracks 1-10 as December, but it was November. The concert was broadcast on the radio, hence the BBC introduction. Still Worth Fighting For - 1981. One of the more recent Halford-era bootlegs. There are some between-track edits and the track order was obviously changed. There is also a defect during the guitar intro to "Victim of Changes" (at 0:20) where the sound speeds up for a second or two. It sounds like this was a tape speed problem with the source recording. ☘ xx

It's an absolute crime against humanity that this song was never used in a Terminator movie!

The longest song from "Ram It Down", in 1988 and final album with Dave Holland (drummer). JP are the most commercially popular New Wave of British Heavy Metal (even though they aren't a NWOBHM band, as they formed in 1969). This is largely because JP made it big during the NWOBHM era. "Ram It Down", the album is heavier than their synth-heavy "Turbo". The material on this album was written at the same time as "Turbo", and was even supposed to be released with that album as a double album. You can hear alot of differences, although there's still some songs that could've easily been put on "Turbo" instead. But, this album hinted at a faster, more thrash-like style which was a prelude to the next album, "Painkiller". JP 19 studio albums! quite a lot for most heavy metal bands. JP has released numerous classic albums, including "British Steel," "Screaming for Vengeance," and "Painkiller," which are often cited as essential listening for metal fans. The most recent, "Invincible Shield" (2024). JP's music has had a lasting impact on the development of heavy metal, influencing countless bands and musicians in the genre. JP is known for it's energetic live performances and has built a dedicated fan base over the decades. 🇬🇧
