WOW, never saw this Galan guy before, but he played lights out tennis that day! Unreal, to win 11 games in a row against a top4 opponent with a booming serve. So impressed!
I watched him in round 3 of qualifying against Matteo Arnaldi, everyone in the crowd was cheering for him and Columbia. I was the only one in the crowd cheering for Matteo lol.
Yes but Never win thé legend rafa Roger Djokovic bro
3:36 pulling a 6-0 in the first set of a first round match up in a grand slam tournament to a number four seed while a qualifier is probably the biggest betting odd possibiliy ever recorded in some time...

Not the hero we deserved, but the one we needed
A silent guardian, a watchful protector, a Colombian knight
A man of honor, stopper of cheaters, an Adonis.

@@pavelinslovenia Tsitsipas is suspected by the players on the tour to use prolonged bathroom breaks as a way to talk with his father (couch) mid match, in order to get advice and win the match.
Wow this Galant guy come out from nowhere. Can’t believe the first two sets score. This is how much depth ATP has!!
bro he is a regular at the davis cup for his country and competes in almost every atp tournament for the last 4 years . There is not just 20 players in the world
Gracias a Dios en Colombia va sobresaliendo el tenis a buen nivel mundial
Galan is a great player with tons of experience, to come all the way from 3 qualification games and beat Tsitsipas with such class, man it shows that he's been under estimated. It was a great match. Hope Galan keeps up the momentum and make it all the way to the final💪
He will 🙏🙏🥰🥰
¡Viva Colombia carajo!
Que barraquera de jugar es Daniel! Colombia te amo 🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴🥰🥰🥰🥰🙏🙏
Tsitsipas underestimated Galan so much that he forgot to utilize his secret weapons of 10-min toilet break and the on-court coaching
he spoke a lot with tsitsipapa in the third set
Congratulation to Galan for a superb display of professional Tennis.
Huge Upset, what a performance by Galan. Congrats!
I went to this match the energy of the stadium was amazing !.! My first ever match experience and it was great!.
Crazy to think Tsitsipas is a top 8 player since 2019, it's crazy how talented he is but only has 1 GS final suffer a lot of upset. I mean A LOT of Upset
Galan was incredible today -- gotta love tennis always a chance for the underdog !
Haha Tsitsipas loses the most out of any top 10 player it seems. Anyway, he one of my favs and I think he'll have a significant breakthrough in the next 3 years.
Like Musetti- BIG talent, and sooo weak head.
@@FollowFunk there is no breakthrough for tsitipas anymore, tennis has evolved over the years , If you are a one handed player and you are not Federer, sorry you can’t beat most players who handle the racket with two hands , I see Tsitipas as top 20 and not top 10
@@weronikahmielewicz4033 indeed I agree with you, there is kind of a self doubt with both of them (Tsitsipas and Musetti) hope they over come that soon!
Vamos Daniel! Saludos de Tallahassee!
The calm shock in galan's eyes 🙌🏽
Excelente resumen, gracias
Owned and humiliated.
Congrats Daniel! Best of luck for the rest of the tournament!
Classic GS highlight: goes from 5-5 15-40 Tsitsipas has two break chances (we don’t get to see them) to suddenly Tsitsipas down 5-6 15-40 on his own serve. ZERO context. On an extended highlight. Booo
Talentoso y gran tenista colombiano . Buena suerte!!!!!!
Great game!
Hermoso juego!
Grande Galán!!!
Que bien Galan !! Felicitaciones
great match!
Are you sure Lendl did not have a girlfriend in Colombia some decades ago?? That face and forehands are familiar !!! 🤣🙏👏🎾
😯😯
Lol, you are right!
O my word! 🎾🍾❤️
Started with 11:0.
I am amazed how many people don't heard of Daniel Elahi Galan, in the last 5 years he has been well known on the clay surface tournaments, mainly Challenger level but ATP as well, is only this year that he stepped up his game on hard, same like Francesco Cerundolo, but to say he came out of nowhere you only prove that you don't watch tennis outside of Grand Slams.
it means that u are a gambling addict
Bien Galan, premio a la perseverancia👏👏👏👏👏
Enjoying the competition from the US open
Don’t spoil us with the photo video.
Must've said "at least I beat Medvedev the last time. I can sleep tonight"
Daniel Galán is our best representation from Colombia ! So proud of you ! 🇨🇴🇺🇸🇨🇴🇺🇸🇨🇴🇺🇸🫶🏻🙏🙏🙏🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Que barraquera de jugador es Daniel , me siento orgullosa de ser Colombiana! Bendiciones desde New York 🙏🥰🥰🙏🫶🏻🙏🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
👏👏👏Galan
Tsitsipas does not have a killer shot to give him free points here and there. He always has to work hard to win a point. That gets you physically and mentally eventually.
It’s amazing you make 16 minutes video and don’t show one single point from the 8th game in the 4th set where Galan broke back. Was the game so unspectacular?
De dónde salió este portento de jugador.,es una locomotora.,esperemos no pierds enfoque y concentración y logue grandes cosas para Colombia.,calidosos Daniel Galán.
This guy is just the goat
Unreal

