Thanks for this, the fob from Amazon worked great. Had to take apart the fob as it wouldn't fit my local locksmith machine as it was. Taking it apart wasn't difficult.

2008 V8 4Runner here and this worked for me too! Took the fob to a local Home Depot and they have a machine that does automotive keys and what we did was cut it as a regular key and told the machine the key was not a transponder key. This only cost about $4 for the key cutting. Went to the parking lot and programmed it following along with this video and worked like a charm! Such a cool upgrade!

Thanks for the good instruction but I could not get pass the programing the fob. after the vehicle recycling, I could not get the vehicle to accept the fob key. Any idea why?
Are you using your original key? It won't program if you're using the spare key. Look the programing steps up on Google too. There's a pdf file out there shows step by step.
Dont know why when I pulled the original key the red light should be lit steady red, but it keeps blinking that's why I cant program the new key. Any idea why? I followed exactly on the video. Thanks

Hey hi Nash, first thanks for the video. - Can you HELP... I have ordered 3 key fobs for my 2008 4Runner Limited. I've had the key cut but I cannot attach the key to the fob. The pin will not insert thru the fob & key at all. Any tips or tricks to get pin in the fob??
Yes, that pin is hard to go in. I made one end of the pin pointer using pliers and insert it in then used the pliers again to push it all the way in. It took me couple tries but I got it and I'm sure you will too!
I have 2 questions for you! 1. Does this remote start the car? 2. Would a 2014 Corolla key fit in this fob? I’ve been searching for a solution to have a flip key and remote start combination so I don’t have to carry a remote and key separately. Just want everything all in one

Not sure about free, but yes they will cut the key for you. They cut it free for me because I told them that I'll be programming it on my own. I just had a key cut at Honda for $16. So not as cheap as places like Walmart and such.
Are you asking how to install a remote start? If yes, this isn't the video for it. If not, and you are wondering if this will interfere with the remote start. It will not. You can still add this regardless of the remote start system.

They are very similar, but before you buy it check or maybe email the seller to ensure it fits. Good thing it's cheap so even if it didn't fit, Amazon's return policy is great!

When I rented the programmer I purchased two keys from Toms that easily snapped apart and the "chip" and "buttons" easily came apart to use in the new key. This works for both the Meso and the one in the video.
It's pretty good. I recommend it 100%. I have a video about it with a link of where to get it on my channel. This has both, android auto and Apple Carplay. Just make sure you buy the dongle for it.

Got key cut for 10$ at Toyota, got the buttons to work, but when I do the steps to program the key, after closing and opening the door 6x and pulling out the master key, the security light does not stay solid. Tried this for a good hour and nothing. Help?
@@Nashharis8758 The same key fob in the video. I just saw another video, master keys are black and valet keys are grey. The key I have is grey, im assuming this is why its not working.
@@IM3INFAMOUS that would be my guess as well. You can have a shop program it for you. The ignition isn't reading the chip because you don't have the original key to access learning mode.
No sir. Works like a charm. The only thing with mentioning, the key itself is a little wobbly but that's because I didn't put the pin in the place fully. Otherwise, everything works.
I had a locksmith in my neighborhood cut mine and because the original key was so worn out he made a test copy with an all metal key no chip and when that worked he cut the key off of that instead of my worn out original. It turns perfectly. I am about to attempt to program it. Wish me luck with the GTA cheat code 🤣

I don't think the chip in this fob will be the same as yours. You can try but I'm not sure if it'll work. But this will not start the car.

The trunk button works on the rear window as well! It pulls it down just like the original fob for me. Once programed everything works like it should!

Then you're not in the learning mood. Could be because you don't have the master key or too many keys are programed on that vehicle.

I like the key. However, while removing the key,most of the time the fingers come in contact with the panic switch and gives unwanted alarm.
