The ropes are durable and just like the ones at the gym. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxTFxba6lNeHrZaHoY_LXe6ZzmMfaipnwu Caution: I bought the 50 feet ropes and they are long and heavy so make sure you have the space (I do have the space). If I was to do it again I would probably get a shorter version as 50 feet (25 feet each side) is a little long.

On a heavily sloped ceiling the supplied receiver cannot fit into the bracket as shown in this video and still hang correctly. Additionally the written instructions fail to mention how the receiver is supposed to be placed. I wasted almost an hour of time before I found this video, which has done nothing more than prove to us that we purchased an unusable fan. The entire design feels like a complete afterthought and is truly terrible.
If I have a red wire and black from my ceiling, where should I connect the red wire for this fan if I want it to connect with my light switch? With the ground group of with the black wires?
I have this fan and cannot turn it off anymore!!! I’ve changed the batteries on the control, trying to fix this, with no luck. I have two other controls that are the exact ones that come with this ceiling fan, and neither of them can turn it off. HELP!!!
Worst part was lining up the fan blade screw holes. And that added plate...one side has a little ridge on the edges...that is the blade side. It makes a difference for the holes to all line up.
My fan seems confused. It will start spinning then slowing stop. Start spinning again and go back and forth. Never reaching full speed and then stopping again. Any suggestions?

How do you detach the light kit? I need to remove the light and it is already connected. Need to unconnect.
