Ms. Shelley made one of the best points . God did tell us the end from the beginning. Before evolution came in the 1850s all of the protestant churches :Methodist Baptist Lutherans... taught openly that we would have 6000 years here on earth and 1000 years in heaven. And what was their biblical basis for that belief? Isaiah 46:10, Exodus 20: 9-10 , Genesis 2:17 Second Peter 3:8 And you always hear people say ,"oh nobody knows when the end is ," Yet Jesus instructed his people to watch for the signs that they would know when it was near. In fact , he told them to be alert for if the servant knew the house was going to be robbed he would stay up and not let it be broken into. Yet all the virgins slept , both wise and foolish. Just like the disciples were asleep during part of the transfiguration. Lack of faith perhaps? So the latter rain must fall : people must study prepare and get the Holy Spirit's refreshing influence to be able to withstand what's coming. How does the devil know he has such a short time to work? (Rev.12:12) he was there when it was all created he knows God's promise of 6000 years here. Christ created it all ;he also knows when it was created. So how is it , that the Father is the only one that knows the day and the hour? It's a promise he made: His covenant with the saints. Matthew 24:22.. For the elects sake he will cut the time short.

I can only base my reply on what Christ himself said Matthew 24:36. And since Christ is the way and the TRUTH I know he would not tell me something unless it was fact . Just a question I would like to put out there for what it's worth. If Daniel 's visions of the world powers /history parallels those of John in Revelation why wouldn't the verse 45 person or power of Daniel chapter 11 parallel the lamb like creature of Revelation 13 ? (especially if the "tabernacles of the palaces " translates embassy. ) Aren't we told that the Sunday Law will pass and shortly after that probation will close? Doesn't probation close when Michael stands up? And also , the early pioneers associated verse45 directly with Michael standing up and probation closing. Interesting in light of the recent events in the US isn't it?
Since these lessons started this quarter I have wondered how your panel would interpret Daniel 11:45. In The Review and Herald James White Advised to handle that verse just the way you did. He said that should things not turn out exactly as we confidently expected it would be better if we waited till the event happens since in time prophecy will reveal itself . The interpretation that Turkey will be the one to place it's "tents" near Jerusalem between the Mediterranean and Dead Seas as proposed by Uriah Smith could still happen and even today makes a lot of sense. But,even Uriah Smith Commented in his original book that should time drag on this might change,but with the information he had in that day Turkey was the obvious choice. I can get that quote from the original book and give it to anybody that wants it and the White quote as well. But recently I've been talking with some historians and anthropologist who have an even new take on that verse, One that might surprise people but shouldn't be ignored. They have been telling me that the word used there for tabernacles is not Hebrew . Daniel actually used the Persian word for a temporary throne or a temporary government like the tents that were set up at Shushan (Susa) . They say that the only thing that fits that description in today's terminology is Embassy. That being the case we should take seriously this current Presidency. What is one of the biggest accomplishments according to the President himself. Yes, the US Embassy buildings in Jerusalem. Though things look great right now , he didn't get impeached, coming to your end in biblical terms can include sickness or actual removal . Personally ? I'm not suggesting any one proposed fulfillment is correct. I'm simply throwing it out there for what it's worth and telling people WAKE UP it's even at the door 🚪. It isn't time to celebrate , yet! You want it to end ? Then get busy there's work to do wether it's personal preparations or going out there and getting the message out. The angels watching Jesus go back to heaven said it this way ,"why do you stand there gazing ?" The same Jesus is coming back , but He gave us work to do. Work for the night is coming.

The king James version Bible is on the third grade level the new international version is on an eighth grade level which do you think God would approve? Talking above people's heads doesn't even follow Christ's example. Back to : this chapter is not so complicated it takes a rocket scientist to understand it. God wrote this for the common people who have no trouble with prayer discerning truth for their time. 175 years have passed plus or minus since the fulfillment of chapter 44 who says verse 45 has to be related to the rest of it. The pioneers thought so in their day but as James White pointed out in a Review and Herald article Nov . 29,1877 we should never be too positive with ourselves on unfulfilled prophecies ,since God will reveal them in His time
Melanie Kipe I think you missed the point of the video. By identifying the papacy and islam in verse 29-30, we know the identities of the Kong’s in the later verses. Also, verse 40 wasn’t fulfilled in 1844 where it says the time of the end, because it isn’t the end yet!

