Please spare me that pain. She was by far the worst character with the worst acting! Constantly name dropping who she was, acting way too cool, trying so hard to be a bad arse hiding behind her fathers reputation! Just another feminist character who just isnt believable because she wouldnt last a minute in the real world of gangsters!!!
@@matrix35 well I think the point was not 'hiding behind her father's reputation' but having to be his presence in the outside world. She was still very much shown as having to take orders until the very end when she finally has 'her own skin in the game'. And he was shown to still have the power eg call off the Gospel...
@@matrix35 I am usually against all the woke BS these days. However, I thought the character of Susie Glass was very well-written. The reason she acts like a bad ass is because she knows she is basically untouchable, due to her father's reputation. We see her vulnerability and flaws as the show progresses though. She is impulsive and reckless at times and she is often overruled by her father, who is shown to be much more level-headed than her. This is completely different to the one-dimensional "girl boss" characters we frequently see nowadays.
This will go down as one of the most legendary and hilarious scenes ever to be on tv. Ive never laughed so hard at a scene in all my life. It was brilliant 👏
The gentleman is such a good show and it’s an excellent sequel to the movie that I love so much and all the Easter eggs from the movie set well in all of the episodes and I hope season two comes
I watched the series a few weeks ago and when my husband started watching it a few days ago the first thing I said was ‘the chicken scene’ and nothing more. It felt so wrong to watch it at times but you just couldn’t stop. The actors all nailed their characters so perfectly you kept coming back for more. Amazing performances, casting and directing!
I watched the whole series in a day, been waiting for next season. I really love the authenticity of each character in this movie especially on Theo and Kaya, such an amazing tandem we didn’t have for a long time❤️
Looking forward to see more scenes between Freddy and Susie next season. Two radically different personalities and interjecting character arcs. I feel the vibe between them in this shortie is great yet restrained. They need to spend more time together, like the rest of the cast. I'd say the same thing for Bobby Glass and Geoff - we need a standoff between two cockneys.
Have a watched this show two times already. I never rewatch anything. Not even my favourite shows, never. Thus was that good. You don’t feel the 8 episodes
Very, very solid team, aside from the Asian dude (too bad). I didn't expect to enjoy so much the company of these characters, including the fuck up brother.
I swear that guy's acting on chicken and his overall craziness is brilliant.
"That guy" it's daniel 😑
Can't wait for season 2. Such a great series, finished in one setting. Every character is so unique and morish.
How do you know there will be a season 2?
@@nasseryoyo9374it's in development
There won't.
@@nasseryoyo9374typical Netflix audience, want season 2 of everything once they are done with season 1😂
@@ehraz786there is a season confirmed. Typical haters, hating for no reason. So what if I want a season 2? Does it hurt you?
The way that guy flipped when he was being humiliated for such a prolonged period was masterclass performance.
"That guy" it's daniel 😑
Daniel Ings is not as well-known as the other two but I swear he’a real gem 😘😍
Underrated for sure. Lad’s been putting shifts in for the hammers, great work rate
Daniel is just as sexy as Theo. He's like the happy crush when you need a lift up 😍 Whereas, Theo is the man for every season though far from perfect.
I think we need a prequel on Susie Glass and how she handled the empire after her dad went to prison.

not sure. She was a bit 2dimensional for me, not sure if a more prominent role for her would work
I think it’s the best show on Netflix for a long time. I am still laughing at it. It’s too good
This scene is tensed n borderline insane and the fall was fking hilarious Daniel Ings deserves more credit
I loved how they gave Vinnie a chance for a more softer role ,but he still retained the hard man essence as well
It's funny how everyone considers this to be the ultimate humiliation, but it's just how I make a living on a daily basis.
underrated comment
Hahahaha shit
I think there’s a bit of this in everyone’s lives from time to time.
lol thats cool man. better then hard labor
Ummm ok do you have any work photos to share with the group?!!
Please Netflix I want season 2 one of the best series I have ever watched

Don’t forget the amazing Peter Serafinowicz! I can’t get ‘peck the worrrrrrms’ outta my mind, i just recite it multiple times during the day 😂
He's indeed amazing. His grandfather is a Nazi though and murdered children the sicko.
Brilliant acting by all
One of the best things Ritchie has done. And that includes Snatch.
OMG 😮this guy is unbelievable 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Such a talented actor ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Do you all remember THAT goat scene in Shadow and Bone?
Can we PLEASE bring back audio commentary tracks as bonus features???? Netflix I WILL pay extra for this!!!!
Kaya was so 😍😍😍😍
Great series and decent follow up to the fantastic movie also done by Guy of the same name
Guy Ritchie still makes the best Gangster Movies these days.
That scene was great simply how he lost it and it was worth everything hahaha
I like Kaya
It’s a great series hope they do a season two Daniel should be the next bond
Wow what a show only show in 2024 i binged watch so far❤❤❤👍👍👍
Best. Scene. EVER!
This was brilliant acting
Love these reactions
I JUST WANNA SEE
BIRDDDDDDD
Theo's laugh so cute
I beg for another season🙏🏻🙏🏻
I honestly hope that Eddie and Sussie in season 2 get together, because their chemistry is amazing.
Theo James I think is a good candidate for the new James Bond after this performance in my opinion.
My favorite part lol
I love the series and the chicken scene, hope there will be a season 2
Truly one of the best things on TV.
I NEED SZN 2 ASAP!
Make season 2 its great
I love this series 👏 I'm a Filipino and of course I anticipated what Geoff revealed 😅 that chicken 😅🤣🤣
This chicken scene is a masterpiece!! 👏👏👏🫶🏻
his acting is insane
I loved this series.
binged the whole thing, I want mooore. it was awesome
Kaya is so gorgeous.
Eddie is VERY tolerant to put up with that pain in the ass

I couldn’t watch this scene completely . I cried 😢
i watched the whole series was absolutely brilliant
Finished it in two days
Loved this scene
Such a crazy good scene! HAHA crazy fun!
Poultry in motion
Full poultry 😂😂😂😂
Im gutted there’s no continuation.
Loved it
This isn’t the movie of the gentlemen I’ve gotten the explanation about
Always wonder how many scenes taken to complete the chicken dance 😂
😂😂not the full poultry
Theo would be a great choice for Bond but, Daniel could give us something special as 007.
Show was epic
hey where's Peter?! :)
Top show 💵🥦
LOOK, ITSA WUURM
I hated Freddy
Gosh
How insufferable can one be
From one bad decision to the next 😂
Tom Ellis will be correct for this series
Just hated this scene. Intense and grim AF. that humiliation.. with the intense music and editing
❤❤😊
Didn't know Danny Ings could act
The chicken scene was so abdsurd
😊❤😊❤😊😊
