Understand, I not only seek to offer you solutions... in fact solutions are not what I what I intent to offer here at all. It is PERSPECTIVE that I try to offer, a way of seeing things that you may not have otherwise considered. When YOU can see, what need is there for a solution? Now that you can see, just open your eyes and go. Awareness is transformative in itself.

I've been feeling like shit for the past few days. I was on the path to making positive changes in my life, but somehow got caught up in old patterns of self destructive behavior which left me not only psychologically, but also physically distressed. Elliott your video helped a ton as usual. I totally need to lose my old self and stop trying to serve a lifestyle that's in opposition to my goals. I will commit to mediation and listening to your videos for 1-2 hours per day for at least 90 days and I believe that will help me start to once again make the changes in my life that I know are necessary for me to become the strongest version of myself. Hopefully I reach my goal one day. Thank you for your support, wisdom and encouragement. You're not just a mentor your a friend!!

Whenever life comes down on me and I am in a rut I take a step back and look At my vision for what I want to achieve.
I then ask me if what I am doing right now is mandatory for me to accomplish my goal.
If it isn't then I'll scrap it.
Focusing on the core things have helped me to be productive but yet creative and full of life!

You're talking about submission, we must submit as the sun and the moon, we are not bigger than stars. Everything around us is submitted to the will and the power of God, the creater, that's what I believe. I like your words Mr Hulse, they reflect what I believe. Submit and you will be stronger.

Matthew 6:26 I have it on my wall, have for years.
Worrying leads to stress and stress leads to immobility.
I watch people recovering from injury, learning to walk again.
I think, yes, as is so popular "Stay calm, move along"
It's the tiny steps daily that become leaps into the future. So stay in the moment, keep the best pace you can. You won't be measured by your worth in gold but in the distance you've traveled. I always say softly "this will pass" "I will overcome"
Life is not one long ride to somewhere, but "moments to anywhere"
The one blessing I have is wonderment.
We all have a row to hoe a cross to bear.
I watch animal videos and mimic them when I'm really stressed.
My cat was my best yoga instructor.
It's all balance and steady progression with some silly downtime thrown in with good company.
    Hoe the row bro.
    Tks

I just typed in "finding yourself" and saw that you had this video. I listened to what you had to say and I'll try my best to take what you say and apply it to myself. I feel lost alot of times and I'm just trying to "go with it." It's hard, but I know I have to go thru it to make myself stronger as a person. I'm just trying to "find my way."

"Let the youthful soul look back on life with the question: what have you truly loved up to now, what has drawn your soul aloft, what has mastered it and at the same time blessed it? Set up these revered objects before you and perhaps there nature and their sequence will give you a law, a fundamental law of your true self. Compare these objects one with another, see how one completes, expands, surpasses, transfigures another, how they constitute a stepladder upon which you have clambered up to yourself as you are now; for your true self lies, not concealed deep within you, but immeasurably high above you, or at least above that which you usually take yourself to be..." I love how Elliot presents us with his stories and metaphors as a means of communicating these incredible tools for life. Its so difficult to communicate with symbols as flat as language. Some people try to communicate with art and poems. But I feel Elliots consistent delivery of easily understandable, clear metaphors, makes it easy for anyone with an open mind to find light in these ideas.
I would also like to add, thankyou Elliot. You are the one who started my journey.

And all the studies around salah prove that it prevents all the stress in life and restoring your energy.

  • @gapolente7

This was a beautiful video, and you hit all of these points head on. I've been in many of those situations (just like anyone else) where I believed my problems were unique and nobody understood me. And it's VERY true, we really make all these small "negative" things compound to something so big, when in actuality, they're nothing! Meditation and the practices that reinforce it's potential has woken me up to who I am, why I am here, how I can serve people where they're at in their stages of development, and the limitless strength that comes along with LETTING GO. For anyone following you through your videos, I say this: Listen to what this man is saying! You've hit the nail on the head, and it's such an inspiration seeing many other people who are becoming LEADERS discover the one simple thing necessary to change everything! It certainly won't be easy, but I've seen some of your videos a while back, and from seeing where you are now, it's clear that this path has enabled you to grow into a much stronger version of yourself. I honor you, and I thank you for sharing this wonderful content. Continue to inspire!

Great speech! Two things that you made this presentation outstanding: (1) Before anything changes, there's got to be pressure and (2) Letting go, or being aware of what's happening, but also learning to adapt to the change. The other analogy was that "it is better to swim downstream (wherever life takes you) than to swim upstream (where you resist and clench things from happening). Let go. Great video.

This vid came into my life when i was having a really hard time. It was a pivotal point in becoming the strongest version of myself. Allowing is naturally a feminine trait yet its one a lot of women struggle with because the fear of losing control can mess your head up. Its day by day. Im working on not getting tossed around in the tornado. i had lost my job and was freaking out about rent. I started meditating and not focusing on it and...resolution came. I got another job had and had other challenges started freaking out and its been a nightmare...so i rewatch this vid to remind me. Its all in the process, let go and take time to go within.

I think you need a slogan for this channel and if I my I would like to offer my own. For your strength camp channel it was " become the strongest version of yourself". For this one you should use " become the BEST version of yourself". I hope you see this and use it.

True my friend we need to be in the NOW in the PRESENT and be aware of what's happening NOW. Everything changes but change itself.
