What's up Ahntourage! Today, we're checking out the cheapest motorized standing desk on the market - the Flexispot EC1-48. At only $280, I check out what they're able to offer and what corners they had to cut to get their price so low compared to other motorized standing desks. I'm also checking out their MonitorStand Workstation. I'd love to know what you guys think - would you be willing to pay $270 for this desk or $130 for the monitor stand? Do you think they cut too many corners to get their price low? And are you guys fans of disinfecting using UV rays?

Solid review. Interesting insight on monitor ergonomics. I'm a 5'7 and enjoy monitor stands, most likely because I have a bad habit of tilting my chin down. When I use a monitor stand or wall mount my monitor a bit higher than is recommended my chin is in a better position. A standing desk will definitely be in the next desk purchase. Enjoying the content.

That’s so interesting..I mean I guess there are lower monitor stands out there, but with most monitors, they’re almost at the perfect height for me when I have my feet flat on the floor at a 90 degree angle, so never understood how someone could have monitors that high without causing neck pain!

I know this was done 3 years ago, but by chance did you test the wobble without the casters? You had also stated you used a non flexispot caster...could that have caused the wobble? Thanks.

Yeah...I'm still working on the quality side of the house...hard to nail down the color if I'm working with bright screens but dark rooms

How did it go? Did you go with this flexispot? Is the wobble obvious with light weight?
@@chunich got and returned it. Came missing pieces so I didn't end up assembling it. I ended up coughing up the dough for a Varidesk. 20 minute assembly and no wobble at max height (I'm 6'5) Seems cheaper brands are hit or miss and returning these desks is annoying!

Remember the msi gs65 sealth? Well... i changed the position of my bed and now i can get a big desk. That means i can have and build my very first pc. Im searching for a desk now and afther the pc. I am thinking of a msi b450 gaming plus max atx motherboard with a ryzen 5 3200, rtx 2060 super. Can somebody say if its worth it?
Of course it's new news but now I hope you're waiting for the RTX 3070. Going to be a bit more than the 2060 Super in price but should be well worth the value if you haven't bought a card yet
Hi, How bad do you think the shaking will be if I used a sturdier solid wood desktop instead of the particle board offering?
Hey Arun, so I demonstrated in the video that weight isn't the issue - the legs are. With more weight, it got more wobbly. So a sturdier top wouldn't change that.
Grabbed this desk for $180 cause Amazon only site I know that prices by color? the rest for $250+, hopefully it comes undamaged thanks for the review even if old.
I am 5 '3" and have cubital tunnel syndrome. The goal for getting the flexispot EC1-48" desk was to help me with the condition since i have to continuous long hours in-front of the screen. Since the height of the desk minimum to 25" it doesn't provides me the neutral position. I have been using extra cushions on the chair to increase the height and foot rest too. However my condition has got only worst. I reached out to the flexispot however they gave me the standard response that I am no longer eligible for returns since i have past 30 days. I don't recommend this product.
That stinks to hear, but why not request a refund within the 30 day limit? Also, I think the specs on the site show the minimum height somewhere around 27" if I remember correctly. I recommend in the future that if a product isn't exactly what you want when you get it, return it immediately or keep the return window in mind while testing so you can request a return in time to avoid situations like this! I can't image what cubital tunnel syndrome must feel like and that really sucks!!
