I always thought that Micaiah's purpose was to foretell the coming of Jesus Christ and how he and his disciples would be treated. "I saw all Israel scattered on the hills like sheep without a shepherd," which ushered in the multi-century downfall of the Kingdoms of God (Isreal and Judah) after sin increased greatly due to idolatry. In other words, Micaiah's prophesy was one of the earliest to foretell the multi-century downfall of the Kingdoms of God. This curse was finally broken when Jesus, the messiah was crucified, and him dying for for our sins. Jesus says "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel" in Matthew 15:24, implying that what is about to happen to him (crucifixion) will start the new era. Micaiah was also one of the first to point out the era of "deceptive prophets," prophets who prophesy in the name of God simply to curry favor or please the Kings. In Matthew 24, Jesus warns his disciples that people will come in his name and claim to be the Christ, deceiving many. Jesus predicted his betrayal during the Last Supper. He warned his disciples that one of them was "a devil," which was later revealed to be Judas Iscariot. This would be the last deception. Micaiah's story had a lot of parallelism between how Jesus and his disciples were treated throughout their lives. Jesus was slapped by a temple guard while being questioned by the high priest. The incident is described in John 18:22-28. Paul was also put in prison and received 40 minus 1 lashes multiple times. In 2 Corinthians 11:24, Paul says, "five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one".

jesus is not the messiah jesus did not fufill the messianic prophecies the bible says the messiah will gather the exiles in deuteronomy 30:3 isaiah 11:11-12 jeremiah 30:3, 32:37 ezekiel 11:17, 36:24 the bible says the messiah will rebuild the temple in isaiah 2:2-3, 56:6-7, 60:7, 66:20 ezekiel 37:26-27 malachi 3:4 zechariah 14:20-21 the bible says when the messiah comes there will be world peace and a complete end to war in micah 4:1-4 hoseah 2:20 isaiah 2:1-4, 60:18 the bible says the messiah will bring universal knowledge of god in zechariah: 3:9 8:23, 14:9, 16 isaiah 45:23, 66:23; jeremiah 31:33 ezekie​l 38:23; psalm 86:9 zephaniah 3:9. jesus didn't do any of these things, so jesus can't be the messiah.

As an atheist this is very interesting and more of how I approached the bible when I was a Christian. This is also very much how the early genesis texts were understood for a long time, the litwralist approach just doesn't work and it ignores both what we know about the world and also how people wrote stories in that time period. Viewing genesis literally is like viewing Greek myths literally, like thinking that atlantis was a literal story of the gods getting angry and destroying a whole island. When they were written as stories to get across a message or idea and were understood as such at the time. It's good to see these sorts of videos on UA-cam, as I only tend to get the evangelical young earther Christian nationalist stuff if any get recommended. While I don't agree with the claim I can at least respect it, unlike the literalist claims, which just ignore reality.

You mention exodus a lot as if it is different from the tales in early genesis (like the garden of Eden, the flood and the tower of babel) when historians don't believe that it happened and that there was no large exodus of Jewish slaves from Egypt.

When it comes to revelations the one that gets me is the number of the beast, it's Nero, it's a boom about the roman empire and people keep trying to make it about modern day.

In the beginning is how it also begin in Enuma Elish. I wonder why?
