Hopefully Beverly tries to put her phone down next time.
Gen Zs have done a lot normalizing poor communication etiquette and it’s extending to other generations. Sad 🤦♀️
It was so disgusting seeing a gen X being disrespectful to her colleagues.
Today, I am at loggerheads with most of the hosts.
Firstly, femininity isn't about makeup, hair, nails and dresses, it is an essence. So i am in agreement with Bev mostly. I would advise that we look up the story of Gabrielle Chanel aka Coco Chanel, a fashion mogul, and reasons as to why she made pant suits. This view of femininity has somewhat seemed shallow.
Secondly, being a girly girl doesn't necessarily mean you are embracing your femininity. For instance, one could have a body type that looks exceptionally great in pants; both in suits and baggy pants. To add alittle more on this, some women are most confident with less makeup or none but their essence speaks volumes.
Lastly, some women for instance, those in STEM, certain colors of clothing arent practical in the field. For example, you wouldn't expect one to clean a transformer or check the car engine wearing pink. It is illogical. Owing to this, I will quote Bev or rather paraphrase, there comes a time(s) where being a nurturer, soft, empathetic wont be applicable so embracing qualities such as assertiveness, dominance etc would suffice. All I am saying is that we, women are an embodiment of very many contradictions: you could love wearing the dresses and then also like wearing the suits or pants too, you could like wearing a full face of makeup but also love being all natural. You could be a girly girl but also the mechanical engineer at site. In all these scenarios, you are embracing your femininity. You are a wholesome feminine woman in every scenario not in some that society deems fit for femininity. Otherwise, thank you for the show.
I couldn't have said it better. Thank you, Elizabeth
Well said! In addition (copied from Wikipedia) To what extent femininity is biologically or socially influenced is subject to debate.[3][4][5] It is conceptually distinct from both the female biological sex and from womanhood, as all humans can exhibit feminine and masculine traits, regardless of sex and gender
Beautifully said❤
Thank you….. feminity is something innate and so deep right down to your dna…..i think my ladies needed to do alittle more research on this so we work our way up…..

Today am shouting out Eleanor...she made this episode vibrant.
On behalf of people who said that we miss the old crew, we are sorry.
Bev and Babra have fitted the shoes perfectly well
They did not come to fit the shoes though 😂😂😂... bev and Barbara shine different and bright
Thank you ladies for watching❤❤
I mean they ain't trying to fit in any shows... They have just brought their own light to the show... And it's beautiful ❤
For the period that God desires for BumpLove to be in existence, one thing you can be assured of is that He will bring the right women for the season to be co- hosts on this platform.....that you can be assured of
Wabula I enjoy Barbra and Bev and Manuela
Each bringing their uniqueness
Oh my God....Bev said someone's watching from Hungary...and I am actually watching from Hungary😮😮😮....love you ladies ❤❤
Wow! Greetings!
Thank you Berverly. Femininity is not about how you dress, makeup, perfume. That was quite shallow. Its about embracing your womanhood amd bringing your God given value to society
I loved loved that statement
I love Babra. She is calm & composed & concise.
true dia her femininity is up their
❤❤❤ thank you
Feminine - in a word
Beverly is a highly intelligent woman in this conversation, she is my kind of girl and her definition of the fruits of holy Spirit and femininity resonates with me.... The world makes up all these things & defines for us what femininity is. If you are a woman, you are a woman period.
Feminism is being comfortable in your own difference, embracing your strong points. Acknowledging that your differences do not make you superior or inferior, they make you beautifully different. Beverly, brings it out so well.
Me watching because of Eleanor. I love her
Im a doctor in Zambia and for the longest time, medicine in Zambia has been male dominated. I quit my first job because of this. Because I was a feminine woman. I wore basic makeup - foundation, powder, eyebrows and mascara. I wore my perfume and my "happy coloured clothes" and it was frowned upon so badly, they let me know that they did not approve of me. As a young 24yr old doctor who was fresh on the workforce not yet able to stand her ground, I felt like i did not belong. Or like i wasnt good enough to be a doctor. I quit. When i started ny second job i promised myself that I would not change who i am or what i like or what i look like to fit the mould. Take it or leave it. As long as my employer doesn't mind my appearance, everyone else will have to deal with it. (Nothing inappropriate, just normal work clothes but in pinks, corals, yellows and bright colours, perfume and a face looking like i woke up at home and had time to care for my appearance - and some still frown upon it. But now i dont care, it doesn't affect my ability to do my job.)
This for me is it...... if we are to embrace women in the workplace, can they please remain feminine. Can we not have to be more male to be in a male dominated industry?
❤❤❤
So let mi kunyumiza u, there r things in my family i found i was stretching in yet i was a woman. We stay in a hilly place so id drive family home ,whether slippery or not ans everyone would cheer me on until i said. No, this aint for me, t was risky, i now decided to relax. They either drive me or ride me home i reach when am sober and happy. I thank u bump love. And of late, i embraced changing hir styles, make up and also painting my nails. The confidence is giving. Blessings ba dia.
