Even if you factory reset your Tama, the DL area will still be there. Your DL area code is linked to the device itself. It is safe to trade and share your codes.
I highly recommend not sharing codes too, be very cautious if you do! I saw someone shared their code and they hadn't yet used the ticket themselves, the person they let use the code for trade gave it to others and the owner who shared it was no longer able to use it.
You know, there's virtually no storage space on these things. They could've significantly increased it but they didn't. But that's the reason you can only have 1 DLC at a time.
their fail becuase of the limitation of the tamagotchi its started at pix then smart then now uni. bandai is good for breaking their fans expectation what else do they loose if the give us a full pack features. I am not againts DLC but the base game of the new installment device are getting less and less than what we have before

to clarify, I can download multiple codes onto my tamagotchi. I am allowed to switch these codes around for each dlc’s gameplay content but the precious content from the dlc is deleted. if you switch a dlc, does it count as 1 use?
Activating the code on your tama is one use, and using it on another tama or using it on the same tama after a factory reset counts as one use. If you have activated the ticket on your tama you can always switch to a different one or vice versa, switching won't count as a new use.

yes, you must hatch anew egg before switching, it will give yiu an error if you enter the dl code while raising a different dl tama
Do you get to keep all the items you bought if you move to a different area?
No, when you swap areas, the items will disappear :(
