I can't tell you how many times I considered buying an Akai mpc JUST to get that one cymbal/open hat that he uses. It really just makes the beat come alive!
If you're a producer you know that "Hit 1" hi-hat. That hat has been used for over 15 years and is still used. We just have crazy hat rolls now. It's crazy. Lil Jon used it on damn near every beat he made.
TOOMP, DRUMMA BOY, SHAWTY REDD, ZAY, KHAO, JUST BLAZE, JUSTICE LEAGUE, THE RUNNERS, COOL&DRE, THE INKREDIBLES, POLOW... WE LIVIN IN A GREAT AREA, ENJOY THIS CUZ IT WONT LAST FOREVER
KORG Triton... It has a lot of classic synth sounds... Zaytoven uses a KORG M3 which has more brighter and newer sounding synths, Both are good auxiliary boards though
That's real talk. A real producer would not let another producer bring him/her down. If anything, make him/her work even harder at perfecting their craft.
shawty redd is the king of trap beats period all them lex luger southside tay d.rich niggaz is imitators, shawty redd is the first to set that gritty trap beat style
yall have to realize one thing in production, and that is the fact that these producers do this for a living meaning that, while yall are at work they are in the studio working. Producers like Shawty Redd, Drumma Boy make about 70 beats a week!!!! and if you think im lying try going to a record pool and listen to these producers talk about spending 12 to 15 hours in the studio per day. making a beat is easy, but when they turn in to producers, thats another story. Yall stay UP
@shellshock770 yo this pro from the west coast showin major love to the south.. we all inspire each other and them niggaz hattin is the ones on the sideline... pro from inglewood the perfect 10
@bo3asmoon Okay I will admit Shawty Redd is the originator of trap beats. One of my favorite producers. But all he did was inspire others to do the same sound. And not only that, there are other types of trap sounds out there. Shawty Redd has the 808's and brass. Lex has those complex melodies and drum sounds. Zaytoven has the organs. So people like Lex, Southside, and Zaytoven, you cant really hate on or call them imitators. Every producer has their own signature sounds and strategies.
the beat fire no doubt, you get punch in the mouth, from ny to downsouth, I dont play games with kids, i do the damn thing, i have phene out like samuel jackson in jungle fever smoking that wiz, This is to all my stick up kids from brooklyn to queens bridge, i rock the beat, i pop off on the beat, i got it cracking with the beat
not at all, redd may have been influenced by them, im not neglecting that, but the TRAP sound is he's. Yeah 3-6 had dark, horror-core content and moody beats, but Master P did also, it wasnt "TRAP" though...
It’s 2021 and I still come back to watch this classic 😭🙏🏾🔥🔥🔥
