Appreciate the love, man.. In the beginning stages of my podcast, I would end up shaving off roughly 10 minutes of dead air! Doing that manually took me FOREVER! Glad you found it useful!
Hi Nick, Thanks for your tutorials. Your video is great. Can you recommend a camera name or brand which you're using? The quality of this video is impressive.
Thank you so much, Minh! Really appreciate the kind words! 😁 I used my Sony A6400 for this video. It's a pretty pricey camera, and although I love it, I don't think it's entirely necessary. I've actually resorted to using the camera on my phone for a lot of my short-form videos and can get some pretty amazing quality out of that as well. There are even webcam apps you can download that allow you to use your phone's camera for this very purpose! Hope this helps! 🔥
Great video. You made it sound very easy to do. Now, it's time to put it to the test. :) Just like you I spend 4-8 hours editing a 45-60min audio. Been looking for tips like this. Thanks!
Hey Nick, great video. Thank you for the tips. As a freelance audio producer, I love discovering what others are doing to help cut down my editing time. You're right; we are our own worse critics. I would spend hours removing verbal filler. Appreciate the help, and happy editing!
Yes, it will! I use separate audio files for both my guest and my own audio, and then the "delete silence" removes everything in sync so you aren't going back through and have to manually sync everything back up!
Dude thank you so much Silence delete feature has been a life saver. The best tip I've ever seen for me.
That's awesome, glad it helped! That one is definitely a gamechanger for me as well! 🔥
Oh my gosh, Nick! You just saved me so much time! Thank you!
Thanks so much Nick!
Absolutely, Joy! If you have any other questions or would like to see other videos, let me know! 😊
Reducing production time is crucial! These are really good tips, especially tip 1 to find a way to automatically remove deadspace - huge time saver.

You got it, Amz! Glad this was helpful!.. If you have issues or any other questions, feel free to reach out :)
Is there a faster way to denoise heavy breaths? I’m not trying to remove them. Just want to minimize them

Hey Anthony! Thank you so much for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the video 😁
you are absolutely right!
Great tips!
Really appreciate that Lara! Which one was most helpful for you?
It took me way too long too! Part of the reason I never got back to it. But love these tips. Thank you.
Luckily it doesn't HAVE to be that way! Glad you enjoyed the tips! :)
Will the delete silence work when you are working on a multtitrack with more than one speaker or would it just make their responses out of sync?

Shorten silence doesn't work for me, I only have the option to delete silence
