All I Know...

Scripture: John 9:1-41
Sometimes sharing our faith with others can seem scary - we can feel like we are imposing on others, or like we don’t know enough to talk about God/faith with confidence. But, in today’s story, we encounter someone who is a model for what it means to share God’s love and the story of Jesus with the world. He doesn’t have all the answers - he simply shares his own story. When asked about Jesus, he doesn’t give a dissertation about theology - he simply talks about how Jesus has changed his life. He says, “I’m not exactly sure who Jesus is - all I know is that I was blind, and now I see.” Part of what it means to join in God’s work is to take time to identify how Jesus has changed our lives and to be ready to share that story with others.
