I don't think he really needs to say what the exhaust setup is. The CA18DET is basically an RB26DETT with 2 cylinders lopped off which is why it sounds so good. They sound amazing with almost any exhaust setup.

What's the mic/recorder setup here. Trying to get something for my track days that doesn't peak my Olympus microphone. Going to try a Rode VideoMicro next month, but am exploring using the Zoom H1 w/ either mics mentioned to possible help control the high dB SPL through the Zoom device itself as i was told i can correct the peaking through it.

I have a CA18DET 180SX with custom exhaust, dump all ceramic coated, aeroplane cat and a Kakimoto exhaust. It's super quiet to it hits boost then has a nice burble. Your car sounds nice but needs some tweaks overall a 7/10. 👍
