  • In this video we explore the wonderful attraction of the Eden Project in Cornwall. Which is located in the south west of England in the UK.
It is filled with unique, non-native and native plants, art, science, bugs, and animals.
The Eden Project has a special place in Cornwall, we think it is the number 1 attraction in the whole of the county! We had planned to visit since we booked the holiday. The biomes are immense, the external gardens are beautiful and teeming with activity from the bees. The biomes themselves are unique structures with two zones, one a rainforest biome and the other a mediterranean theme. Both with their own temperature controlled environments meaning they were warm even when the outside temperature wasn't the best.
There is also a science/education hub in the Eden Project called 'the core' it is a uniquely shaped building, with design inspired by the Fibonacci sequence found in most plants.
We visited the Eden Project on our holiday to Cornwall, it wasn't the warmest of weather during our time there, considering it was July, we still had an amazing time.
The Eden Project is a great experience if you visit once. However, it took us all day to explore the whole site. You pay for your ticket but you get access for 12 months from your first booking, so if you live locally or are on an extended trip and wanted to visit a couple of times and do it bit by bit then you only have to pay the once.
The next time we go all we ask is for two things: number 1 is that it's sunny, and number 2 is that we can go on the zip line! It looks so fun.
