    1 onion.
    700 g minced meat.
    150 g tomato sauce.
    3 chicken eggs.
    20 g sour cream.
    200 ml milk.
    70g flour.
    Some vegetable oil.

    The meal looks very pleasant. But the video is extremely, extremely, extremely painful to watch. Way to much time watching every potatoe being sliced, onions being moved around while frying and meat being stirred. But thanks for your time and effort. Cheers

      I agree. A little judicious editing would be a good idea. Also - cut the use of all that SALT in half. At least.

    I'm from Romania, the recipe is Greek in origin and we cook it in Romania too, the cooking technique is a little different but the result is the same, it's called Musaca....Musacaua (Greek μουσακάς; Romanian musaca; Turkish musakka; South Slavic: мусака/ ​musaka; Armenian: موساكة; Arabic مسقعة musaqqaʿa) is a food present especially in the cuisine of the Balkans and the Far East.
    The word moussaka comes from Arabic and means served cold. In the Romanian language it came from the Greek language. The Greek version of this dish is also the version that has established itself in gastronomy.
    Traditionally, moussaka is prepared from layers of minced (or shredded with a knife) lamb or any other red meat, alternating with slices of fried eggplant or potato, with tomato slices and white sauce. The ingredients are placed in a deep and wide dish, baked in the oven and the product, the moussaka, is served in large pieces, allowing to observe the alternation of layers of vegetables and meat.
    In the Turkish version, the moussaka is not presented in layers. Turkish moussaka is prepared from steamed or fried vegetables, eggplant, bell pepper, tomato, onion, all mixed with minced meat. It is served with yogurt sauce and rice pilaf. In the original Arabic version, moussaka is a dish served cold, a kind of salad composed mainly of tomatoes and eggplant, and is served at the beginning of the meal, as an appetizer. In its Balkan version, i.e. in Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia, this dish can also be cooked with potatoes instead of eggplant. Variants are also known in which the vegetable layer is composed of pumpkins, carrots and potatoes.
    Although it has an Arabic name, it is generally considered a dish of Greek origin.
    In the standard version of moussaka, which is presented in delimited layers, the base layer is of eggplant fried in olive oil, the middle layer is composed of meat, usually lamb, prepared beforehand by frying with onions, garlic, tomatoes and aromatic herbs (bay, thyme, oregano) and other spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, black pepper), and the last layer is actually a bechamel sauce or another sauce based on egg and cream - probably influenced by the Greek cuisine of at the beginning of the 20th century. The three layers are placed neatly in a buttered dish and placed in the oven to bake until the top layer turns a caramel color, which doesn't take long because the other two layers have been pre-cooked.
    In the bechamel sauce, butter can be replaced with cream. In the Balkans the topping is generally an egg and cream sauce, thickened with grated cheese, grated cheese or breadcrumbs.
    It can also be prepared as a fasting dish, entirely from vegetables, without meat, egg and dairy. Thus, the meat can be replaced with mushrooms or any other vegetable that lends itself to being finely chopped and well seasoned, and placed in the baking dish not lined with butter, but between two clear layers of sliced vegetables, eggplant or potato.

    OMG !!! So much SALT !!! The use of salt needs to be GREATLY reduced - to less than half that shown. Also - not necessary to see EVERY potato sliced, EVERY onion cut . . some editing would be a good idea, here. We KNOW how to cut potatoes and onions - cut one of each, and them show them all cut without having to see every single slice made with the knife. The video is almost twice as long as it needs to be.
