Just gorgeous playing here, so clean and clever and effortless. Never repeating the same fill. The drums are tuned to perfection and I especially the love the pronounced dip tuned in to the tom that you just wait to hear again. The occasional short open high hat is so tastefully snuck in. She plays with both joy and authority as usual.
That was fantastic Yoyoka! Like others have said, it brings back fond memories...memories of Frampton, Styx, Kansas, Cheap Trick, Fleetwood Mac, Boston, etc. THANK YOU!! ❤
Soo awesome! One of my favorite songs.... I can't remember the last time I heard the studio version... It's so different in all those subtle ways. Go, go Yoyo...ka!!! W()*()T!!! ☝✨🎶😆
though i grew up hearing the Framptom Comes Alive version on FM radio as a teen in the 70's -- Yoyoka thanks for re-awakening me to this sweet song and for highlighting how tasty great drumming sounds! 😎
I saw Peter Frampton live in 1974. John Siomos was on drums then as he was when this song came out a year or so later. Yayoka is so relaxed on this performance. It's like she could do it in her sleep. She's the best!
Now you're talking my language. I grew up with this guy on AM radio. And wow, the studio version...all the better. Thank you, Yoyoka!! Hey, how about a follow-up with "I'll give you money"?!...see how you do with the intro. I'm sure you can nail it.
This is really great stuff. But I still miss your improvisational stuff. Just your drumming from your heart and mind and nothing else, it’s as good as listening to an entire symphony doing Beethoven. Your improvisational is very inspirational :)
Nice! I was around when this originally hit the charts, but I have to admit that I wasn't into it as I saw it as being more pop than rock. Of course now I see it as a classic heh. There is a live album which Frampton released which is, I believe, one of the highest charted, or longest charted live albums of all time, and it is definitely a lot rockier than the studio version. I even heard that the drummer at that gig has some connections to my country, Bermuda, but I've never verified that. Great one, Yoyoka!
Perfect as always. I haven't heard this song in more decades than I care to admit. I don't remember the vocals sounding so dry. Maybe it was live version I always heard. I love the rugs as a background.
Didn't you catch all those subtle differences too... The live version was so infamous I forgot how awesome this version was also.., because we never listened to it :p😄
Great job, Yoyoka!!! You are a very talented drummer!!! Why don't you drum barefoot? You will get better traction drumming barefoot than in your socks. I would drum barefoot.
How about some Dream Theater or something more challenging to express your talent. Songs like this isn't what got you noticed and praised. XOXO... Truth
The G.O.A.T. drummer.

wow at the first take

no doubt, the Leland Sklar of drums is in the making. this perfect bread and butter drumming will pay off.
1 of my favs! 😊

It was all the rage back then, I was in high school. Damn I'm old 😂
I was in college, but it was the rage. A great year for music.
I love this song!
And Yoyoka's interpretation is perfect!
Yaaaaayyy Yoyoka! She's the best! Never misses a beat! Doing all the classics ❤ I love her more! More Yayoka!
Yes sir. It brings back a lot of memories from my childhood especially in high school. Superb interpretation Yoyo. And you show us the way, thank you.
That was fun. The Frampton album has a few songs that didn't make it to the live album. Thanks for that.
Excellent choice!
A very relaxed natural talent. 😎
Yoyoka, you've really got great and perfect music apetitte😝
渋い選曲だなあ…。それにしてもドラムの音が綺麗。
Great cover of a great song. Thanks for sharing. You look like you are so relaxed.
いつもながら良い音!ドラムを練習中の人やこれから始める人、身体の使い方や、腕、手首の振りなど、このビデオをよく観て勉強すると良いでしょう!
Sooo cool and calm. You are a gift of musicianship to the world. Thanks on this Thanksgiving, Ms Yoyoka
Epic toe
Great cover Yoyoka! What a good grove this is!😎🤘👏👏
A favourite of mine and beautifully covered Yoyo, great stuff!! Pat 🏴
As usual Yoyoka beats her own path and that's just fine by me
Saw Frampton several times in concert and they were great.
Love you Yoyoka! Still got the power socks on!
Great. And Aki’s hand appearing and disappearing between the rugs 😊.
I love your interpretation of this classic song from my youth. Keep up the fantastic work and continue having fun playing the drums!
朝一聴いてとても楽しい気分になりました!

This was really awesome. Thanks so much for your fantastic drumming. 👍👍✌️🥁
Love the song love Yoyoka drumming 👍(Tel Aviv)
That's fun ❤🎉
Excellent choice Richard Medina!
Thank you sir, it's not much of a challenge for her, but it shows her range and ability to tackle any genre of music with ease.
Awesome! Love Peter Frampton and your groove is spot on!

😮So good! I could listen to this all day!❤
曲相の表現力が凄い!ホームスタジオの模様替えで音響が良くなったのは気のせいかな?
Absolute perfection as always! Loved it! ❤️
Great selection, a delight for the old folks
I’m not that relaxed when I’m sleeping 😂 Great work Yoyoka!
LOL Good one!
Peter changed the rock and roll landscape with Comes Alive! Very nice song choice 🫶🏻
This is really great stuff.

Nice Chill song.
Awesome 🐰🥁🐰🥁🐰
懐かしい!
💚ya Yoyoka✨ ✌🏼
Good Stuff! I really love how your Ludwig kit sounds.
ドラムは素人だけど、聴いていて楽しくなります
😉👍️✨
Awesome!

👍🏻👍🏼👍🏽👍🏾
I don't remember how the drums go on the original as it's so long since i heard it but I do know your drums sit there so effortlessly!!!
I want to hear Alice Cooper’s, can’t sleep. The clowns will eat me. One of the best drum solos I’ve ever heard.
とっても素敵なソックス!

This is from the studio album, not "Frampton Comes Alive."
Yes, most people know the live version - "Frampton Comes Alive" was massive in 1976.
Didn't you catch all those subtle differences too... The live version was so infamous I forgot how awesome this version was also.., because we never listened to it :p😄
please do Candlebox "You"
Never used the ride. Or the disco shuffle... Is that in the original studio version? You are incredible btw. Fan since Ellen. From Canada, Peace Out!
中学生時代にメガヒットしていたカムズアライヴを思い出す(笑)
