YouLEAD Ukranian Youth Exchange

Jamie Verbrugge introduced us to the Ukrainian Youth Exchange several years ago. Here are the 2022 Ukrainian Youth Exchange students at Bloomington Civic Plaza with him.
YouLEAD stands for Youth Leadership Engagement
and Development Program. The program provides the
opportunity for 30 Ukrainian teens from across the country to spend five weeks in Minnesota to learn and grow as future leaders. Ukrainian participants will be engaged in intensive learning, building relationships and creating partnerships with Minnesota Youth and community organizations, Minnesota local governments and schools, and the Minnesota Ukrainian community.
Richard Fursman will join us to share about this year’s group and their plans. Heisan Organization Development and Change expert. He has helped hundreds of organizations develop and implement strategy by facilitating discussions and aligning strategy with action planning, He has worked with local governments in both the USA and Ukraine. Heisan Adjunct Faculty at the University of St. Thomas where he earned his Doctorate degree. He is co-founder of Global Synergy Group, a 501(c)3 helping to organize the ex- change..
