since y’all loved seeing my vinyl collection, i thought i’d also show you my CD collection 🫶 i’ve been collecting CDs much longer than vinyl and they are some of the first pieces of my Taylor Swift merch collection! i have a feeling CDs will come back in trend just like vinyl records are coming back into pop culture. i love how accessible streaming has made music but i also love having a physical copy of my favorite albums 💖
i have every cd from debut all the way to 1989 (Taylor’s Version) as well as some harder to find editions of these albums and cd singles. i also have a few taylor swift signed cds✨

I’ve bought a TS cd since Debut, (longtime Swiftie) & have one from every era. (I don’t do multiples or different variants) I’m a millennial who listens to nothing but Taylor in my car, & already pre-ordered my TTPD cd. Folklore is my very favorite- so I have a signed & framed version of that. I hope cd’s are always around cause I love the nostalgia of collecting them. 💛

You can actually purchase empty cd cases super cheaply and then transfer everything over to the new one, if you wanted to spruce up your cases! Also, I know there are USB connected portable DVD players you can purchase inexpensively to attach to your computer, should you want to play the DVDs that way!
This was so much fun to watch! I’ve restarted my CD collection as well after donating my entire collection probably right before Taylor’s first album. So all of my CDs are now hers, for the most part. I love seeing all of these!

The “Beautiful Eyes” EP currently nets over $100, being as it wasn’t reissued. Same for the “Speak Now” CD & DVD Live combo. If you have them, hang onto them!

I got the speak now tour on cd and dvd last summer and the tour book that comes with a poster love it so much, I’ve binged the crap out of that movie and back to December was my favorite when the ladies in the back did the violin and Taylor playing the piano it has my heart

Your vinyl video inspired me to finally fix my record player and spend $85 on only two records at target. I felt silly but now I have them framed above the record player so it’s fine. You better not inspire me to get CDs too since I don’t even have a working CD player in my car or home!! Cool collection thanks for sharing!
I just wanted to tell you that in Barnes and Noble, they are storing all the TS CD's and vinyl behind the counter. There, they even have the 1989 dlx with the polaroids!

I’m a bit of a minimalist- i don’t own any CDs and the over the top Taylor swift merch hype and scalpers/scammers ripping people off makes me mad sometimes. BUUUuuuut This video made me really happy to watch though to learn about all the different variants and cuteness! 😊 if I could have anything from your stash it would be the folklore signed copy! The lover diaries I haven’t read yet so I want to find the pdf of that! So cool! I like the “in the weeds” version of folklore too ❤ that would be nice to have~

I like collecting CDs I don’t know why but having the physical copie of the cd in your head is so much better than ITunes I don’t know why but I just love collecting CDs as well I collected CDs from my favourite band and having the physical copy in your hand is so much better in my opinion I do like your collection

I have loved listening to music since I was a teenager, but I started collecting CD since 2022. I'm an international 2022 swiftie, so I decided that I'll buy only (Taylor's Version) from debut to reputation's albums. So far, I have Midnights Moonstone Blue and Lavander edition, Lover, Folklore deluxe, Evermore deluxe, Red (Taylor's Version) and 4 copies of 1989 (Taylor's Version), 3 albums deluxe with the Polaroids and a standard edition with a poster.
Can't wait for the last two re-recording!!! 💚🖤

Nena, did you know that there was an Exclusive Target Edition of the 'Speak Now: World Tour Live' CD . . . It has WHITE cover instead of the black cover . . . I would send you a copy, but I only have one . . . 🙃 You can probably find it somewhere . . . The extra bonus content it has are the performance of 'Nashville', 'Sweet Escape', & the making of the 'Mean' MV. But you WILL need a DVD player to watch them; the CD is the same, though, I think. 😉 And the 'Late Night' Edition WAS available online, but just as a digital copy & only for like 24 hours. I know for sure because I brought the digital copy online since I wasn't at the show . . . 🙃

I owned original release year cds of every album since I was already 18 when Debut came out. Even in the times I was mostly buying them to download to my personal itunes to listen on my iPods, I was still collecting them. I started buying all the TV cds to listen to them in my car and my son became a fan during Evermore/Folkore so waiting up to buy TV releases & Midnights became our thing. But tragically last summer all my cds were stolen out of my car 😭 I now just have 1989 bc to repurchase them all is quite an investment as a single Mom but luckily I still have my vinyl collection and plan to slowly rebuy them all.

