Question, I have a 1969 fiberglass dune buggy that has about an inch to an inch and a half removed from the fender. What products would I need to use to put that inch back on?
Probably the easiest way would be to make a thin fiberglass sheet and cut it to the width you need, then epoxy resin it on from the underside. Not Too the edge but underneath. once in place you could build it up and fair it to size and shape. Epoxy resin has superior bonding strength and can be thickened to make and excellent bonding putty.
