Simple Student Living yeah I don’t get why people have this agenda against him. I mean he’s a character and what’s needed in the modern game to make it interesting. A rivalry between price and van Gerwyn could be what attracts new viewers to the sport. Darts at the moment lacks characters, we need a bit of controversy to make it watchable. Sure price can take it too far but so can everyone, I mean bobby George even said that behind closed doors price was a humble guy. Price puts it all on for the camera, whereas Paul is more of a general twat.

I get why good sportsman and gentleman in sports are respected and praised, but you’ve got to have a bit of personality to stand out and grow your own brand. Some people have to be villains. In boxing the build ups for fights where both fighters are polite are very boring

Nicholson's behaviour was strange indeed, but I agree with clairefraser63, the Australians seemed to play like a real team, frequently exchanging high-fives while England didn't show any kind of team spirit to me..

I mean you wanna talk about normal handshakes, put your mind too the match previous too the double with lewis and Nicholson, lewis was very despondent too shake Nicholson's hand after, not too say I think he's being 'unsporting' but if were gonna talk about the handshake, both are similar and your attacking one man who's just passionate about the sport. Paul Nicholson has always been the bad boy of darts and you see it, but players say off the board he really is nice person to meet. As for Lewis yes he does at times act like a prick but both of them i feel let there team mates down. But usually Taylor in most matches straight after gets the board and signs it and wants others too. I do think Taylor is kind for things he does for darts even if i not like him.
Nicholson who is he. Not as good as he thinks he is. Felt sorry for Whitlock having to partner that fool. Always remember the late great Leighton Rees who stated a great champion has to learn to loose gracefully before becoming a winner.
