If you talk with Kreia enough, she reveals her backstory of being a Sith Lord so powerful with the Dark Side that her eyes were completely black. She took two apprentices, Sion and Nihlus, and when they betrayed her, as Sith apprentices always do, it was especially brutal. As in choking, head slamming against a wall, bone breaking knee to the ribs and being thrown on the ground so hard it caused a small tremor brutal. She will share this secret with you even if you go completely light side, just keep talking to her.

To be fair, Kreia's betrayal is actually part of her training regimen for you because she wants you to realize your full potential and succeed (in killing the Force, yes) where she has failed. I felt way more betrayed by the Glorious General in Jade Empire. That bastard.
Well yeah. Personally if he was a templar his methods would've differed. The Templars aren't really that bad you know. They just wanted direction and order. They were just demonized and put out to be a bad tyrannical force. But no in all reality, it was them who kept order. They were the police of 13th century europe.
@@michaellanders9824 Are we talking about Assassin's Creed or Real-Life? Because neither of which confirm what you just said here. I will seperate the post in 2 parts, one that is about the AC world the other the real world: 1. He IS a Templar, even Robert admitted that he was one of them and his methods are actually what the Templars always have been condoning, if not used. His believes about Mankind is actually the most logical and most smartest conclusion of a Templar ideology, that realizes that as long as humans make their own Fate, peace is impossible, because Humans have so many contradicting ideals, you can lose counts. The Templars want Peace through control and it doesn't matter how they achieve it, as long as they achieve it, it's all good in their Authoritarian minds. 2. Real life Templars massacred countless innocent people and turned the Holy Land into a Warzone, the world would have been better without them. Also police forces existed long before then and they weren't as bad as the Templars, who have more in common with the evil anti-semitic stereotypes than some are willingly to admit.

They use a British accent for the classy character that you can totally trust with your credit card information and a German accent for the character you definitely never will trust because he will absolutely use your credit card information to destroy ze uniferse wiz a deaz ray. The henchman speaks Russian, the businessman Chinese and the clumsy but likeable sidekick either Italian or French. Did I miss anyone?
Betrayal in AC, heart breaking. Why I have trust issues.
How about the goalkeeper in fifa
Ooooooooooooh...
+Shots N Stats lol
Oh...
Shots fired
Alice: Madness Returns SPOILERS
Dr Bumby comes to mind. Don't forget him! (Pun totally intended, for those that know the context.)
She will share this secret with you even if you go completely light side, just keep talking to her.
my bank details is that im broke
what about Shepard from modern warfare 2!?! Broke all of our hearts with (someones) murder
Spazz 0829 Rip Roach and Ghost atleast he got the best death scene in any game ever
When I saw Altair's mentor in the thumbnail, I was like "This should be called 7 characters that definitely do not betray you but did."
No love for the totally trustworthy character gallery of Dishonored? It's chock full of them, especially if you include the DLCs.
+Thomas Fuglseth So True! I mean take Pendleton for example! Sure he's willing to get you to murder his own brothers for more power, but it's only to help get the rightful heir on the throne. I'm sure he's got no ulterior motives whatsoever! =D
Havelock betrays the Lord Regent to help you, only later betrays you, and laterer betrays his former allies.
Betrayception!
+Thomas Fuglseth I got mad when they didn't include TRUSTY patches TRUST IS IN HIS NAME!
Lol Kevin Spacey was the bad guy all along!
what's a more terrible betrayal, Kevin Spaceys character or Kevin Spacey himself?
The Hypocrisy
The real Kevin!
It's his Kevin Facey
The most "Trustworthy" people. VAULT TEC!!!
Thanks for that disclaimer, I almost gave Mike my bank details!
#1 Dogmeat.
Where can I buy Jane's entire closet?
If I send Andy my credit details can I have Janes clothes
+Paris Rb you might lose all your money because jane probably has a wardrobe worth like $10 000
i feel you
I'm a guy and I would still keep em
+meep moop 2 same
I've never played uncharted, so when it came up on this list and Harry started speaking, I just screamed out "Alistair??!!" when I recognized his voice
Just rewatching this and got to Jonathan Irons, oh dear, oh dear...
Here's another: Judge Holloway from Silent Hill: Homecoming.
