Sift flour into bowl. Add cream and lemonade. Stir with a knife to form a soft dough. Turn out onto floured surface and press to a 2cm-thick circle. Using a 5cm round cutter, cut out twelve rounds, re rolling dough as necessary. Bake at 220C fan-forced for 12-15 minutes or until golden. Serve with jam and cream.
Prep mins: 15
Cook mins: 15
Servings: 12 scones
Ingredients
2 cups Homebrand self raising flour
150ml Woolworths thickened cream
160ml-180ml Woolworths Select lemonade, chilled
Thick cream, to serve
Woolworths Gold Strawberry Jam
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven 220°C fan-forced. Lightly grease a large flat oven tray.
2. Sift the flour into large bowl. Add the cream and 160ml of lemonade. Stir with a table knife to form a soft dough adding the remaining lemonade if necessary. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently until the dough comes together.
3. Press the dough out to 2cm-thick round. Cut as many scones as possible, using a 5cm round cutter dipped in flour. Gently press the un-used dough together and repeat to get 12 scones.
4. Place onto the tray almost touching each other. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and well risen. Serve hot with cream and jam.
Tip1: Scones are best enjoyed hot straight from the oven. To keep warm, wrap in a clean tea-towel for up to 30 minutes.
Tip2: No scone cutter, press dough into a 2cm-thick rectangle and cut into 12. Or just use a glass?
Tip3: Turn these into date scones by adding ¾ cup chopped dried dates.

Hello,thank you for sharing.Can I add currants?.
Yes, I've added currants to this recipe. I do soften them just a tad in a few teaspoons of water and let them sit for a bit first.

Laura Lockman 150ml cream 180ml lemonade. A ml is a milliliter.
There’s is too much lemonade put into this receipt, needs to be denser.
Is the lemonade fizzy?
Without the fizz there will be no fluffiness to the scones.
