  • As computers shrink and demands for computing power intensify, the limits of current semiconductor technology are becoming increasingly apparent. In this video, we present spintronics, an alternative approach to computing that’s based on electron spin instead of electric charge. Spintronics, which is already used in specialized computer memory, could become widespread in the coming years.

      I just saw a UA-cam video on genius quotes of Albert Einstein.
      One of them goes something like this, "If you can't explain something in simple terms you don't understand it well enough".
      This channel makes it easy to understand from a layman's perspective.

    Thank you so much.
    The keys to the development of spintronics are well focused.
    I would like you to highlight the reasons for using certain materials or the explanation of specific phenomena such as hyperlinks in the description.

    Great video. Noted that electron is negative charge. So up spin electron actually possesses down magnetization.

    Great video. However, I suspect there is a missing element as I am unsure that there is an explanation as to how the data is written from 1 to 0. Opposed to from 0 to 1

    I feel like an idiot not knowing about Magnetoresistive rams... Physics undergrad too, should have come across it but nah, I don't know what also helps electrons tunnel through better if the magnetic field in the gap is non-zero either.

    Atmospheric seridians is a good place to start, then you have to align the superposition of alternating halogenic gases to perform a friction a infrared laser can distribute as energy output.

    can anybody please tell the physics behind why cant stored data be lost if stored in spin?

    • @m1ndk1ller
      @m1ndk1ller 4 місяці тому

      because it uses 2 permanent magnets, which do not lose their electron charge
