I've owned 3 911s and a cayman and I'd say your review is pretty accurate. That said I think one needs to drive an air cooled 911 to fully appreciate "what all the excitement is about". If you don't start grinning ear to ear at the first whir of the motor then you definitely aren't a 911 person. Nothing wrong with that, but its a very unique car that instills tremendous affection from its fans (of which I am one).

Hi there. Thank you for sharing your experience with 911. My father loved to drive Porsche 911 when he was young. So I am looking for a 997 porsche 911, but I don't know which trim I should go with. If you have a chance to get 997 911, which trim would you like to go? (Such as carrera s, turbo or so)
I'm really intrigued by the Carrera S. Little bit more powerful, still RWD. Feels like the most rounded package. If I had a higher budget, I'd go Turbo. I remember watching the Top Gear episode about the 997 Turbo and was just so impressed by its capabilities.
I went from an E92 M3 DCT to a 997 911S 6-Speed. Love both cars, I just never bonded with the M3. I also test drove a 911 3.6 base Carrera just like the car in this video and thought it was an "OK" car as well. The 3.8 S model with a few more extra HP and bigger brakes is worth it though.
You should drive a car little bit longer before making a review. You seem like the guy that will test drive a car from a dealership and then by only doing 5 miles
Short, to the point, and felt honest. Nice review!
Light front end feel is a signature characteristic of the 911. Gotta push hard on it to gain confidence.
It’s a very unique characteristic and I enjoyed that.

There's definitely something unique about the way a 911 puts down power in a sharp corner. Would love to try an air cooled one at some point!
Concise and honest. Keep it up! Also, love that you’re in the PNW. 😉 I recognize those roads.

@@ClutchKickOfficial Thank you!
Porsche are harder to modify for speed, so always get the highest power band you can afford. S or higher, turbo if you can afford.
whats with the music?
intelligent review, thanks
Appreciate it!
You do really good reviews. Let's see more
Really appreciate the feedback. Thank you! Will be doing more as soon as pandemic is over.
You should drive the BMW E-92 M3 from 2008-2012 and do a review about it. I have driven both the 911 and the E-92 M3 and now I own a 2009 M3!

Gotta plant the front with the brakes, guy..
So you prefer electronic steering? To each their own I say.
When did I say that? I literally never said that.
@@ClutchKickOfficial sorry.i think I responded to the wrong person. My ap
Good review but I just wish u would have drove it harder! It becomes a different car👍
Shughes Unfortunately this specific car had five year old, nearly bald Michelin Pilot Super Sports on it. Didn’t want to risk a blowout haha.
Clutch Kick oh 👌

Sean LeVere Just because I didn’t give the opinion you hoped for, doesn’t mean I didn’t drive it long enough.
Good honest review! I would like to see you review a gt350 Shelby !!!!
Shughes Glad you enjoyed it. I have some controversial thoughts about the GT350 so definitely will need to get my hands on one of those.
