Uncovering the reasons you reach for a drink is vital to recovery! Are you getting drunk just to get drunk? In this video, I'm going to share some tips for recovery. I did not get selected for a manager position that I am very proficient in. Normally, I'd be drunk just to cope with perceived failure and disappointment. We have a choice in recovery because we are no longer controlled by our Alcoholism. Alcohol addiction and drug addiction have controlled my life for 23 years, Sobriety brings me a choice and chance for opportunities.

I’m just going to say this because I feel anonymous. 1979 (I’m 62) I was diagnosed with Manic Depression as my mother was and grandfather, I’m wild and fair of face. I was always told to never tell anyone because no matter how hard people want to understand, they simply can’t. I’ve used alcohol like a calm down medication, rehab three times…I can’t do AA , in my mind it is too public. I’ve prayed to God all my life nothing changed. I’ve done things that would make a grown man cry.
