Travis Dubois agree 100 percent. I think most of the people talking shit probably don't own any of those cars. I own one of the big 4 and I love all four cars. I wave at all of them because I know it's probably an enthusiast that's driving it.

Man, there is no other car that gives off the same atmosphere as a ford... Hell when I was a little kid my dad had a 2007-ish Ford focus ST and I loved the shit out of that car, the sound design has not changed much since. I still get nostalgia about that car once in a while.

@@SirTrevorJames I bought one in April this year. 2016 focus rs. already put a 5" intercooler, all hard piping under, removed the reducers from the turbo and intake, cobb stage 2 tune, 91 octane, carbon fiber intake and high flow air filter, AWE catback exhaust, cobb short throw shifter reduced 40%. and waiting for my colder 1 spark plugs and MSD coils. yesterday put on the new carbon fiber struts for the hood because screw the hood prop. thing always hot af..

They're pretty similar to their VW counterparts (they're part of VAG group).

Udate Update it's because he has the winter tires and rims on it :) focus rs comes with michelin pilot sport cup 2 summer tires on black rims and a soft rubber compound winter tire on chrome rims. For it to be legal to sell because of safety reasons it has to come with both!

Udate Update me too, it makes me sad seeing haters talk so much shit about it because of the interior (which actually got some tasteful carbon fibre trim for 2018) and the price. I don't think that people realize that you're paying for performance not a luxury experience!
@@TurboDripp this irks me a lot as well, people comparing the likes of the Type-R, RS or i30N to say an RS3 or A45 which are basically twice the price specced up. Doesn't really make sense.
I had an st but now that its gone i missed it so now im off to bigger and better things like the rs so yeah im getting one especially after hearing this masterpiece

I have a 2016 ST. Would love an RS one day with the Mountune suspension, different seats and the pops removed from the exhaust. I think the pops would make me go insane. I would enjoy being able to run sport mode without the pops and the ability to turn the pops on only when I wanted them.

45800lol u can adjust the suspension... I drove this car from Pittsburgh whole way down to San Antonio TX and I have a back problem an yet no issues was comfortable
You sacrifice some comfort for performance. A loose suspension won’t get good numbers at the track

It's definitely a car that tempts and pushes you to achieve the worst possible fuel economy... and that's a beautiful thing. I've averaged 20.4 MPG (11.5L/100km) in mine since new.

Oh man is that a bad ass! It sounds like the heavens devil and all of the blue is so cool! Yes this came up behind my 2010 Grand Cherokee’s bumper on a favorite back road and I said OK another person was who thinks that they can keep up with my 5.7 liter Hemi and it did. So after some straight-runs from stop to stop this bad ass was still on me good driver with a good weapon I gave him respectfully amazed and the same in return.

I get such a kick out of the fact that everyone rags on the mustang ecoboost for no reason at all, when it sounds exactly like an RS (i own one). All while having a better interior, a digital dash, and all around turns more heads with better looks

only complaint with the car is the original suspension was a bit rough. otherwise not too bad

Donovan I would imagine it is. Same issue in STI. I think this entire class of economy car based hot hatches and economy car based sports cars are like this. It feels like you sit ON TOP of the car rather than IN the car. It makes you feel super stupid. But I only drive sports coupe and two door sports cars that are much lower riding so maybe I'm biased. I would imagine anyone who came from a unique platform sports car (rather than economy car based) would make the seat height complaint. But if you came from an economy car before this, I doubt you'd care or even notice it.
At 5'10 I didn't have any complaints about the seat hight, driving position felt great, the seat was awesome, everything was just a bit cramped overall imo (but that's a Focus thing).
