- With the stab changes in the upcoming chivalry 2 update the messer might take the crown once again as the commonly regarded best weapon in chivalry 2. In todays chivalry 2 gameplay I am using the Messer in first person and go on a wild kill streak in team objective mode. What a chiv 2 gameplay,

The halberd will continue to be king. The spear will continue to be king. The Messer will be at best equal, same with the GS.
Messer still #1 in duel as it will continue to be.
@@sunderkeenin heavy mace/2h hammer are the best duel weapons.
@@lorenzopaci3945 Heavy Mace only matched and beat out Messer when it had the full 20% stam negation. The 2hh is a simply inferior heavy mace and is just worse than messer. The Heavy Mace has a quite even matchup, but it's just not the same kind of universal as the messer and does technically have bad matchups(maul vanguard) unlike messer.

You'd be shocked at how often I get a vote kick thrown up. The usual reason is, "cheating." The worst part is, their attempts succeed sometimes due to all the auto yes replies to the kick attempt. Always fun to get punished for doing well.

I actually had my steam account falsely banned for "Cheating" and I know it was just an organized reporting effort by a clan that I was F'ng up one day. I have tried to get it repealed to no avail so I'm stuck with my epic account.

Always sucks to be kicked for doing well. I've been kicked from multiple duel servers right as im about to win cause people don't want the map to change lol. Once seen the top 5 in one match get kicked one by one lol

Executioner Axe is pretty good. Been doing rather well with it the past several days.
A lot of times when I'm playing TO, I notice that my entire team wont go anywhere near the obj, and that every 1v10 death camera I see my whole team quite literally just hiding behind me, watching me die. Then I press tab, after noticing how quickly we just lost the first two objectives, and I see some total trash bag who has habitually made a 500 level career out of farming the back field, killing all the people I soften up. He'll be the highest one on the board, but I WONT SEE HIM SAVING MY ASS ON THE FRONT LINE EVER, never once. Content to lose every match so long as he is the highest one on the defeat board.
K/D farmers that let their team lose while they keep their entire team between them and the objective make me absolutely sick and I always vote kick just to show my disgust. Unfortunately the average player is wayyyy too stupid to recognize this and attributes it to jealousy. Or doesn't understand why I want to kick the guy with 700 ping on my team.
I threw up a guy with a literally 1000 ping, a 1000!!!. I didn’t even know it would go that high. It dropped to 500 or so about halfway through. Full lobby and he didn’t get kicked. It’s pretty much random unless you have buddy’s to swing it
Absolute agreement with you. I am Heavy objective oriented. (TO my own detriment) I can get kills, I'm slightly above average. Yet when I play TO I usually die twice for every kill I get because I'll sacrifice myself if I can get a shot at hitting a Bailey, or launching a catapulting pulling a lever. I get that some people just want to play Team deathmatch . BUT WHEN ITS YOUR WHOLE GODDAMN TEAM, JUST letting you run out over and over again and your doing all the heavy lifting/dying over and over just to prolong the match for them to farm even more kills, it is RAGE INDUCING... I wish I could just ,group up with like minded folks but it's hard on console, no microphone or text chat... I wish the game could find a way to get more people to play the objective...
@@bocrillz2488 are you saying you actually go negative k/d? Really seems hard to go negative in Chiv once you understand the basic mechanics even focusing on objective.
I play to advance the objective a lot and if I don’t go 2/1 on K/D that’s a a bad game. Not even talking about takedowns.
@@LispyJesus I play on a phone hotspot and I often get lag spikes that shoot my ping up to 1000. I still play well when I’m not lagging. Makes me sad to know players to vote kick others just because their internet isn’t very good:(

You mean the idea of a teammate blocking the stab ? And even if, the heavy stab still should go through, right ?

It’s super balanced good range and speed, and all 3 of the attacks are pretty good whereas certain weapons it’s clear which of their moves are stronger
I think messer has the strongest all rounder, long windup for countering, fast release for accels, super draggable to make any mixup, lots of damage, lots of range, funky sword animations makes feints almost unreadable, it has everything, should be nerfed imo, since it has so many movement advantages i would decrease its damage by a lot.

I was playing a duel server. And I don't know why, but Xbox players can't report people, it's just not possible since it is designed to be clicked by a mouse. I tried to report someone because they were obviously hacking and then they started targeting me just because I managed to kill them once. I reported them on Xbox but I hope that they make Xbox players actually able to report people in the actual game. Also vote kicking didn't work.
Vote kicking on duel servers especially with console players is busted. So frustrating. Something about the cross play glitches it out.

I've actually come around on the possible stab nerf. Been maining the greatsword knight and there were so many times where I heavy stabbed through my teammates at a chokepoint and would stop the push. I think its going make us change up how we approach big group fights. More variety.

I'm not very good at this game and can't really decide what to use, and your very good at it so, is it better to use messer with vanguard or knight?
Now everyone just uses Dane Axes/Waraxes/Halbred/Polehammer/Maul/Warhammers. All need a nerf. Real mean use something that takes precision & skill, like a sword.

I like the Messer more as longsword, the longsword is defenely better but the Messer makes more fun because it's so powerful. Ich mag das Messer mehr als das langschwer, das langschwert ist zwar besser aber das Messer macht mehr Spaß weil es so kraftvoll ist.

I think they should do away with the votekick you get people getting voted out with 0 team damage, I even accidentally votekicked someone when I was trying to add them as a friend. I haven't received a reply yet 😕 anyways if you don't like the lobby leave it, it's just pure toxicity.
