In spite of it, the Govt had taken very good economic measures by giving loans after 1st wave of Corona which helped many businesses and was good, loss of lives were greatly saved by developing Indian Vaccines and establishing the supply chain. The country had developed indigenious Rocket at a minimal cost and launched it. The automotive sector, one of the major industries, in India, expected to come out with series of EV got delayed due to Corona but now establishing it strongly. Also offering solar power to households. Many such initiatives were done by this GOVT. In the midst of Corona, the oil prices were rising, during the same time, when EU did not sanction trade with russia due to Russia - Ukraine war, Mr.Modi with his gutso, keeping his only motive of serving Indian citizens, bought oil from Russia at cheaper price. How can we say the economic policies were not good enough? Sir, Come on, Have courage to appreciate, when one is doing a great job, after all, for us people.

I wonder why the expert feels the Modi 2019 did not deliver on economy. The latest report of 6.8% GDP is still more than similar countries. With somany welfare schemes and still some more to come plus infrastructure, defence, etc. why experts think Modi has not performed. Why all these experts did nothelp CONGRESS in 2014 to retain the government. Even if India Alliance comes to power are these brilliant economists help India to catapult the economy to 10% year on year.

I myself has around 20 lakh distributed in adani power, adani enterprise, hal, adani green power, titagarh railway systems, irctc, tata steel and bharat dynamics and I already have those valued over 25 lakh in just a month. 19% in 2009, 31% in 2014 and 38 % in 2019, since the vote share for BJP form 2009 to 2019 increased 2x therefore we can easily assume that the swing voters are nearly 15% assuming they gained 4% new loyalist. Therefore those 15% are not a hardcore BJP voters so they might swing. If this happens then there is no way BJP is forming Govt this time. Utne v jiyada nahi hai andhbhakt,23-25% vote share milega. I disagree with mr. Palshikar, bjp has set the stage for future economic upsurge on a sustained basis. What they have done is that they have firmed up the framework for sustained growth by cleaning up the system on a lot of fronts. Those may not be apparent to the external eye because people of the country are largely just hankering about inflation, unemployment, etc.. without understanding that all those are temporary blips that are a necessary part of the clean up process.
Indian people in general are very short sighted and are only concerned about short term gratifications. The bjp is essential for the country for decades of reliable growth

Please define economic non-performance. This is a nonsense statement. In all parameters it is the best .
With only the rich getting richer, you can hardly call our performance inclusive. Unemployment and inflation remain issues, and undermine the potential of our large economy. The government's tunnel vision focus on wealth creators is extremely short-sighted.
Investment climate is questionable. Yesterday's data showed a sharp slump in FDI. That is something to look at. Headline growth numbers can always be revised when elections are over. You have to look at the numbers underpinning those. The important ones are local and foreign direct investments, employment, consumption and savings.
We also need to look at income equality and per capita income. It's ridiculous to just say India is doing well, just because big industrialists are doing well.
Finally, the environment. Innovation thrives in open environments. Ours is becoming increasingly authoritarian.

On what basis do you say there is no Modi wave ? Turnout has dropped by 3% which is neglible. Also, the drop in turnout because the anti Modi voter is not voting knowing it to be futile.
3% is most definitely not negligible. The ruling party knows it quite well, which is precisely why they've been switching tactics after every phase.
