Thanks for the video guys, I've started watching all your uploads and sometimes my wife watches with me.
There's two whole angles to these pat and hannah vids and they both appeal to me, theres the technical instruction and explanations of the riding which is awesome. Then there's watching the journey of a woman who's joining her husband (a pro level mototrials champ) in a passion of his own.
It's so nice to see that hannah is really enjoying learning new skills and also nice to see a couple outdoors spending time together doing something fun.

Loving your videos. Seeing you get it no matter what kind of bike is really cool. Also seeing you and your wife sessioning together is nice as opposed to some of the "flare" out there.

Pat, So many great tricks performed by Hannah and you, but the one that takes the cake for determination and strive for perfection was the one you tasked yourself with (because you doubted you could do it) to reward Hannah for her challenge commitments: 10:28 "The Footjam Whip to Megadrop"!! Thanks to both of you for keeping me entertained and inspired! Even though Hannah is no match for you, she can still kick my ass! I like the spousal role play she takes by specifying your chores & challenges ;-)

Hey Pat Smage and Hanna Smage! What you are doing is impossible! Haven't you heard the naysayers tell you that fat tires are too big and heavy to do trials riding???? Thanks for following the laws of physics instead of the laws of skeptics! Ride ride ride!
Haha oh yeah I still get the normal fatbike comments here and there, but I just try to show they can be fun just about anywhere.

Thanks for watching! Some stuff is actually easier on the fatbike surprisingly, it’s all about learning how to make the most of how a bike works. Fun to try to figure out!

I am actually not sure, guessing somewhere around 30lbs.
So... were you looking for a way for Hannah to practice static balance, or was that just an added plus?
Just a bonus really since her normal balance is pretty good but hopping in and out of balancing is what she was working on improving more. Never a bad thing to practice!

Is Hannah riding a wtb 29+ front wheel?
I’d love to see it! She is running a 27.5+ front wheel.
@@PatSmage my wife hates how heavy her Kona wo is, so maybe this 27+ upgrade is the key.
Derek Coates it’s a good option to have and does change the bikes feel quite a bit. Definitely noticeable weight savings especially on climbs. She is running 27.5+ on the front and rear right now and likes it. I think Fatback has a lighter set than these wtb ones that I have thought about upgrading to but these do the trick for now.