How can this be the Papacy when: 11:37 No regards to any god (Papacy claims to honour god) 11:38 Worships god of force (Not true of papacy) and papacy is worshiping god of father took on many different religions 11:40 Ships horsemen etc King of south and north coming against papacy never happened 11:41 Entering Glorious land papacy never did 11:42 Going to Egypt papacy never did also verse 43 Libyans ect. Great questions, the only problem is when you respond with out doing your own research, you will argue for what the panel says because it may speak against what you know. Its always best to not feel bias to what you believe but seek the truth with the Help of the Holy Spirit. Only He will guide you to that truth.
It can't be the papacy because in verse 45 the power comes to its end and the papacy does not come to its end until the fifth plague in Revelation 16:10-11. However we do know who the powers are . In verse 37 through 43 it's Napoleon during the French Revolution of 1798. Verse 44 is the Crimean war of 1853 to 1856 as predicted accurately by Josiah Litch. The only verse not fulfilled ,even according to the church commentaries from the 1950's , is verse 45 which is closely connected with the close of probation and the Sunday Law.
@@Heavensoon7 pardon me, but where do get ur source information and verse 45 of chapter 11 is clear to mention "Neither shall he desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all..." you only can understand that context if you have read the whole book with its context with the characters it symbolizes. But however it so I still think 🤔 only as it speaks against what you know you are likely to argue against what you already believe. Only when you will be free to take time to listen to others view with evidence that's not biased will you be able to see the greater picture. I pray you do find that information or look for the book "The great controversy", it should help you look at History more accurately and the Encyclopedia Britannica of church history.. Daniel 11:45 says that a world power will end just before probation closes. 2 Thessalonians 2 says that a world power will be destroyed at the coming of Jesus. The end of probation and the second coming occur at different times. So, the powers in Daniel 11:45 and 2 Thessalonians 2 must be different.

Melanie Kipe I think you missed the point of the video. By identifying the papacy and islam in verse 29-30, we know the identities of the Kong’s in the later verses. Also, verse 40 wasn’t fulfilled in 1844 where it says the time of the end, because it isn’t the end yet!

11:37 No regards to any god (Papacy claims to honour god)
11:38 Worships god of force (Not true of papacy) and papacy is worshiping god of father took on many different religions
11:40 Ships horsemen etc King of south and north coming against papacy never happened
11:41 Entering Glorious land papacy never did
11:42 Going to Egypt papacy never did also verse 43 Libyans ect.

Great questions, the only problem is when you respond with out doing your own research, you will argue for what the panel says because it may speak against what you know. Its always best to not feel bias to what you believe but seek the truth with the Help of the Holy Spirit. Only He will guide you to that truth.
It can't be the papacy because in verse 45 the power comes to its end and the papacy does not come to its end until the fifth plague in Revelation 16:10-11. However we do know who the powers are . In verse 37 through 43 it's Napoleon during the French Revolution of 1798. Verse 44 is the Crimean war of 1853 to 1856 as predicted accurately by Josiah Litch. The only verse not fulfilled ,even according to the church commentaries from the 1950's , is verse 45 which is closely connected with the close of probation and the Sunday Law.
@@Heavensoon7 pardon me, but where do get ur source information and verse 45 of chapter 11 is clear to mention "Neither shall he desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all..." you only can understand that context if you have read the whole book with its context with the characters it symbolizes. But however it so I still think 🤔 only as it speaks against what you know you are likely to argue against what you already believe. Only when you will be free to take time to listen to others view with evidence that's not biased will you be able to see the greater picture. Daniel 11:45 says that a world power will end just before probation closes. 2 Thessalonians 2 says that a world power will be destroyed at the coming of Jesus. The end of probation and the second coming occur at different times. So, the powers in Daniel 11:45 and 2 Thessalonians 2 must be different.
