That’s the point isn’t it - everything now is a mixture of everything in history. There are very few new things on earth and it’s a good thing to all be mixing with each other and taking good things from here there and everywhere.

Humans evolved in africa and stayed in africa for thousands of years before they ever migrated else and developed into the current phenotypic forms of humanity we find. Anybody laying claim to "doing it first" is ridiculous. The likely scenario is multiple peoples and cultures independetly developed a tradition of dreadlocks. There is no point in trying to lay claim to "who did it first".

Military has been giving "high top fades" since the 50s Cultural appropriation is any one wearing a fashion of dress, hair style or language that isn't apart of your heritage culture.
Problem is that any food made on an industrial scale will always have its heat and spice toned down to suit the majority. Also, it’s difficult to say whether any dish is “authentic” as, in one street in the country of origin, you’ll probably find 20 different versions of it. Everybody influences everybody else and it’s how we move forward as a species. No one has the monopoly on any of it as the chances are that the same good idea has occurred to many different peoples E.g. the notion that black people “own” braids or dreadlocks is nonsense given how often they crop up in both black and white cultures going back into antiquity (E.g. Vikings, Egyptians, Celts, etc.)
Cultural appropriation doesn't exist, there is no trademark and no copyright. That's just what the bottom of the barrel came up to counter people with ideas. Learn to share, appreciate the emulation. At this rate, soon your regular barbershop will have a menu with allowed haircuts and specifically forbidden ones, like in North Korea. Americans seem to be missing out on how their economy is doing okay but their society's future is a dice roll away from either fascism or communism.
Thing is, most things people claim as "culture appropriation" is not even truly their culture...and what's even weirder is that said groups actually tent to appropriate cultures of many others at the same time. It's so hypocritical. That's why it's not racist to SHARE cultures. If was done for the past 5,000 years or more.
Kelcie's haircut is basically a military style. I had one like it back in the 80's when I was in the Marines. I don't get why someone made a big deal about it being new and revolutionary.
On the New Heights podcast Jason brought it up the media said that and Travis was like hell no, I didn’t invent shit. Just a haircut he has been getting.
Cultural appropriation is when some tribe in Africa is told they're not allowed to use their tribal colours that they had for 10,000 years because some clothing line copyrighted it. And the people they stole it from never got a penny.
I love the sense of humor you two share!! Reminds me of my wife and I! I already suggested reacting to Tim Minchin in my comments under some other of your videos, but I'm sure you'd love Tim's "If I didn't have you" and "Lullaby"... I promise you'll laugh your asses off!