Manuella that explanation was spot on! You are the part that completes your husband! That was nice
Thank you
Has Eleanor come to stay or you gals just hosted her....I wish she could stay, she would be our Pumla here😂😂 i need someone who will always have an otherwise option in the room.... otherwise the bump love is getting to it's 🔥❤❤❤❤
Felt this all the way
they should just host her more often😊
I always want divergent opinions in the room brought up respectfully but firmly
I struggled with my femininity growing up. I fell in love with my femininity after coming across Pastor Mildred and some other females on social media during COVID and then finally bumping into bump love (pun intended). Im not strong and independent anymore; I'm strong and dependent on my dependable husband.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I love that 😂😂😂😂.
Beautiful❤
@ thank you 😊
Eleanor was amazing, especially how she handled the "pink vs black suit" issue. Listen ladies, it's not a fashion show but a workplace. Come in that black suit (if that's what is acceptable) and deliver. You have all the time to rock those colors off work. Let your results speak NOT your wardrobe. Bravo Eleanor!
And how Manuela addressed femininity - biblically was phenomenal. Thank you Ma'am.
The best place i ever learnt Femininity from is Chimamanda's book Dear Ijeawele so femininity is not only about being a woman
Manuela that hairstyle was made for you ❤
Thank you
The way I love Beverly, she's such a critical thinker and mature in her appproach on the show. I also miss Nabachwa my O.G and Rosette from the earlier shows
Bwolekaaaa, I miss the entire ex host. They were fab!,but I also really loooove Bev., she's an intellect
I agree with Mrs. Nabwiso. Not all men love dark colors that much but if that's the dress code, they show up, make money and wear their orange shirts and Kitaka shorts else where same goes for your pink floral suits! Where them appropriately.
Then I'm inclined to agree with Bev. Being a woman doesn't equate to being feminine. These are mere traits that are learned or embraced along the way. Some host formerly being tomboys is a testament to that. So femininity isn't being a women. Heck! There're some more feminine men as Bev said.
Thank you for the show 😊
I agree, being a woman doesn't necessarily equate to feminine.Femininity are character, thought process etc
Could we kindly request guests who are single, unmarried, divorced, single parents, muslim ladies, older women.. A range of people, please.*DIVERSITY*, not always the married ones.( No offence) A lot of the mentioned people are empowering despite their status and have made a phenomenal difference in life!
But the guests here have not been brought due to their marital status, or have they? If they wanted to talk about divorce or singleparenthood, that would then apply. 🤔
We had pumla before
Babra says went through a divorce, Pumla was there, what are you saying
The ladies have been single before. they understand what it is to be single
Powerful response
This is my opinion; Femininity is an energy and it's exhumed through softness, gentleness, warmth and can be enhanced by smiling, wearing intentional outfits of a certain make that enhance physical feminine attributes, radiate color, wearing jewelry, etc., sitting/standing in particular posture, speaking eloquently but calmly, etc. I don't see it as something imposed on me as a woman, I see it as something that works for me. There are some female roles like pregnancy that make a woman effortlessly feminine, nurturing that comes naturally but there are some situations where we go extra to incorporate our feminine energy. This may seem shallow but it's how I understand femininity.
Wow
Thank you
But femininity can also be fierce and protective……
I agree with you, especially about the softness and gentleness. A gentle man will never exhude it like a woman.
Well stated. The last words of your explanation states it well.
To Mukyala Mulondo. Once on your UA-cam channel, you told us your journey to femininity and I loved it. I will never forget it and I always looked forward to watching those lessons on UA-cam. I miss your lessons, I know you explained why you cant have them anymore. But you don't know how many lives you impacted by just sharing your stories with depth. Thank you for being vulnerable so that lives could be changed.
Manuela thank you for explicitly elaborating the difference between feminism and femininity. I now see the reason as to why say for example when a woman is talking more frequently during a meeting, she will start apologizing before making a good point that she feels she can make. She will start saying stuff like "I'm sorry I'm over speaking but what I want to add is........." while a man would own that space with confidence. I think we can be feminist with utmost femininity.
You inspire me bump love ladies ❤
Loved the conversation... a big shout out to Eleanor, she should join the crew... I love Barbara's gentleness already!
Reading comments also 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
I have to choose between reading and watching in between of the conversation.
I love both the hosts and comment section

Manuela....i love ur shared thoughts on this topic! It has been topnotch 😊
Today the show was 🔥, educative and funny all the way. Thank you ladies
I've listened to everyone and everything but our message must be clear to a varied audience... Let's be women of value and this will fulfil our purpose in all spheres of life.
