I like you Boomer but if you continued to have Boone's back it's going down a notch. I know it's not all Boones' fault BUT, for someone as you say, has so much baseball knowledge why does he make so many poor descions!! No he's not going by the book!! When someone is hot he sits them down to cool off for a day!! When someone is doing poorly at the plate he lets them play so they can work it out!! He's a horrible manager!! For instance, I think it was Jones that hit a double the other day and then Boone pinch hits Grisham for him the next AB and he proceeds to strike out looking which seems to be a thing with him!! Their bullpen sucks!! They need a new closer for sure. Make Holmes a set up man or a 7th inning guy. Cousins looks alright so far and I like Tonkin & Weaver. Marinaccio, Majik (maybe) and possibly Burdi. But the rest can go. I would trade all the others I haven't mentioned for a good closer and at least one other reliever. I am sick and tired of Goober Torres and his lackadaisial defense and his swinging for the fences attitude!!! IDK if Chisolm Jr. would be an upgrade but he couldn't be any worse!! Boone's got to go!! I have a $100 that says the Yankees will NEVER win a WS under him, let alone get there! Other than that they are a horrible team. I like Rizzo and LaMahieu but they need to go while they can still get something for them. Why is it the Yankee rookies never seem to reach the big leagues before the age of 25?? Let the young guys play!! They can't be any worse!! I'll bet another $100 that Boone will sit Rice down, EVEN IF HE IS PLAYING LIGHTS OUT MVP BALL, when Rizzo is ready to come back!!! Any takers?? And didn't think so!! You're a Boone man and I know you got $200 so come on!!