Also, Brother Augustine from Paul Luther's chapter in Eternal Darkness
I really love you for telling us the Games you will spoiler. BEVORE you spoiler it. Amazing
What about mercer Frey from the thieves guild in Skyrim
NGL, I was actually surprised by that one
@@kodakunaokami3790 I knew he was shady the moment I saw him. Astrid actually surprised me. I liked her and the other guild members.
Actually, a very good point. He was shady but "open" enough that we thought he was the good guy. I gotta tell you, I nearly threw my controller at the screen the first time I got betrayed
@@blackshadowbox Astrid didn't come as a shock to me simply because I had a feeling she wanted us dead the moment we were revealed to be the listener, since by the Old Ways, we would actually outrank her, as did Cicero. Her blatant disrespect for the Tenets had me going "Oh you're gonna be a fucking traitor I can feel it. And Sithis is _not_ gonna like that"
Was I the only one who was super surprised by the betrayal in Jade Empire?
Awol Peace I was completely blindsided, "Even the flaws" "POW POW POW" "WHAT HELL!"
Master li gave no hint to betrayed that’s more of a “betrayals that actually surprised us” thing
No you were not. That is the best damn plot twist in gaming. The final conflict with him as awesome as well
Loghain Xd Dude could as well have had a glowing "TRAITOR" sign over his head. So subtle.
ikr I always enjoy getting to fight him in the landsmeet. I'm trying to do all the endings, but it's killing part of me to think of what I have to do to Alistair to get the ending with Loghain. :'(
I am so glad Al Mualim is on here. when he revealed himself as not so cool I wouldnt stop yelling the same words "AL MUALIM WHAT THE FUCK"
Such a shock. I think I knew within the first 5 seconds of his screen time
Would you kindly?
Irons: "what your seeing is advanced warfare"
Game sins: "roll credits"
"And from that point on with everything out in the open it's pretty much him trying to kill you with his advanced soldiers, robot drones and… socket wrench."
And right about there is when I lost it XD
So… no Illusive Man from Mass Effect? 'Cause he's so trustworthy doncha know… even his name screams "trust me no really I'm totally on your side dude I'm a stand-up guy!"
My bank account is put under the name Sir. Pipinpadinopsicopolis. Good luck withdrawing my "money," the name slides right of the tongue.
The third!!!
Avatar the last Airbender references!
"Are we developing such a weapon?"
"No, we are not"
pleased clapping
"because we've already developed it."
extreme applause and shock from the crowd
If you didn't want me to believe Kevin Spacy was AW's main bad guy, you shouldn't of cast Kevin Spacy.
Oh yeah....
*cough* Seven
*cough* Usual Suspects
*hack* Real Life
should have cast sean pen
*have
What about GLaDOS? The first game
What about Wheatley from the second game?
+Marguns21 I can't think of anyone with your best interests closer to heart than GLaDOS! =D
I'm not gonna lie I thought glados would betray us from the start I mean the game would be a bit slow it it way just a portal puzzle game and it didn't introduce a enemy so I just assumed she would be bad, Wheatley on the other hand I did not suspect, I mean his accent made him trustworthy... Right
Reuben short BUT GLaDOS PROMISED CAKE!!!
Marguns21 But Wheatley promised the one thing that Chell wanted: freedom!
Me: I don’t trust Barry. Not even a little. I know he’s just gonna betray me later no matter what I do.
Barry: Jill, give me my gun!
Game: [gives me a choice to actually stop that from happening]
Me: okay sure why not [gives him the gun]
Me later: wth was I thinking.
Press read more for my bank details
I'm calling the police.
Not enough spaces
Patches? Anyone?
McDeathmask Dark Souls 3 Come a bit faster, please!
+Prøphet Next time I see him I will fight him until I paint the arena red
"Spider Patches! Spider Patches!
Does whatever ol' Patches can!
Springs a trap, betrays you!
Kicks you down, a big pit, look out!
Here comes Spider Patches!"
+Prøphet which game is he/she belonged to?? I've heard of that name but I don't remember
patches...
not gonna lie i was already searching for a new video on the home page when mike asked if we werent going to betray them by leaving to watch another channel lol. to be fair though i already liked the video, I'm already subscribed and i was probably going to watch another OX video cuz I've seen so many recently that 90% of my home page was OX videos lmao.
11:43
*pauses video*
In a few seconds, Jane is going to sneak up on Mike and stab him, or at least pose to stab him.
