2021 Goroka Tour - Papua New Guinea [4K]

- Join us Daniel and Yuka, as we explore Papua New Guinea and travel to the Eastern Highlands Province to attend the 2021 Goroka Show! Unfortunately it was cancelled at the last minute which was very disappointing, but we still managed to have an incredible time exploring the beautiful surrounding area of the Eastern Highlands, experiencing the Asaro Mudmen and flying our DJI FPV Drone at Daulo Pass!
Goroka in Papua New Guinea's Eastern Highlands Province is known as the gateway to the Highlands and is an agricultural hub for all the surrounding villages!

Great troopers you two! Love the village walk and the countryside views. The place has really changed; used to run the main road up past the cultural center from the market and back into NSI!!
We stayed at the National Sports Institute next to Toea Wisil!
Whaaat!!? Naw wayyyy 😃💕.Lived and worked there; PNG’s first localized coaching positions ( I was the Associate Netball Coaching Director and Mr O was Softball Coaching Director- you get the drift 😂🤭😉💕- mipela Goroka peeps!!). My apartment was the middle of the three units by the lower field!!!!

Beautiful! Been to PNG in 2020 (Alotau) and waiting to go there again. How did you get into the country for it has been closed for tourists since 2021?
I usually work there! So was there while the country was locked down during the beginning of COVID! Had a window of opportunity to get into Japan before Omicron became a thing… and we’re here in Japan now until I can return to PNG again for work! Thanks for your question! :)
