About Chainfight:
Chainfight is a hardcore/metal band from Bangkok, Thailand, formed in 2023. The idea for the band came from a conversation between Twish (bass) and Pratchaya (vocals), who both shared a passion for the hardcore sound of the early 2000s. This led them to create a new band that would bring back the energy and rawness of that era. Soon after, Jeeraset (guitar) and Akekaphong (drums) joined to complete the lineup.
In 2024, Chainfight released their self-titled debut EP, "Chainfight", under Holding On Records in Thailand. Their music is heavily inspired by classic hardcore bands from the 2000s, with a mix of heavy metal influences, creating a sound that is both intense and melodic. Expect powerful riffs, anthemic choruses, and a relentless rhythm section that will appeal to fans of New York hardcore and bands like Merauder.