Whoop whoop, too right ✅️
Beverly is such a wise woman

Very wise
I’ve loved this episode! You ladies are brilliant and make such valid points. Eleanor’s energy gelled so well with y’all’s. She should be hosted more often, if not co-host😅

I bumped into Barbara last Sunday and I must say she is such a beautiful soul, very down to earth I couldn’t believe. Ladies you doing such a great job. Thank you Manuela your super intelligent, thank you ladies
Hai bump love, i love u guys u made me feel at peace, wherever i listen to ur show big up girls 🙏
This conversation is driven by society and worldly perspectives of femininity.
I believe simply, besides being a woman, that femininity traits are being organized, clean, nurturing, caring, concerned, available for other peoples concerns..natural feminine attributes. Yes, including having a woman's crown (hair) and not wearing 'men like' clothing.
High heels, makeup and popping colors are besides the point.
🎉 exactly.....
There we go!
What you mentioned above is exactly what femininity is all about. So personality has nothing to do with femininity. You can be loud and be feminine or shy or quite and still be feminine.
Not to compare but the previous hosts would come more prepared for the topic and not just bring their own opinions only.
@@im4089True
Needed more data points not just opinions
We are conversation starters.....so enjoy peeling back all the layers....
Thank you for the beautiful conversation
It has blessed me ❤
Me personally embracing femininity started by letting a man open for me the door and yeah it feels great.
I love you ladies
But Eleanor we miss you guys i hope u are cooking something for us to glue us on our screens again.
Manuelaaaaa...you look stunning! Your make up is on point 👌. Now I can watch since I have gotten that off my chest 😅
👌 also wanted to say, but Manuela yabitugana 😂 Now let's watch and comment on content
Bwahahahahahahahaha, why do you keep doing this? 🤣😅😂
😂😂😂😂the end part of Eleanor. Thank you so ladies for sharing wisdom with us. I must change my mind set sometimes I have forgotten that actually I am a woman in doing things
Eleanor, I have loved you since the hostel, I watched the entire show because of you.
Manuella cautioned us on commenting about looks, but allow me comment on Bev's hair. It's 10/10. Direct me where you make that short hair
I agree with the guest lady on distraction, ladies let us dress decently to emphasize our inner power. Have also liked her generally, kindly bring her more often. Greetings
Love me some Manuela always… Eleanor stole my heart from Sanyu days..love her accent.. looking forward to when the ladies host Dora Mwima..all love for the ladies🫶🏾
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for being smart ❤. Let me now watch the show
But why did Eleanor take so long to come to this show? Thanks ladies❤
Wabula Brian and Manuaela magic u have I can’t believe am the one waiting for all the two adds and not skipping 😂
Emmanuella your experience was just like mine ,,, having to wear makeup for the very first time and the heels too💃💃💃💃it was cool in the process
I really enjoyed my introduction ceremony
I also found it quite interesting.....and I actually loved it..... and still do it
Can we have Eleanor more and more. she addressed the topic directly with specific answers. she speaks to us the Tom boys who are trying to be feminine and showing us its importance. Please lets have her more and more
Manuela thumbs up on your comments on femininity and feminism.
Well done Manuel, I love your school of thoughts
Thank you
I so agree with Beverly.... Its about values and inborn girly traits which have to be shaped by God. As for the makeup, long nails, weaves and wigs am not sure coz i see the generation of the women rhat gave birth to us didn't have all those but they were women of substance
I agree with Beverly too.
Thank you! Hugely appreciated
Loved this conversation❤. I'm 20 and whenever you just show femininity and look good and play into that feminine side fellow girls try to put you down saying your doing too much. Glad I found closure in this conversation.
I love Beverly submissions
❤❤
Looking fantastic ladies❤❤❤❤❤
Barbara I'm with you on the gentleness ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Thank you ❤
@@babramugeni2966 very much
Can Eleanor please join the show for good. She is smart and confident and still a feminine woman❤😊😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Yes, she is. 😊
@@Nambozobev she is now part of the panel???? Please say yes
this was fun to watch for real 😄
Long awaited gust❤❤❤ ... watching
Beverly I love you ! You explained proverbs 31 very well
Eleanor and manuela r ryt on point, feminist is a fight and not a good one but you don't need to be feminist to fight for a cause. On the other side Feminine is energy for both male and female, although society expects it to be stronger if your female.
One thing about Barbara, when people are having a back and forth, she will stay quiet.😂
Exactly😂❤
she actually mentioned one time that she would rather have you have it your way than going back and forth
Barbara is such a lady...*gentle*
She is also pregnant. She does not want to stress her baby❤😊
Wama and the way the camera guy is trying to hide but we have sharp eyes😂
To me, fminine energy is soft, warm and welcoming ❤ Thank you for this episode.
Manuela’s last statement 🙌🏿. U can be a strong opinionated openminded independent got it all woman, but let your man lead (if u trust his leadership) learn masculine things for whaif moments.
