Some things I am dissapointed by is no confirmed F&F sets and the KICK F1 car. The Veliside RX-7 and any S200 are must haves for my collection and I hope we just get all four listed. I know that it is most likely LEGO's fault as to why we didn't get the Stake Sauber car instead, but I think it is a lot more vibrant and more recognizable. (For those who are unaware, Stake is an online gambling app and LEGO opted out of that and chose the KICK car instead, which is what the Sauber team uses in countries where gambling is banned)
some bangers here. the F1 series seems to have split the crowd, but personally i think it’s awesome and can also imagine some amazing display pieces made for the collection. I’m picturing a frame on the wall with every car mounted and some graphics. Perfect for big f1 fans
A complete F1 display setup would be actually incredible! Or a coffee table with a glass view in the middle with a make-shift F1 paddock with all of the cars inside!

It blows my mind how they finally made proper rear tires for the sc f1 cars but for the technic ones not. They look ridiculous plus they should be half the price. The other sc sets could be very interesting and I hope they improve the print quality as it looks horrible on some pieces. And they definitely need to protect the windscreens from getting scratched in the box
I thought I was the only one who had the scratched windscreen concerns! Nice to know it wasn’t just me 😂 and yes completely agree that the updated F1 tyres are needed.
An off brand did a fast and furious rx7 in the orange and black and it looks decent. I’m sure a real Lego version would be way better though and more detailed. Any one of those 4 would be alright. Civic would be the last choice though in my opinion
I know the one you’re talking about, yeah it does look good but having built models from both I can safely say LEGO is much better quality and will deffo be better.
@@FRL3gends_Fan I honestly think the reason they’re 18+ is a little annoying. I get that LEGO doesn’t want to promote RedBull to children but it does seem a little over the top.
There's not a lot of Japanese cars on the Speed Champions list... This is only my opinion, but with the Dakar Rally being done in the next few weeks, would it not be interesting to see the Toyota entries as Speed Champion products? Toyota has finished that rally with very good results. Also, the past few years, a South African was driving one of the vehicles... and I would love to show my support for him, and one of the top selling vehicle brands and models in South Africa. We had a Ford Bronco model a few years ago... but apart from that and the 2 Audi models, there hasn't been anything else from that 'off-road-segment' of motorsport. Also my opinion, but the Nissan and Honda that was mentioned, is not as epic as the Honda NSX series... I guess I am not familiar with the Street Racer culture, and I won't know how legendary those models are in real life. The Dodge 69/70 models and Nissan GT-R models were already legendary before they were part of the Speed Champions line up. I believe the Honda NSX has earned it's place in the 'Hall of Fame' that justifies for LEGO to honor that model with a Speed Champion- product. I am just curios: what is the criteria that LEGO uses to justify a model on the Speed Champion line? Thanks for the info, it's much appreciated.
Wow! Firstly thank you so much for taking the time for such a detailed reply! I completely agree with the off-road element of speed champions, we are severely lacking in them kind of sets and I have no idea why. Personally they will be a big seller because they’re so unique and they just look incredible. The NSX is also such an awesome car but I think the narrative is steering towards the ones mentioned in the video purely because they have more of a “main” role in the F&F franchise, but then again we all could be extremely wrong and be completely surprised. As for the criteria I’m just assuming that LEGO will just follow trends and see what’s hot at the time and try and capitalise on the hype, potentially like they’re doing with the F1 craze at the minute and how the 911 GT3 RS is one of the most sought after cars at this moment in time. Again, thanks for your comment too. Your interest and support is greatly appreciated!
