Hey Tina, great job on everything! One suggestion would be to put a breathable barrier between the mattress and wood - some people use plastic crates of some sort. Mildew in a camper (humidity) will ruin everything. I know you’ve already got the mattress in there, but it’s as easy as lifting a few spots and shoving them under the mattress. Also, you could drill holes in the box/storage space under the bed to keep air movement. Good luck, from a full time RV living family ♥️

Tina we understand that it's best to get the mattress in the camper when you have to strong men to help you. We have a king sized mattress that is memory foam and when we moved we used ratching straps to fold it too. Then we used the utility dolly to roll it into and off the moving truck. The air conditioning unit that Kim was talking about may be enough to cool the whole camper, we have two of them and they were able to cool our 2200 square foot house when our unit went out. Before you put the window unit into your bedroom try just using the unit Kim is giving you. As I recall she had said that it was a 12,000 BTU. It should be enough to cool the whole camper. It was 84 at 9 am with a heat index of 91🥵 Stay cool! Looking forward to seeing your new table and bedroom set. Much love from our family to your family 💞
Bless Ben and Elijah for not only helping you move that bulky mattress but for advising mom to wait until morning to tackle that tub. You stay safe Tina and try not to do strenuous work in the heat of the day, it is so dangerous, if I remember right Kim was showing all the signs of heat stroke last summer, it happens quick. 🌞

My hubby passed in 2009. We have only had the bed he had in high school. It came with us in 1972. I get it. I finally bought new furniture in 2017. The first time I had a couch and chair that match. We live with what we can afford and make do.
SUGGESTION: Freestanding AC unit from Kim - please check if you need to put it in a rubber water proof tray with sides. Some freestanding AC units allow water condensation to leak and soak the carpet. I'm really happy for you all to enjoy using your RV. You definitely deserve the rewards of your hard labors. 💛

How cool getting new furniture can't wait to see it and happy for you Tina. I was raised in Southern Missouri but have lived in Tucson Arizona for 40 years. We was talking about some family members who had came out during our monsoon season one year and was excited to see a monsoon. They were out when it hit and had to call us to come recuse them i have to admit it was a spectacular storm and once we got them back to the house there was no getting back out to town at least for few hours. Cause our floods are quick and violent but the water does disappear pretty quickly. They never wanted to see a monsoon ever again after that one. Tina, you're such a sweetheart! You know, Tina I to, wanted daughters but, ended up with 3 sons and I am so blessed and thankful for my boys. They are grownup and such a blessing to their mama. One thing God has blessed you with the sweetest grandaughters. I have one grandaughter and it's so much fun to take her shopping and out to eat. My son and his wife wanted a girl too. But they had 4 boys and his wife said thats enough. They are all so awsome. My daughter had a boy too and said I only want one so my chances for having a granddaughter is 000. I was just wondering if you hot the mattress on in your RV and here comes Ben and Elijah. I'm happy they were there to help. I'm so happy your getting a new table and chairs and a new bedroom, wow. I seen a video of Le and Elijah at the feed store. Le went to get a buggy but Elijah carried all 385 pounds of feed to the truck.i couldn't believe it. I just hope he dont unnecessarily hurt hisself. He is very strong and so is Ben. I'm happy the electricity will be turned on. I'm just so excited for you Tina. 😊

If you flind your air does work, I would keep the one kim gives you, and the little one you have in the storage shed your getting, in case your central air dies when your are out there on vacation! Also I wanted to ask you if you have new smoke alarms, and a carbon monoxide detector for your camper! Buddy did a review on a smoke alarm that's supposed to be awesome, you may want to check with him to find out about it! Also I wanted to ask if you have a couple little fire extinguishers? 💞

Sweet lil Tony is just so cute 🥰🐶 And sorry Tina , I have to agree with Ben about the furniture. I also love the antique furniture 💯👍🏻 it def will last much longer than the stuff made these days, and I love the look of it. I don’t think I could do the wall to wall furniture tho Ben, LoL. Tina, I think Kim is correct about the ac not having enough power for it to kick on. Our RV also has the 2 ac units on top of it and when we’re not camping and we just have it here at the house ours won’t turn on either. We actually got the one in the living room to turn on however it wouldn’t blow cold air at all. But when we go camping they work just fine. I hope once y’all get it over to ur other property tht it works just fine for y’all. I bet y’all r excited for Lester & Jami to see it 👍🏻 y’all have done a lot of work on it to get it to the way it looks now. I just wish the bathroom in those things were just a little bigger myself 😂 I know ours has 2 full size bedrooms but the bathroom is so tiny u can barely turn around in it, LoL. I'm not sure you read my comment on the last video but you need to to either drill holes in the platform or put a the circulation plastic unit under that bed or you will for sure get mold in the mattress in the humid environment. Many Van life people use it under their beds even as full time travelers. It will happen for sure if the AC is not used constantly. I think you may be using this as a get away on the weekends. I hope you see this.

