I am a Renault kwid owner since last 5 years. I have driven this car 89000.. and I have other cars as well etios and G Vitara. .. trust me... Renault kwid is awesome budget car. I have driven it in highways, rural roads and mainly city. No problem as such anywhere. Although Many people criticise it for plastic chamber, light material; but these all are justified in terms of its pricing and usage. At present it's a perfect car for city usage. Easy handling, decent looks, ground clearance and features; makes it no nonsense, value for money perfect city car

How much mileage you get?
It's worth buying for a new driver at this price range with lot of features like hill assit in amt which is very useful for a new driver. It can use used as a second car or for a middle class family as well. In amt there is gear lag problem but for city ride it's far enough.
I m using kwid since 2018,very happy with this car..it runs 60000km...no problem in this car...love this car❤
I've recently purchased the Climber AMT Black and white dual tone model as my second car. It's a peppy little baby car. I love it's cute & cool looks and how it grabs eyeballs of the passerbys. Its also fun when I can overtake big cars with ease in the bumper to bumper Delhi traffic, its small size makes it easy to manoeuvre and I can squeeze it in such narrow spaces while driving and also when parking.
Can you tell if this has projected headlamps,a rear lamp and a rear USB charger ?
1 imp feature needed, I.e., Cruise control...badly missing
3 things still need to update in kwid. Window control on gates, 4 nuts on wheels and rear wiper

No mention of the alto k10 which now competes head on with it , much better chassis and class leading engine. Sad to see car bike show’s standards drop so low

The Alto and S presso look ugly. No match to the Kwid. They're selling only because of the Maruti Suzuki brand name.
@chauhanrohit k10 engine also,don't forget that...the kwids engine isn't close in terms of smoothness or efficiency
The Kwid engine is SHIT even after bs6 phase 2 terrible amount of vibrations and a very pathetic gearbox. The K10 C is miles ahead in terms of refinement and peppiness. It gets dual jet and dual VVT and after the dream edition it now gets a rear camera as standard for just 4.99 Lakhs and much superior product. Having LED DRLS just doesn’t make a car necessarily better. You need pedigree

There is no power in this car. I'm an owner since 6 months. Kindly don't buy.. invest a bit more and buy Hyundai i10

The paying capacity of middle class people is increased that why Baleno, punch, swift, Nexon, Brezza is the top most selling vehicles. Gone are the day's when you can buy top models of cars under 5 lakhs
No. It hasn't changed yet. Kwid or Alto still have good market - in the countryside. I agree to an extent that many first time buyers have moved to Punch, Swift kind, but the market for Alto kind still exists - mostly in the countryside and as an office car among the rich.
It's a myth... middle class is in trouble even more now
Purchasing capacity haven't increased but the audacity of middle class people to take heavy loans to buy big cars/things has increased
That is why we see people who earn 30,000 per month purchasing an 100k iPhone and a 15 lakh car which is too much for that financial situation

Hi, @paulabhilash5852! While the company claims a fuel efficiency of around 20-22 kmpl, in real-world it would be around 15-18 kmpl.
I have kwid climber 2018 automatic variant, having a mileage of surprisingly 28kmpl without AC on highways and 25kmpl in city drive if driven within speed limits and on light foot. 😅