Can you please not show the winner in the thumbnail where you click on the video, it totally spoils the highlights knowing who's going to win. Just show both players in the thumbnail.
Galan played calmly throughout the match
bruh tsitsipas backhand looking worst and worst every tournament
Really should go two hander and he would improve drastically
What a game he has!!! He was better in all departments!!!
Top ten satisfying videos in the world
well deserved for the underdog, very nice
You didn´t show us the most important game in the 4th set at all. Why???
👏🏻🏆🇨🇴
How is cheat pass still ranked so high? He seems to be eliminated so early in almost every gs. Couple that with his constant cheating
I think he gets a bad rep for his fathers constant coaching. I dont believe he deserves to be beaten down so much. Obviously Tsitsipas needs a change in his team and with that hopefully an attitude change. He does not seem to be fighting ...
His one hand backhand is deplorable for a guy who's been in the top five for three years.
he got 3 m1000 finals this year
@@willwahl9225 his attitude is one of the worst of the pro tour. And by far the worst amongst the top10. His match against Kyrgios was a disgrace for tennis, and the press conference was even worse. Its both his father and himself
@@tonymiller6847 exactly. if he doesn't improve this backhand significantly, he will soon disappear from the top ten.
I watched him in round 3 of qualifying against Matteo Arnaldi, everyone in the crowd was cheering for him and Columbia. I was the only one in the crowd cheering for Matteo lol. Galan has very consistent strokes and a reliable serve.
It is Colombia, not Columbia.
Lesson to learn from this match for Galan is to prepare to play five sets when you step on a court. That’s how the top guys win.
Arriba Galan !!!
Stephones Textipas
Stefanos Shitsipas or Toiletsipas
Lol
Very gallant of Galan!
being an owner of 2 sport stores which specialised in tennis, squash n badminton equipment ( n also play all 3 sports), I said years ago that modern tennis is 1 sport that anyone in the top 50 have a chance to outplay one another, if their playing style suits that match. I now extend that to the top 75 players, can outplay 1 another on any particular day, base on form/fitness/injury/stress/etc.........NOTHING SPECIAL....THAT is why the top 5 being so consistent last 10 years is so special....even if they had to have operations to help them back on track
Galan another Big name in tennis?
World no. 4 tsitsipas couldn't figure out a way to win a game for straight 11 games🤦🏼♂️
He looks like Lendl..impressive match
Mental of Tsitipas is very strong and in the end of the match. He is still show how his sportmanship 👍👍👏👏 . Congrats to the both
He plays a very defensive game with no urgency of killing the point at first sight. He lacks the marquee shot for ending a difficult rally. He only serves well mostly built around his physicality but lacks the composure for overturning a bad serve from opponent.
WOW
💪🏻🇨🇴🇨🇴
Should've taken a toilet break at 0-5 down and texted his Dad... 😀
He should be outside top 100
Looks like a tank job by Tsisipas absolutely no energy or effort put forth.
It's unblievable that number 4 seed is out.
Can you post Tsitsipas press conference??
They remind me of Lendl and Borg
Kygrios approves this beating

This is a massacre.
Galan Wonderworld
Tsitsipas’ game is just so poorly suited to the fast hard courts. He clearly likes to take his time to set up shots. Like all throughout these highlights he’s hitting so tentatively and without aggression and urgency.
7:56 😳😳😳
I see tsitsipas lose, i press like
This is supposed to be highlights, and yet you don't show the break back game from Galan in the 4th set?!!! Useless...
Those are bad higlights. I watch these Extended higlights to see all those break points and most importantly 9 match points. So show them !
👍💙❤️
Wow his backhand fell off this year
Tsitsipas vs Dracula
It occurred to me, in the last few points, that Galan resembles Ivan Lendl. Kinda-sorta??? What do you think?
The Next Karatsev perhaps?
Tsitsipas really needs to work on his backhand: it’s to slow and high, so easy to return. Besides that, he shouldn’t let his level get that low. He shouldn’t get himself beaten by a bagel: not on his level as a top 10 player. CONSISTENTCY, that’s what I’m saying.
But also: I don’t wanna disrespect Galán with this comment, he played some ridiculous tennis. I hope he can keep that up, see how far he comes💪
Stepnos is the esaiest person in top 10 to defeat . stats shows no offence but so many up sets agaisnt him
Yeah he's too inconsistent. Norrie would be tougher to beat if you're low ranked player.
stef, is galan a bully too?
ATP minus Big3 = WTA
That cruel face of Galan irks me.
congratz Galan,US Open is not stadium for European players
Even though European players have won 17 of the last 18 US Opens?
He comes in asleep, loses two stes, then wins two sets and then loses the match. Only he can pull off that kind of show
🤣
he won only one set
What about you Tsisipas?
Easy draw for Galan. Won 11 games in a row. ;)
On serious note, something is really wrong with Tsitsipas. Of course it is mental strength he lacks.
Tsitipas played bad in set1 & 2
Galan >> Federer
Tsisi main strength is mental. His strokes are mediocre. 00 against Sampras,Agassi and others.
You are in the wrong decade Lol
Dura la pagnotta stefanos
Ale Galan
"Poner un Grand Slam así en riesgo es una verdadera osadía" tu karma bigmouth
Rearly??
Many congrats to Galan. Any decent coach who knows about tennis tactics knows how to beat Tsitsipas. You just hit it to his bh & go to the net. All he does is arm his bh & even slices it when his opponent is at he net. In all those highlight there was not one winner Tsitsipas hit on his bh. Tsitsipas should also save his fist pumping & staring at his opponent when he actually wins a game point, as he just looks silly.
tsitsipas has to have the weakest one handed backhand on the tour its actually insane.
Weakest in terms of pace, but definitely not weakest in terms of stability and control.
Shapo
@@LowkAlexander close enough
Love this humble Columbian !
did anyone actually watch? was tsitsipas injured?? how did he lose 0 and 1 first 2 sets...
Galan came right out straight away with a lot of power and was blasting forehand winners whereas Tsitsipas's forehand was just horrendous with so many errors it was crazy.
no restroom breaks hmmmp...
