Olá Roberto! Sou recém chegado em Portugal e vi que há algumas restrições sobre acampamento selvagem, mas em todas as situações estavam referindo-se a camping em vans ou carros. Qual é a realidade da situação para acampar em Portugal? Obrigado!
I always go with the second approach, Being Discreet, no matter where, I don't trust anyone, at all, mostly because even the person is trustworthy, it may comment with other people who can be assholes, which then will go bother you at night. Pine needles can wreck your tent, they will pierce it very easily just with yout weight pressing down. You can't use inflatables at all. Thanks for sharing your experience.
how big of a deal is it, if people spot you doing wild camping, since its illegal in portugal? how big is the risk of getting fined if caugt or will authorities leave you with a warning? also do you think is really necessary to hide away your food (in a tree) from animals in portugal?
There is no warning just a big fine and the order to move out, and if you resistente you will pass the night in prison. Just one more thing if you do a fire camp then you will to justice court. The portuguese are sick off wild fires and if they see someone doing a wild camo you will have a visit from the police or similar.

Nunca levei para um trilho e, provavelmente nunca vou levar, visto o tamanho daquilo 😂 mas tenho essa duvida já que é uma fogueira mas contida
Oi Roberto! Feliz de te encontrar! Eu estou querendo ir para o Geres mês que vem e fazer estes camping selvagens, mas vi que em Portugal é proíbido (??) e estou um pouco insegura de ser multada! Como foi isso pra ti?
A meu ver a lei foi concebida para coibir camping próximo a locais turísticos e por períodos prolongados. Mas é claro que são mal escritas e se acaba caindo na interpretação subjectiva de algum agente fiscalizador. Eu evitaria finais de semana, e montaria o acampamento seguindo essas dicas do Roberto, apenas para o pernoite e seguir no dia seguinte. Enjoy.

Legalmente é ilegal e se te apanham pagas multa mas se fores responsável e estiveres demasiado longe da população ninguém costuma chatear
