Just picked up the MC9 LS, the grip situation seems to be fine. Will be shooting this weekend. This is my 7th Canik and they have all performed well. Cheers...
Definitely take it all the way. I was eyeing this and after what I heard about the regular mc9 it has me pent up on if it's worth it. But I sure do think is a good Pistol. Id hate if it made me want to change my edc
Def 1000 rounds, especially with your accuracy, loved hearing those plinks! Have been looking at the Micro 9 market the last month. Not liking the MC9's backstrap/mag gap (same as my TP9SC Elite), I was going to snag a Shield+ or HC... so glad this dropped. I just got my MC9L Saturday, hoping to hit the range tomorrow. Thanks for the review, Sub'd.
Not to mention you can also swap slides with the original frame or put the LS Slide on the L's Frame. It's all compatible which I did think was pretty nice.
@@averagemarksman Well that's what I get for watching the videos out of order. Just saw your unboxing where you mentioned the slide swapping, my bad Nick. Great work man. See ya tomorrow.
People seem to enjoy seeing every round that's fired through the gun and it provides an in depth look into any issues that happen with the gun. Just working towards finding a bit of balance for the channel.
Thanks for the video. MC9 size is good but was very stiff and had to polish the feed ramp for reliability the taylor freelance brass back strap is amazing not sure it works with this bigger grip though. You got to find other vendors for ammo sir; I get 23ish cents delievered regularly be well.
The Canik has more initial travel. Both triggers have a firm wall and same 4.5-5 lb pull weight. The reset on the Canik is half the distance of the Shield Plus. Let’s see what it looks like after 500 rounds but as of now the Canik trigger is great.
I had a terrible time with the original mc9. After 100 rounds I couldn’t get through a magazine without having a failure to feed. Please do a 1000 round review. Want to see if they fixed it.
If it makes you feel any worse I have about 1200 rounds thru my mc 9 no issues thank goodness. Just being a prick. lol. Sorry you had issues with yours.
@@averagemarksman I'm expecting none. I've had zero issues with my Mete SFX or TP9 SC Elites (x2)... Canik got hammered with the original batch of MC9's (magwell a bit too thin, etc). I would imagine a bit more testing and quality control went into this initial batch of L & LS variants.
@@cohoonatube I’d agree. I think they have learned a lot from various QC issues over the years. I’ve been hard on them about it in the past but the initial shots went extremely well.
@@averagemarksmanThis question for some reason reminds me of the tootsie pop commercial! How many licks? Ha. That’s awesome. I have been eyeballing the MC9L. I have high hopes for it!!
Great unboxing and range review.👍 I came very close to getting the previous version of the MC9 when I decided I wanted to replace my Hellcat. I chose the familiarity of a hammer fired trigger in the end, but those MC9's are nice, and Canik gives you a lot in the box.🫡
Definitely 1000 round review
@@jasonramsey8518 we will make it happen.

I would love to see a 1,000 round review ! Please I want one !!!!
Thanks for watching and commenting. We will put 1000 through it and see what happens.
Keep it going! Lets hit 1,000.
Thanks for the support!
After the Springfield,
the pressure is on.!
Nice gun
Lets take it to 1000.
Let’s see how it does in the first 500 and how the feedback for goes for those videos.
I think you need to do 1000 rounds
I agree but we will see how the feedback goes on the first 500 and make a decision based on how much support we receive.
I'm very interested in the canik mc9L. This was a great honest review.Thank you.

Just subscribed. Awesome content. Would like to see a 1,000 round test.

Man I bought mines today 250 rounds through it no problems. Definitely shot it better than my m&p
Which m&p ?
@@KevShots713 m&p 2.0-4.25 original one
Great video let's see 1000 rounds!
We will see how the feedback goes over the course of the first 500 and make a decision on going to 1000. Thanks for watching.
You can do it!!!
Nick, Shooting great so far. I would like to see how it does with a 1000 rounds. Have a beautiful and blessed night. LORD GOD Bless and stay vigilant.
Thanks, sir. You too.

@@averagemarksman With fully compatible mags, hard to choose otherwise! They just need to add one with a Rival trigger and Tritium :D.

Good stuff....., glad it had a good start!
Go 1000 💯👍👍
Seems to be what people want to see.
Gotta get some cameras on the targets
Agreed. One day.
1000
Maybe you should do 250 and then 1000. Skip the 100, 200, 300, and 400, 500, etcetera videos. Keep up the good work, just work smarter

I’d love to see the 1k but I get it, ammo prices are high
If we can get enough comments and subscribers from the video series we will continue to 1000.
I have a shield plus and i been looking at this since it came out 😂

I like to buy the ammo from the local business. Always nice to have a quality FFL nearby and we have to keep them in business.
Definitely do a 1000 round review
Seems to be the popular choice. We will see how the series goes.
@@averagemarksman also do a comparison video between this mc9L vs shield plus !
Nice guns. Which gun made a greater positive impression on you: xd mod3 or mc9 L?
Short answer - MC9L. The full grip really made a big difference compared to the previous version.
🎯 how does the trigger compare to the shield Plus?🔫 I own to shield plus big Smith & Wesson and canik fan