I like the first, a re-issue, double disc, with a lenticular cover. Sadly expensive to buy now. What is fun to include, is a cover track Wildest Dreams, which is on Dragonforce's new CD album, Warp Speed Warriors. I think you will find it amusing, especially the promo video.

Enhanced CDs was a new thing record labels were trying before UA-cam launched in 2006 where artists would release video content on enhanced CDs like music videos or interviews or live performances so you could view the artist music videos without having to wait for them to play on tv but they faded out after UA-cam started releasing artists music videos in early 2009.

hi nena! idk if these are good quality or not but i found original debut-rep cds on amazon and they actually are from Taylor Swift herself (it’s a verified brand) and they’re relatively cheap! hope this helps anyone else ❤
I went to hmv just to look and they had debut , fearless tv ,platinum and deluxe,speak now tv ,speak now , 1989 tv ,1989 , folklore,evermore and loads of variety

I was looking up what songs Taylor wrote about her exes and when you go to the last kiss one (for some reason it's picture is RED) if you click on the little arrow, your video pops up in one of the four little info sections! LOOOOK AT ITTTT ! It shows your 'ranking taylor's boyfriends' video .

I hope she puts beautiful eyes and I Heart out!!! I had that cd but I don’t know what happened to it. I went to the Fearless Tour and was right in front of her literally on the right side by the pit area. I have her debut signed. My mom saw her open for George Strait and brought me back a signed copy of her debut. When they filmed the Hannah Montana Movie, I was in the barn where they filmed Taylor a week later.

My mom and I listened to CDs in my mom’s 2007 Tahoe. We have a CD Player in my mom’s car. Also my aunt also has a CD player but she has a Bluetooth in her 2016 Buick Encore. Plus I have some Taylor Swift CDs in the car, also some Ed Sheeran CDs and Jonas Brothers CDs.

I love your collection! I've been collecting Taylor CDs since 2010. I also get all the variants. They all look so pleasing on my bookshelf 😂 My one regret is not getting the Midnights CDs with the signed inserts. I didn't get them because it was an insert and I would've rather her signed the cover but who cares. It's still something signed from the queen. 😭 But I do have signed copies of Fearless TV, Red TV, Folklore and Evermore! 😃
I am a huge swiftie but never gotten any Taylor swift vinyls or cds. I have been a swiftie since lover album so basically I have the Taylor versions but not the ogs like fearless speak now red and 1989
I can’t pick a favorite album. The difference for me is that I don’t keep the cases that the albums come in. I take the covers and back photos out of the cases and keep those in a container. I have all of the CDs in a CD holder with sleeves. You know the ones where you turn the pages. It’s just easier for me that way. Plus I’ve been collecting CDs since I was 10 and I’m in my 30s now so I have way too many to keep cases! Lol

Nena I need to know if you should wear earplugs for the eras tour? I've watched all your eras tour vlogs and I don't recall you wearing them. So many people are sayng it's really necessary. Would you recommend?

I have many of the albums you do. Although my original 1989 (I buy duplicates of the album) all came with the same Polaroid packs. i’m hoping she will also include beautiful eyes and iHeart on her version of the debut album. How cool it would be if they were surprised songs as well! I also love Christmas Must Be Something More! As far as Taylor’s version of 1989 goes, I missed out on the website ones, so I only have the versions with the posters. I would like to get at least one version with the remix of Bad Blood and I would love to get my hands on the late night edition of midnights. as for evermore, I have the deluxe version, and I was at a Newberry comics last year, and they happen to have the Japanese edition which came with a calendar and remixes of Willow. And I also have the edited clean version of evermore where the lyrics are different, which I thought was interesting, because to me the clean versions make the song feel different. I agree that whether you’re a fan or not should not be based on how many albums you have. My collection is quite huge because I have been collecting since 2006 when the original debut came out. When I was at Newberry comics, I also happen to find the Japanese version of the stolen version of Fearless as well as the UK international version of Fearless so that was pretty cool.

im so close catching up on getting her cds ive been missing. im not big into variants, but the only extras i have are the diaries and rep magizines. im missing debut (2006) and a few more deluxe ones and the christmas one and beautiful eyes. my very first one i got was Red deluxe during red era (came with guitar picks - missing the complete set and i have to get replacements! and poster), then i got rep magazines during rep era and folklore/evermore era signed versions from her store and then last year i started collecting the ones ive been missing. :)