So if this is cultural appropriation then should we stop having Indian, Tai, Chinese food (and all the others)?, should I state when I’m abroad and asked why i dont bother to learn the language say, No that would be cultural appropriation. When i have been abroad quite often the locals will try to sell you artefacts and clothing of their national costume etc. It seems if there is a profit to be made it’s ok but if i wear it back home I’m then racist etc. Why can’t looking at another culture and admiring certain parts or even wearing something like. Chinese dress on a night out be seen as nice, nobody is trying to say I am now Chinese, i thought we wanted to share and learn from each other.
" The way black people been getting there haircut since the end of time " Since 1850 when the proper equipment was invented. By a white Guy. And dreads are from Vikings
First of all you realize dreads are a natural hairstyle that’s how black hair naturally grows if it’s not combed. Secondly people in Africa litterally are the first humans so you folks saying that it came from Viking actually sound STUPIDDDD. 2 seconds of research is all it takes my guy. Stop talking about shit you don’t know.
Vikings had long hair braided and in some form dreadlocks, along with beards to keep warm and also intimidate people. Just a bit of history that is left out of human existence. Also, Vikings were in North America long before anyone else’s recorded history.
What you mentioned was not cultural appropriation lol Its fucking hair lol And that would be on the media than since youre saying they were the ones that blew it out of proportion or whatever If you want to be that picky, pretty sure it was a qhite guy that invented the electric clippers So wouldnt it be cultural appreciation to use the clippers the make the hairstyle?
The problem with cultural appropriation is the white kid with the dreadlocks is probably not your enemy the white man with the whitest white man haircut prolly is.
Rap, scottish/Irish origins originally called Filting/Gilting in old Gaelic , Frying/pan frying = Portuguese, Deep Frying = Scottish . Refrigerator = Scottish Every Jazz Instrument is French or German, the Base Musical Methodology aswell . I'm bored now so PpPPPpOst .
To be fair the “high and tight” haircut was used 2000 years ago by the Roman’s as well. If you look at world history there’s no hairstyle that was solely used by only one group. 3000 years ago the Irish celts had dreadlocks. Cultural appropriation is a made up thing
Living to the age of 150 doesn't mean that we will spend the last 70-80 years of our life with the same challenges and struggles that someone aged 90+ experiences today. If we were to reach the age of 150, being 100 years old would be about the same as being about 50 today. It's only about the last 10% of our lives, that we start to decline into very poor health or severe disability. Meaning that we would have around 135 years of good health before encountering significant challenges associated with old age.
Cultural appropriation is stupid . Especially the dreadlocks. White people like Viking and Celtic warriors had dreads . I understand trying to be something you're not amd people wanting to protect their traditions and heritages but it ain't gotta be all that crazy. If we're being totally honest a lot of things that is considered black culture in America is really just southern culture . I'm a white guy from the south and we have a ton of things in common with black culture like the food and even our accent believe it or not come from the same place. I actually think when black comedians do their stereotype jokes and accent for white people it's hilarious but those types of white people are absolutely nothing like the kind of white people like me . Btw this comment is not meant to disrespect anyone of any place or culture. I'm just pointing out facts
I understand where you’re coming from for sure, I guess in my perception of cultural appropriation I think it’s a trendy word right now so it’s over used, but I think a lot of things stem from places that a lot of people don’t even know where it comes from, I don’t think cultural appropriation by the actual meaning is really how people use it now, folks will say that for all kinds of stuff like someone cooking fried rice lol, like I can’t eat rice cuz of it’s cultural roots? I guess I see it more is an issue where people strip its origins and act like the original creators weren’t that. Basically like plagiarism… like if you site your sources it makes sense but if you steal that’s crazy lol
@MunfuBitty I can agree with you in that sense. It's these young woke kids that use all these buzz words like calling people racist and a Nazi for no reason all. I also can understand if a minority group in America can feel defensive over their culture because there are less of them in this country and it probably kind of feels like you're part of your own special club and people are just joining up without an invite or a membership 😂 That might be a bad analogy but I think you know what I'm trying to say.

The advancing elderly age is going to happen with people being more healthy and in better condition than ever before. And this is why we will be able to live that long... Ricky is a great one too.
I bet you when Travis had his haircut he did not think about cultural appropriation.
Corn rows or black braids, are called "DUTCH Braids". From...the DUTCH, and Viking culture! lol
Bro it takes 2 seconds of research to not be this stupid, not they didn’t, you realize Africa was a continent before Vikings even existed? And why do you think Dutch got those hair styles you actual Moron…. From the slave trade from WEST INDIANS. Jesus Christ go touch grass man
@@MunfuBitty I'm quite aware that Africa existed since the separation of Pangea.
Just came across your channel yoi get uk humo😂
Yall should see his radio show its animated
He ain’t lying though
Did anyone know that dreadlocks were actually what white people actually did it first
Humans evolved in africa and stayed in africa for thousands of years before they ever migrated else and developed into the current phenotypic forms of humanity we find. Anybody laying claim to "doing it first" is ridiculous. The likely scenario is multiple peoples and cultures independetly developed a tradition of dreadlocks. There is no point in trying to lay claim to "who did it first".
@@GeneralToxicus ok I will word it better for you if you can’t understand what I said, white people were the first documented people to wear braids and dreadlocks, is that better
@@babyamy3884 yes

