It's 12:30am Sunday and this is Our decision for movie night. I watched earlier with my son and now tonight with Mama. Thanks again for another great upload.
First time I managed to start watching from the premiere of the show. I only managed to catch it on Sundays as I work on Saturdays. Keep on being awesome Captain Cartoon and thank you for bringing these shows back on your channel! 🤘😎🤘
I’m 6 hrs late but this is the first day I’ve watched on Saturday, something about watching a fresh one on Saturday seems a bit more magical for whatever reason. did you also have a lame emotional feeling ? haha I’m prob alone on that
@@aaronswift740 There's nothing lame about feeling like that dude. You remember as kids, we used to wake up especially early on Saturday mornings more than any other day in the week, because these cartoons existed for us and we didn't wanna miss them. That's the same feeling you're getting now as this channel has brought back that nostalgic feeling we had as kids dude. 👍😎
Re: Bailey’s Comets. In the early 1970’s, roller derby was a huge craze. It became events people went to see and watch on TV. That’s what inspired this cartoon. Also, this wasn’t Filmation but DePatie-Freleng. The Comets do look a little like the Arches. The theme, the music and sound effects are a dead giveaway. They’re not Filmation’s style. I loved this show back in the day.
You’re cartoons are great! I was born in 67’ and love watching these on my T.V …Thanks! Keep them coming…any Hong Kong phooey? And a hello from South Hadley (Western)Massachusetts
Love it and you are getting into a nice groove mastering this brand you’ve created. every week you start getting farther ahead , I def see you evolving into a professional and getting rich from this. I can see so many different paths that lead to big success. imagine if hasbro Hannah barbers Warner brothers or whoever started letting you air certain series possibly even getting paid for advertising in one way or another. Shoot if they are smart that’s something they would do. also this is just my personal feeling but I really want this show to become massive but at the same time want to see it stay true to what it is now and what it started as. Mainly I dont want to see it dumbed down and changed it targeting to kids. because now anyone from 10 to 100 can watch this and enjoy it. I think it would be cool for parents to watch it with their kids every Saturday morning.
11/16/2024: ALOHAAAAA from Hawaii, Captain Cartoon. Just seen your channel now. New subscriber to your channel. One of my favorite cartoons growing up was The Flintstones. Do you show that too? It’s 10:00pm Saturday night. Just got home from work an hour ago. Sitting here in my favorite chair with my Ipad on my lap and looking at your channel, and drinking a large mug of hot tea. 🫖👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾. I love the cartoons of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.🌺🏄🏄♀️🏄🏽♂️🏄🤙🤙🤙🤙
Never heard of the Bailey's Comets. After seeing it, it's a very good, fun show. Must have came out in the '60s judging by both the animation and music.
I am completely surprised that they had a Mork and Mindy cartoon show. I’m pretty safe to assume that Robin Williams and Pam Dawber provided the voices of their respective characters.
I look at the Mork and Mindy cartoon as an alternate timeline (making it three times that he has come to earth in total) since Mork's first appearance was back in the 1950's in the Happy Days universe. As we know, he did return a few decades later and met Mindy for the first time. Also, Firestorm was introduced during the next to.ladt season of Superfriends (The Legendary Super Powers Show). The Ruby-Spears Supperman show premiered a few years after the Superfriends shows ended (1988 to be exact). The RS version of Supes was my favorite until the DCAU version came.along.
I also remember the adventures of Superboy and Krypto. They would show an episode of that periodically during the superman/Batman adventures show. Normally they would show episodes of the super friends mainly. But every now and then, they would show first and old episode of Superman, an episode of Aquaman the cartoon, and super friends at the end.
I have to say that I really enjoy the Archies, Sabrina, and the Groovy Ghoulies. I forgot about them growing up. And, what about the Looney Toons hour with bugs and daffy and the rest of those characters?
It’s a shame that My Pet Monster seems to be only available in mono audio now. It was glorious stere when it originally aired(I jumped on Stereo tv as soon as I could. My Beta HIFi vcr was stere tv ready but required q special stereo box to make it happen. Filmation’s Ghostbusters was the first cartoon I ever heard in stereo. Filmation and Nelvana jumped on stereo early. It took Hanna-Barbera , DIC and other companies a while to move to stereo. What’s strange is that The Care Bear family (Another Nelvana production around the same time as My Pet Monster)was originally aired in mono. It was later remastered and it surprisingly became beautiful stere-Especially John Sebastian’s wonderful theme song. Yet things went the other way for My Pet Monster-which is no longer stereo. I can’t even find evidence of it on UA-cam. A shame.
Hey any update on the robotic stooges and can you play the 1981 Incredible Hulk cartoon cause it not on any Streaming platform At all neither is Mr. T & The t force maybe you could play those
What about showing old Johnny quest, commercials from koleco, Hong Kong phooey, the one cartoon about the lion and family set in old Rome, (4get the name), the jetsons, pink panther, speed buggy, and there are many more. The remakes and the Japanese cartoons from the 90s and y2k ‘lost their brush stroke.’
Xtrawdktra come on now in the map from now on I 5005. Remind me at hello remember, what happened? Firework develop remember, fire Mina one, all the cars again. Oh no, not again. No oh no oh no no no no no no the one where we gonna do. what time are we drive on?

also the kitty meows are legendary and a signature staple of the show. Idk why anyone would be bothered by it

I noticed you never show any doll commercials in between your cartoons
I thought I did , I will rectify that
Second
Hahahaha
Did Josie and the pussycats air before Scooby-Doo or was it produced st a later date? There seems to be some similarities between the two.
