Thank you so much! Videos from Dec 2019 all have varnish on them. Before that I would not use varnish unless a customer asks for it. I still its a personal choice. If terracotta jewellery is well taken care of, varnish isn't needed. Traditionally terracotta was admired for its earthy matt finish appearance :)

Thank you so much! I wouldn't know the best as I have not used all the products. But here I use Master's touch and Liqiutex. In India it was a a brand called Germann (that was available in hardware stores) or fevicryl gold metallic paints by pidilite.

Whenever i start coloring my jwellery either i broke it or mess with mixing color on eachother on designs. Can you suggest me some idea? Thank you so much! Glad you like our videos and content I upload. To me, you can fire it at a later point. It's just that, when your work is dry (bone dry), it's very fragile. So one needs to extra care. I have fired my work even after 45 days of making it. So no rush there :)
Thank you so much! Having worked with clay for almost 12+ years I have never fired clay without a kiln. I never recommend doing a firing at home as overtime the fumes can be harmful to breathe in. If I may ask, which city do you live in? if i am aware of a studio, I could suggest one to you.

I usually have a small checklist before choosing a varnish : - non yellowing -odorless -quick drying -water resistant -can be used on acrylic paints - brush cleaning should be easy with water -varnish can be diluted with water Hope this helps you decide on a product that's available to you.
You can. Varnish is done to protect your paint work. If the jewellery is well taken care of then one needn't varnish. Traditionally terracotta jewellery was never varnished. It was known for its earthy appearance.

You can try to refire it and the paint would burn off in the kiln. Post that you'll be able to paint & assemble it the way you like. Please do this only if you are sure its made of clay thats meant to be fired.

Thank you so very much 😌🙏 It's just a personal choice, one can obviously use any material they want. I have used red wooden beads here as the hole size of the bead is big enough for my 3mm cord to enter. I have terracotta beads of the same size, but the hole isn't that big. It also makes the set lighter. Plus the color goes well with the kind I had in mind. Hope this answers your query.

I use to do that when I would get my pieces fired using carbon reduction (where my pieces turn black). I would wash, leave it overnight to dry and start painting only the next morning.

The complete set is approx 12 inches (including the pendant). When I cut the cord, I usually measure it a little extra. I cut approx 48 inches of the cord and after the assembling is done I just trim off the excess.

Thank you so much! - You can put them on simple cards, and keep them in zip locks or you can also warp in an old clean cloth or bubble wrap. - don't mix them up with your other jewellery. - you can wipe your jewellery with a soft cloth to keep them clean
@@revathisekar3511 don't do that. Let it dry at room temperature. Quick drying can lead to warping (bending) and sometimes cracks. If your clay isn't kneaded well, try to knead it before designing it. Air pockets in clay can also lead cracks and damages.
You can check the description box to see the materials I use. Back in Bangalore, I would use clay only from Clay Joy. You can also look up Clay Station. Both are pottery studios in Bangalore. Both sell clay and provide firing facilities.

Depends. Light aanangil, go ahead with one more coat. But let it dry between coats. Oru coat dry aanu shesham second coat adicholu.

Most of the times I use either 3-4mm thickness black nylon cord.
Nichrome wire, you can check the description box.
After finishing 1st paint how much time it will take to dry mam?
A few minutes if the coat of paint isn't too thick. But leave for a few hours before varnishing it