You guys should check out the Ricky Gervais show cartoon. It's all about his assistant, Karl Pilkington, who is hilarious.
The aging thing, keep in mind that quality of life will ALSO be extended for those who are fortunate enough, not merely lifespans.
She looks really peed of with his humour 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
the thing about living longer is not only one self, but everything around. like in the movie green mile. yes, he gets to live longer and 'enjoy' life, but he also has to see family and loved ones die and mourn everyone. so yea, dont keep me alive too long LMAO im good with under 90 years old
Military has been giving "high top fades" since the 50s
Cultural appropriation is any one wearing a fashion of dress, hair style or language that isn't apart of your heritage culture.
Have you reacted to Jimmy Carr roasting big narstie
You should do his critique of Noahs Arc next!
Vikings, Egyptians, Celts, etc.)
he's a good boy
Please do next: learn English with Ricky gervais
(You'll get to know karl pilkington there. Was my first introduction to that deep rabbit hole.)
Yes 😊
Cultural appropriation doesn't exist, there is no trademark and no copyright. That's just what the bottom of the barrel came up to counter people with ideas. Learn to share, appreciate the emulation. At this rate, soon your regular barbershop will have a menu with allowed haircuts and specifically forbidden ones, like in North Korea. Americans seem to be missing out on how their economy is doing okay but their society's future is a dice roll away from either fascism or communism.
You will have to react to Jimmy carr if you haven’t already
Based on the thumbnail i can tell this is gonna be good ...lol
Awesome reaction.
Thank you
Thing is, most things people claim as "culture appropriation" is not even truly their culture...and what's even weirder is that said groups actually tent to appropriate cultures of many others at the same time.
🤣🤣🤣😂 facts that’s more what I even thought of when I saw it military or cop but that was hilarious in general
Yes! Also, the British (Birmingham for example) have been cutting hair like this for years, since the early 20th century. Check out Peaky Blinders.
On the New Heights podcast Jason brought it up the media said that and Travis was like hell no, I didn’t invent shit. Just a haircut he has been getting.
Frank ie boyle is also fiya. My top 3 together with jimmy carr
Frankie is a Boil himself now , a scared little schill .
A scouser is a person from Liverpool 😁
Cultural appropriation is when some tribe in Africa is told they're not allowed to use their tribal colours that they had for 10,000 years because some clothing line copyrighted it. And the people they stole it from never got a penny.
I love the sense of humor you two share!! Reminds me of my wife and I!
I already suggested reacting to Tim Minchin in my comments under some other of your videos, but I'm sure you'd love Tim's "If I didn't have you" and "Lullaby"... I promise you'll laugh your asses off!
Thank you family! We appreciate that and let me add Tim to the list I’ve never actually seen him before
@@MunfuBittyOhhhhh..... welcome to the Tim Minchin roller-coaster!!!

He's an artistic and comedic genius!
@@Smoshy16 We can put in perspective life's hardships and laugh, yes. I think you're the clueless one here... 🤣
So Travis Kelces haircut wasn't cultural appropriation. The news outlets making it out to be original was the problem.
For the last joke, don't focus on the "herpes" comment but more on the "scouser" part

Of all time? Or Ricky?
"Just a bit of history that is left out of human existence" Black history.
evidence for this claim?
Hi, Love you guys man, but you need to sort out your sound issues bro
Dont think u get what cultural appropriation is...
That's it. I'm investing in incontinence pads.
Dude, are you serious. Travis Kelce’s haircut was the STANDARD haircut for white people for over a hundred years, up into the 1960s.
React to jimmy carrs riskiest jokes , and also some frankie boyle ...
For more offensive jokes
I only got my hair cut in the locker room, in hs... it just came out however
What you mentioned was not cultural appropriation lol
Its fucking hair lol
And that would be on the media than since youre saying they were the ones that blew it out of proportion or whatever
If you want to be that picky, pretty sure it was a qhite guy that invented the electric clippers
So wouldnt it be cultural appreciation to use the clippers the make the hairstyle?
The problem with cultural appropriation is the white kid with the dreadlocks is probably not your enemy the white man with the whitest white man haircut prolly is.
You should check Al Murray

To be fair the “high and tight” haircut was used 2000 years ago by the Roman’s as well. If you look at world history there’s no hairstyle that was solely used by only one group. 3000 years ago the Irish celts had dreadlocks. Cultural appropriation is a made up thing
His name is pronounced with the vais part as rhyming with face.
On the cultural appropriation front: the dreadlocks are a Dutch braid. White people made that hairstyle 😂
@MunfuBitty btw thanks for the reply . I do really like yall's channel . I try to watch everything yall drop
Hi-top fade haircut came from the military...just sayin'
You wouldn't age the same, just as we don't age the same today as our ancestors. Basically, being 120 would be like being 70. 🤷♂️
I don't want to be here now, much less 150
