CAN I DO IT THE SAME IN MY 508 1.6 BLUE HDI ? THEY SUGGEST TO REPLACE WHOLE BEARING BUT i WANT TO REMOVE IT AND FIND MAGNETIC RING ONLY TO REPLACE CORRODED ONE ,MY BEARING IS OK NOT SURE IF I CAN GET CORRECT SIZE Did your ring had any teeth ?

It was a plain magnetic ring. I am not sure about 508 but should be the same process.
