      Keep the soil nearby moist and rich in organic matter and samplings will pop up everywhere. Ohh and the LOVE LOVE woodchips

    What is the soil medium he's using there? It looks almost like neat sand, but with a hint of soil in it.

      @@dynamicgarden you can use cinnamon too I heard as an anti fungal. I used it when I transplanted a fruit tree.

    If you just cut off one root from a 17 ft tall tree will it kill the donor tree (by crating a path way for root rot to get into it ? Is that why you dig up the whole tree when you take roots cuttings?

    • @dynamicgarden
      @dynamicgarden  10 місяців тому +3

      Hi
      Yes, you can cut a root from the tree, there will be no problem
      Only do this when it is close to the beginning of spring
      We had removed the trees so we used their roots

      @rbbiefah 9 місяців тому +2

      I read that "after you dig them allow them to dry out for at least two days. This helps create a protective coating that later protects against rot."
      Do you do this?

      There are so many places selling them, just search on Google for your nearest one. The fastest growing is Paulownia Pau Tong z07, then P. Shantong, but P. Tomentosa is nonetheless really fast.

    How appalling that the lazy dog couldn't get up for just two minutes and answer our questions. Looks like a sheepdog to me, so I really would have expected more from him.
