As funny as this is, it's super uncool of the TO to have the finals of the event treated so poorly. The forklift was so loud I couldn't hear myself think. I can only imagine what it was like in person. And forcing them to move tables mid game is beyond the pail.
I would have refused to play next to a forklift. There is a famous German safety movie "forklift driver Klaus", which is extremely bloody and shows what can go wrong.
I also know this from some tournaments, this is so disrespectful. they should broadcast it from a quiet room to a big audience in another room, already having beers.
I miss paper magic =T. Online Magic (MTGO) is so toxic that MTGA decided to not even allow chat. Just had 3+ rounds of Modern that look 1.5+ hours??? R1: 3 games of T3 Win - OP spent 23 minutes of his clock. Similar in R2. R3 was a normal game, OP disconnected facing lethal.
I haven't played on MTGO very recently (at least a year) Is it that bad now? At the least I know things like commander and vintage cube used to be fairly decent for folks respecting others' time, but that may be b/c they are more casual formats compared to modern and other things that can lead to competitions later on & are more known for the prestige.
@@trevorstammler Most formats are fine and most opponents are fine. Just super annoying when OP idles / wastes so much time. MTGO added (back?) Friendly Constructed Leagues… so some people double queue w their non interactive combo decks. Double queuing is actually bad for business, Daybreak should add a detection and disallow it.
Could they not move to a place a bit more quiet? I’d be absolutely pissed if I made it all the way to the finals just to have all this noise and nonsense distract me after a full day of mtg…

Arena is designed to be faster-paced and can be played on mobile. A bit more 2024.