11:52
I AM DISAPPOINTED.
+Jesse Clark With Andy?
Jonathan Davies With the lack of stabbing!
Hey what about 343 guilty spark?
I'll never forgive that metal hunk o' junk... poor Johnson...
isnt it a bit resonable? we destryoed his home twice, the arc, AND a lot of other forrunner legacy.....*halo 6 he comes back to save the day XD
REINER ZUFALL He killed Johnson Damnit !
and he switched sides too many times to count.
+REINER ZUFALL fucker should have been number one
To be fair, Kreia's betrayal is actually part of her training regimen for you because she wants you to realize your full potential and succeed (in killing the Force, yes) where she has failed. I felt way more betrayed by the Glorious General in Jade Empire. That bastard.
Mentor from Assassins Creed wasn't a templar, he just wanted power
Mr. Fitzler he was a Templar collaborator
Well yeah. Personally if he was a templar his methods would've differed. The Templars aren't really that bad you know. They just wanted direction and order. They were just demonized and put out to be a bad tyrannical force. But no in all reality, it was them who kept order. They were the police of 13th century europe.
Templars were not really soldiers. They had like 500 shock troopers, but mostly they were bankers...
Michael Landers I found the Templar!
@@michaellanders9824 Are we talking about Assassin's Creed or Real-Life? Because neither of which confirm what you just said here. I will seperate the post in 2 parts, one that is about the AC world the other the real world:
Mr. Jefferson anyone?
What about David or the principal? ;p
TheCrazyWalkingStick
David is the other way around. He seems like a dick but he saves you when Mr Jefferson captures you. And the pricipal was always a dick.
PitaCuNutella
I know it was a joke^^
TheCrazyWalkingStick
:D
PităCuNutella who is that lol jk
Macil from Strife: Quest for the Sigil. He's your trustworthy commander for about the first half of the game, then it turns out he's knowingly sending rebels to their death because he's been corrupted by the alien virus they were supposed to be fighting. And he's a necessary boss fight to get one piece of the Sigil needed to complete the game.
Spoilers of Assassin's Creed Unity ahead!
What about Pierre Bellec? The entire fight I was so shocked and doubtful.
How did 343 Guilty Spark NOT make it into this video?!
cause he wasn't really betraying you in halo ce. He thought you already knew what he wanted to do and it was a huge misunderstanding that led to them mutually becoming enemies. In halo 3 he just went insane at the last minute when he found out you were going to blow up his ring.... AGAIN!!!
+Patriots Spokes Man 411 I thought of it that way a little later. But still...HE KILLED JOHNSON! I just can't ever let that go lol.
Honestly on my first play-though I didn't think Kreia would betray me simply because it was too obvious. She pulled a reverse psychology on me by outright saying "no seriously, don't trust me"
you forgot BioShock Altas
+john hincapie Thank you, I was looking for this. I was floored when that happened.
Where is Solas from Dragon Age Inquisition?
This useful rift mage who happens to know everything about the Breach, the Fade and Skyhold and appeared exactly where and when we needed him, the one true friend and possible love interest is never going to betray me, right? RIGHT??
+Zsuzsanna Printzné Tóth What about Iron Bull, aka Hisrad aka Lying Liar Who Lies Unless You Bang Quest Him
***** you can do his loyalty quest without romancing him but you make a fair point
However, Bull never betrayed my Inquisitors in my play-throughs - but it is unavoidable with Solas! >:(
+Zsuzsanna Printzné Tóth Getting real tired of all this 'Solas betrays you' stuff. He's just doing his thing, the Inquisitor is the one choosing to go against him, yet you see no one complaining about that. Double standards.
The trust exercise at the beginning made me laugh much more than is reasonable! 😂😂
It would of been better if it was, "Totally Untrustworthy Characters, Who You Can Actually Trust" * Spoilers*
+LmeLover That vid would be like 2 minutes long. Maybe.
for me it was yes man in fallout new vegas. I just couldn't trust him for some reason..
But then show this list instead and make us feel stupid for trusting them
3:28.
GOD, she's cute.
Omg that trust fall was the cutest!!!
you guys forgot captain scarlett from borderlands 2
+Captain Mitchell The title of this video even sounds exactly like something she would say.
+Sandra C WILL LITERALLY STAB YOU IN THE BACK