I'm 60 and I've never had a new bed either. LOL. As a single mom back in the day, I would buy used or friends would give me a mattress. I never got out of the mindset of save save save money even it I can afford it now. It's such a weird thing but I still do it with everything. Instead of stocking up, I only buy one. In the long run, it helps me not spend too much money. Food, clothes, cars, decorations, everything. Being poor or lower middle class messes with your brain because you sacrifice everything to give your kids the most you can. I'm so programmed to give myself less. And they have been on their own for 10 years. LOL.
I was thinking you could maybe plug the camper into your house power to check out the air conditioning and other things before moving it. We did that with ours when we were living in it.
Oh Ben I’m a maximalist too I love bright colors big furniture but a welcoming homey feel I’ve had people say it’s like a hotel though so it’s possible to create a beautiful maximalist home❤
Good Thursday morning Tina Ben Elijah and Tony. Time flies by si quickly when doing proojects and before you know it deadline is around the corner. Lester and Jami will be in awe when they see how the RV turned out. I use a floor model AC and I love it. I take the vent part out of the window for airing out my apt and when it rains. I agree with Ben. Vintage anything I prefer to. Has more intricate designs than modern cheap stuff. Have an awesome day 😎 ❤❤
It’s not very hard to replace the air conditioners if they are bad! Depending on the size! We replaced one in our camper that was 43 feet park model with central air. 700.00 but was on replace ceiling seal and plug in wires! Our unit was big! Maybe in time you can replace them! Possibly one in living room may be enough with just one. Best of luck! God bless! ❤
Hi Tina. It's highly possible that the air-conditioners need to be recharged with coolant. You said it was blowing but not blowing cold. But you have good backup.

Sweet lil Tony is just so cute 🥰🐶 And sorry Tina , I have to agree with Ben about the furniture. I also love the antique furniture 💯👍🏻 it def will last much longer than the stuff made these days, and I love the look of it. I don’t think I could do the wall to wall furniture tho Ben, LoL. Tina, I think Kim is correct about the ac not having enough power for it to kick on. Our RV also has the 2 ac units on top of it and when we’re not camping and we just have it here at the house ours won’t turn on either. We actually got the one in the living room to turn on however it wouldn’t blow cold air at all. But when we go camping they work just fine. I hope once y’all get it over to ur other property tht it works just fine for y’all. I bet y’all r excited for Lester & Jami to see it 👍🏻 y’all have done a lot of work on it to get it to the way it looks now. I just wish the bathroom in those things were just a little bigger myself 😂 I know ours has 2 full size bedrooms but the bathroom is so tiny u can barely turn around in it, LoL. Can’t wait to see what ya do to the bathroom Tina, I’m sure it’s gonna look awesome. I hope y’all have a great day, God bless u all 🫶🏻🙏

I'm not sure you read my comment on the last video but you need to to either drill holes in the platform or put a the circulation plastic unit under that bed or you will for sure get mold in the mattress in the humid environment. Many Van life people use it under their beds even as full time travelers. It will happen for sure if the AC is not used constantly. I think you may be using this as a get away on the weekends. I hope you see this.

I'm 60 and I've never had a new bed either. LOL. As a single mom back in the day, I would buy used or friends would give me a mattress. I never got out of the mindset of save save save money even it I can afford it now. It's such a weird thing but I still do it with everything. Instead of stocking up, I only buy one. In the long run, it helps me not spend too much money. Food, clothes, cars, decorations, everything. Being poor or lower middle class messes with your brain because you sacrifice everything to give your kids the most you can. I'm so programmed to give myself less. And they have been on their own for 10 years. LOL.

I was thinking you could maybe plug the camper into your house power to check out the air conditioning and other things before moving it. We did that with ours when we were living in it.
Oh Ben I’m a maximalist too I love bright colors big furniture but a welcoming homey feel I’ve had people say it’s like a hotel though so it’s possible to create a beautiful maximalist home❤

I’ve used that tub kits lots of times, it’s wonderful, last great, but make sure you get plenty of ventilation before you start mixing!

Good Thursday morning Tina Ben Elijah and Tony. Time flies by si quickly when doing proojects and before you know it deadline is around the corner. Lester and Jami will be in awe when they see how the RV turned out. I use a floor model AC and I love it. I take the vent part out of the window for airing out my apt and when it rains. I agree with Ben. Vintage anything I prefer to. Has more intricate designs than modern cheap stuff. Have an awesome day 😎 ❤❤

It’s not very hard to replace the air conditioners if they are bad! Depending on the size! We replaced one in our camper that was 43 feet park model with central air. 700.00 but was on replace ceiling seal and plug in wires! Our unit was big! Maybe in time you can replace them! Possibly one in living room may be enough with just one. Best of luck! God bless! ❤
Hi Tina. It's highly possible that the air-conditioners need to be recharged with coolant. You said it was blowing but not blowing cold. But you have good backup.
