Ahhh the old “anyone can do that” about harsh vocals...and watching their sad Cookie Monster noises when they imitate it. And I’ve had so many people at the gym say there’s no rhythm, you can’t count and workout to that.
I legitimately do listen to pretty much every genre of music though, including the death thrash metal you mention. I really don't understand how people can only want to listen to one genre of music? Like don't you get bored? I'd happily listen to some Infant Annihilator one minute, when the song finishes put on some 1930's songs, after that maybe have some Marilyn Manson, then swap to some electronic club music, then listen to some Burzum, then some Queen, then some Metallica, then some Journey, then some Slipknot, then some 50 Cent, then some grindcore (recently been enjoying some Dismembered Pig) then some video game soundtracks like the PS1 Spyro games. Etc etc etc. I don't just stick to 1 genre at all times and I really don't understand why so many people do.. There's so many different sounds to enjoy. Whether that be kids of today listening to nothing but popular pop/rap songs. Or if it's metal heads listening to nothing but their favourite subgenre and writing off any other music, even other metal subgenres. Or if it's weebs who listen to nothing but Hatsune Miku and anime soundtracks. Etc etc. One way or the other I just don't get the elitism. Enjoy whatever you fu*king enjoy no matter what it is.
@@cookiesontoast9981 "Enjoy whatever you enjoy" Well most people simply enjoy one genre the most. I can listen to pretty much anything (except generic radio pop, that shit can go fuck itself) but I have to be in the mood for most kinds of music. Black metal is an exception to me. I never want to not listen to it in at least some form. There is a lot of variety in it, more than other metal genres imo, sometimes I put on some atmospheric/dsbm, sometimes more melodic stuff, like satanic warmaster or immortal, sometimes I just want some pure fucking hatred so I put on Craft. I love In Flames, I put on The Ink Spots sometimes, maybe even classical music, but black metal is the go to for me. I just find it so unique and different. It's what enchanted me about it when I first started listening to it. The simple, repetitive riffs, with nice melodies, interesting imagery, the whole lofi, diy culture it has. I find it very much unlike any other metal genre.
@@mach2223 I'm pretty much the same, black metal is the best metal subgenre! Sick video man.🔥
Literally guys THIS IS NOT A JOKE!
I was once going for a walk with my cousin who's proly like 7 and I talked to him about music since he only listens to Turkish music and German rap coz of his sorroundings
So he was like "what's the oldest song you have on your phone?"
So I showed him a song from the 20s and he was like "hm! Sounds interesting! How many likes has it?"
How. Many. LIKES????!?!
are u shitting me? Is the worth of a song only defined by likes nowadays?! Do feelings not exist anymore???!? Wtf? Is fitting in so important to u that u say "oh damn not enough likes! Can't like this now!"
I was at a los of words
I showed my mum darkthrone today and she managed to say "its not that bad until he starts singing"
ATLEAST SOMETHING
"Why do you listen to superficial lyrics about hedonism, sexism, egoism, drugs, and party-party-bang-boom-bang?" - don't we all? I mean... Don't say you've never jammed to Mötley Crüe, Kiss, or Van Halen. Technically speaking, hair/glam metal is still metal...
jajajajajajajja the final jajajajajaja.
Good video Farvann.
Was the melodic one Alcest or Hanging Garden?
Specifically autre temps
the Alcest reference made me so happy
Man that skit pop person was almost too unlikeable, sadly true.. Gotta say you really stepped it up a notch, I really like your face expressions and other signaling, like I really felt the utter irritation in the black metal heads head(hah) , when he heard "the melody comes from the vocals" good acting!
Oh, so THAT'S how 200 Stab Wounds got their name
What is the title of the first song? I think I like the sound... 😍
@@Farvann Oooh... 😶
Would you say the second's title?
Ahhh the old “anyone can do that” about harsh vocals...and watching their sad Cookie Monster noises when they imitate it. And I’ve had so many people at the gym say there’s no rhythm, you can’t count and workout to that.
But there is xD death metal is mostly always in 4/4
people be like: i listen to everything.
me: *playing some nice death-thrash metal*
those people: eww i dont't like that
I legitimately do listen to pretty much every genre of music though, including the death thrash metal you mention.
Not saying that people can't have favourites that they listen to more than others, just saying that being exclusively closed minded is just kinda sad and stops people from enjoying more music.
But yeah black metal is the best metal, I go to sleep at night listening to DSBM. Funeral Doom is probably my second favourite subgenre.
But as I stated before I enjoy every single subgenre of metal. But Black metal is what I tend to spend the most time listening to.
@@cookiesontoast9981 Yep, I agree with most of what you just said. Never really listened to funeral doom, do you have any recommendations?
@@mach2223 Ahab, Drown and Bellwitch are what I've been listening to lately. Ahab tends to be one of the most popular FD bands, while Drown Is more underground.
Love the cliffhanger at the end. Completely logical reaction to hearing someone say that!
Lol I remembered when Gene Simmons literally said in an interview for Loudwire that you can only call a band/artist "good" if they can sell millions of cds 'cause "the masses determine what's good".
The static part actually happened to me once, I put something on on the radio and my father told me to turn it off because it was just static.
Great, Farvann made me hate one of his alternative personalities and now I don't watch to watch his channel anymore xD jkjk :)
"Whats the most metal song you know?"
I thought he was going to say "Uhh photograph by NICKELBACK"
