I had a pair of these circa 1977.
The design I had was not the same ,possibly a later version?
The crossover was mounted on its own board with just the same 1st order inductor for the woofer, but ferrite cored, and the 2nd order tweeter circuit contained a 4.7uF cap, much less than the 12uF, plus the inductor to ground which was also ferrite cored, and I think 0.6mH.
My ABR did not have any enclosure around it.
I have to say that I found them very dull and lacking in mid range presence, so I began altering the crossovers to try and improve the sound, but I never got very far.
I put it down to the woofer which sounded muffled and lacking in any sparkle or projection.
It was expected to operate up to 2.4 khz which I think was the crossover point.
Best of luck with a new crossover design ,and you have the measuring equipment to get the best out of them.

Going by your description you might have the later version which used the hf1000 tweeter. That couldn't play low hence the different cap value on the tweeter. The clarity issue with a woofer playing up in to the mid range would probably be because of the use of iron core inductors. I can't tell you how much this smears to sound. People blindly replace capacitors because they can read the values on them but ignore the inductors because test gear is needed to get the values. The inductors are just as important. More so on the woofers in a 2way design. Hopefully we can make a decent pair of speakers out of this lot 🙏

    Hi 👋
Some of the early 15’s have bitumen damping panels inside.. couldn’t see on yours?
Best upgrade for these is make them 100% air tight.
Don’t mess with the internal foam, it’s easy to mess up how the PBR works.
I’ll be interested how poly caps sound on HF1300’s!?

Not a fan at all of bass radiators. They always cause suck out on the frequency response before and after the tuning frequency. Should be interesting though. There a nice size so hopefully they'll be winners 🏆

@@haycrossaudio5474 the 15 was an effort to get more bass over the 1964 Ditton 10 15ohm.
I actually prefer the 15ohm 10 personally, not to be confused with the later 8ohm 10’s.
On the baffle should be a date stamp.
Number and two letters, if you can read it? Let me know and I’ll date them exactly for you.

I can see 20B. Could be 2OB? The cap had a date of Jan 1973 on it but that was know doubt made before

Let’s assume the caps were new, so 70’s pair
