As Mr MG spoke about placing CCTV cameras in Chennai I would like to express my bitter experience. Year back on February 2023 evening my dear friend met with a major accident opposite to ACS College located in thiruverkadu. He got injured in his spinal cord and with a left hand fracture and the accident was caused by a white Swift dzire car where the driver draw the vehicle very rash and ran away without stopping. We tried to file a complaint regarding this accident and police did not file FIR. The FIR was not filed because they didn't have any proof about the vehicle. There were many cctv cameras in that area and none of the cameras were working, all cameras placed by the government were not working and the cameras which were working when not facing towards the road. We couldn't file a complaint and catch the driver nor the vehicle. But my friend is getting better from is injuries. I just want to say this please in cameras is important and the doing a regular maintenance check of those cameras is even more important.

As Mr MG spoke about placing CCTV cameras in Chennai I would like to express my bitter experience. Year back on February 2023 evening my dear friend met with a major accident opposite to ACS College located in thiruverkadu. He got injured in his spinal cord and with a left hand fracture and the accident was caused by a white Swift dzire car where the driver draw the vehicle very rash and ran away without stopping. We tried to file a complaint regarding this accident and police did not file FIR. The FIR was not filed because they didn't have any proof about the vehicle. There were many cctv cameras in that area and none of the cameras were working, all cameras placed by the government were not working and the cameras which were working when not facing towards the road. We couldn't file a complaint and catch the driver nor the vehicle. But my friend is getting better from is injuries. I just want to say this please in cameras is important and the doing a regular maintenance check of those cameras is even more important.
