Aww, we wish we were up there for the fan ride. We are talking about visiting family up there in July, and we will be looking for yall on the trails too lol. Think this area is where we will explore this year.
Just to reiterate: we’re meeting at Elfendahl Pass Staging Area (Tahuya ORV Park). GPS should pull it up. Be there in the parking lot around 10am. We’ll be trailering the Goat. We’ll finish at Mud Lake! See you then!
We will be meeting at Elfendahl Pass Staging Area (Tahuya ORV Park) in Tahuya, WA for the Meet&Greet Nov 7, 2020 at 10am. GPS should pull it up. We use Waze. Mud Lake is the finish line!! 🏁 Also bring 2-way Radios if you have them!!! Let me know if y’all need more info! ❤️🐞
Trail 55 and south loop looks like so much fun!!! All those rocks look so slick, not like the jagged limestone we have here in Texas. The Gray Goat performed Flawlessly and flexy as all hell ! Yall built a Great XJ! But by far my favorite part is yalls commentary back and forth! Yall are Hilarious!! "Plenty of room.....plenty of room....... wwwwooooooo...... you couldn't have missed that back tire anymore" HaHaHa Yall Rock!! GO OFFROADING ANY TIME! Plus Yall make me feel better, because I literally get lost every time I'm on the trail Ha Ha
LOL!! So glad you like our banter; it’s like you’re in the backseat with us 🤣 We’ll use this same trail for the Meet&Greet so we will get the Goat to go over all the rocks! 🐐💪 Can’t wait to see others conquer the trails too! 👍👊 Wish you could come 🙁❤️🐞
@@GoatOffroad One Day! I definitely could the ole Deathcharger fitting on those trails and all those slick rocks look like a blast! Hope Yall have a great time at the Meet and Greet and I can't wait to see the videos! and the Banter!! HaHa
Nice Video..The Cherokee can handle that trail with ease the way it's set-up now. Go for it. No Rock damage though. Have you watched Lite Brite Jeep channel ? They brutalized the sidewalls on their Milestar Patagonia where the sidewalls wrinkle over the rocks without any problems.
Yes, the Goat can do way more than I thought!! 🐐💪 We know Lite Brite! We will put our Milestars to the test next time 😉 I need more confidence in the Goat; I will with time ❤️🐞
Sad to see your favorite wheeling area cut out and changed. Northern Colorado burned last summer and all my favorite trails are now gated and locked due to "unsafe conditions"... I tell ya, Tillamook Oregon is a shining example of a good logging, planting and regrowth cycles. They even have signs that date the year they were replanted. Really a cool story of the Tillamook burn too and how it grew back after the fires. Teraflex has a great video on UA-cam that did a great job of telling the story during the 2017 Jeep Jamboree several years ago. I will leave a link as a reply below.
Id be interested in coming but have a 92 ext cab k1500 with 33s and a rear locker, I did the last trail before mud lake in the video with the log in the hole next to the big rock but it was dry out. Not sure how it'd be in the rain
That’d be tough. Do you have a winch? Weather looks like it’s going to get real cold that weekend. Not sure about the rain. But weather is hardly correct 10 days out. But your Chevy might be too big for the trails 🙁
@@GoatOffroad I just put my winch on a few weeks ago, haven't had to use it yet. I've only been to tahuya once. It was a tight fit for sure but I made it down everything I tried, very easy to get lost out there so I'm not sure which trails exactly we went down

Tacoma’s tear it up out at Tahuya!! Check out my ‘New Trails’ video- that’s the West Loop at Tahuya where they’ve recently opened the gate. Whole new playground out there!
So wish you could come!!!! We’re going back out there tomorrow to make sure we know how to navigate the trails correctly (without getting lost 🤪) Supposed to be a beautiful weekend here. Thinking of you and TomCat ❤️🐞

It has 4.88 gears on 32” tires. The travel time is almost 2 hours. In case anything breaks, tires blows, etc. it’s nice to have the tilt trailer. Plus the truck is so comfortable 🤣
You know that's where I go out and ride my ride my side-by-side out there next time I see you out there I'm going to have to freaking take you for a rip and I'll show you a four-wheelers really about
😂 are you trying to tell me that what I’m doing doesn’t qualify as “real 4-wheel’n”? 😂 I love sxs too! Please watch my most recent videos at Elbe to see how we’re gaining confidence in the Grey Goat. And definitely watch my next video (coming soon) where we tackled 12 foot rocks at Reiter! Amazing! Check out my Instagram at goat_offroad_ to see a snapshot of the rock climbing 🐐💪 #goatstrong 😎

Absolutely!! This is open year round and has trails for all levels of rigs 👍
Looks like fun! I haven't been out to Tahuya in about 10 years, back when it was still being expanded. See you there next Saturday!

You're right about the camera never showing the depth. I was on a precarious angle, took a picture and it looked like a two inch molehill.
Right!!! Those rocks did not look intense at all and I promise they were!!! 🤣