I saw you on Amito...thanx for being a bump lover
This is it. I have so many masculine traits and skills that I am keeping for only when they are absolutely needed.
@@thechristianperspective ooh dear ❤️🩹 thanks for supporting us
Waaaaaw ladies thank you 🙏🙏
Thank you ladies for this insightful discussion. ❤ I think for me the take away is that we need to be very self aware and ensure that we are bringing out the right amount of energy (feminine or masculine) in our different roles and spheres or seasons of life. I feel that the fact that we as women are actually very flexible is what causes this debate. We can switch masculine and feminine energies real quick so we need to be intentional and always aware of which energies we are embodying, where, and how that affects the people around us. Because we need to excel in the work spaces, our homes, as children and parents etc.
So my question is, is the blend possible or must we be feminine everyday all day long? What do y’all think?
There is a lot of misunderstanding each other in this episode. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the episode, it’s very interesting how people can interpret the same thing so differently. I related mostly with Barbra’s point of the power women hold in being feminine but oh my… she was very misunderstood. Her opinion was very much blown out of proportion.
As Barbara said opinion is like a nose..everyone has one
@@RuthButta and for that same reason I couldn't hold up on finishing the episode....
You should finish it.....and be graceful enough to embrace people with opinions different from yours and share yours too.....we will embrace it
Beveeeerlyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ❤❤❤
Eehh Manuela that part of calling Brian when the car breaks down am keeping it aswell in my Marriage t come😂
THIS! and many other "hard manual labor" things like changing a bulb...hubby is doing it all & he loves doing it!!!
#takingcareofme is a mood.
The reality is on top notch and i love you for it.❤
I jus love you guys. Have really enjoyed this one.
❤❤❤ thanks bump love
This tire thing Manuela is saying is accurate, it's the most of men that feel the way Brian feels. Women should understand this. I share in this opinion
Sometimes we need to ask men and actually hear what they have to say, not think what they should say....we would understand another better
@@manuelap.mulondo this is spot on, ask him what he wants, things, envision and how he feels about different things

I think i just love Barbara
Femininity is more like being able to relax and recieve, its having boundaries and sticking to them, its energy. its not about what one wears or the doing of nails or hair naah it’s energy u knw there pipo who just radiate that magnetic energy like in their aura .its how they embody the energy.its how ladies take up spaces without even saying a word, there’s both dark and light feminine
This table 🎉🎉🎉
I swear Manuela that short hair piece looks nice on you
Noticed it too, it should be her signature look. 🎉
Thank you
True
You ladies are fun, loving and brilliant❤
This is such a nuanced topic! I will deep dive, thanks ladies for the varied opinions. I feel Bev insisting on the need of having value and reinforcing cos IMO the shallow idea about feminism caters more to outside appearances and gestures; which I believe is pushing some women to look/ behave like a seductive person, it’s giving the narrative to most women even teenage girls coming up that feminism is all about soft life, long painted nails, wigs, curves, boobs out and name the rest we now see on social media and this is what might be leading some womeninto that sponsor culture we see a rise in …..without value and looking all dolled up just seems like a bimbo, talk to sm pretty looking women and you hear no content, no skills just dressing up to look attractive. There should be more to that hence I believe Bev reiterating the need for VALUE
I feel there is a very thin line in this feminism dogma if not well articulated in the realms that should be tailored to particular situations, it varies to the people you are speaking to and the outlook on how, when one feels & rest in femininity. Yes Manuela, it makes sense to rest in your femininity in ur situation and household to not change tires even if you can, conversely I have seen some husbands frustrated when their wives cannot take ownership and run things in their absence and feel more like cry babies instead of partners, also this take gets tricky for the unmarried or singles to not think they cannot run their affairs by themselves when need be and can only depend or entice men to do or run certain “manly” errands for them. Some women have chosen wrong partners just for sheer need of seeking physical help on certain things, car/home maintenance. In conclusion I feel different stages of life, personal situations, circumstances will require one to act differently and it might or might not be congruent to feminism feelings/standards/outlook
I love the fact that Barbara emphasized more on gentleness and taking care of the children, home than putting on makeup short dress, lingerie brabrabra
❤❤❤
Cyber hugs ladies❤❤❤❤
I have learnt a lot from the last minutes of the episode 👏👏👏👏👏
Preach it Bev🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾. I hate stereotypes.
My meal combo is, adding matoke, cassava and noodles in one pot and cook, hoooooo that combo is the yummiest of all you've just mention😋😋😋😋😋

Thank you so much.
Some of us life has thrown a lot of challenges in our way that we have over tapped into the masculine side too much,I side with Bev on this,as long as value is there, once in a while I get to do what girls do but most days am on the go, Manuella you looked like a million bucks and the makeup was demure.
Thank you
